They were out of product for the first three drink choices we had, and when we settled in a drink they did they (peppermint drinks) the mint was so weak you could barely taste it in the drinks. Also bought a pumpkin spice (scone I think) which was so stale it wasn't edible, the employee tried to heat it up to make it seem more fresh but it did not work and just made the pastery more hard when it cooked down.
Best mocha in Calgary! They use proper Belgian chocolate. The girls working are always lovely and do a great job. A chill place to get mosome work done.
Great tasting coffee, I’ve purchased beans to grind at home and sat in many times. Great cozy atmosphere that beats any Tim’s or Starbucks by a long shot!
Great working space available, good latte. The only downside is the parking. If you plan to stay longer than 10mins, you have to park around the back of the professional building, that you can register yoir plate for 2hr free parking. Not sure if you can extend the free parking, if you're planning on working in the coffee shop longer than 2hrs. Street parking nearby is permit parking only. But, the shop is large, staff is friendly, coffee is good
Stopped in for a coffee and bagel. The latte was okay and the bagel was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and my order was processed quickly. A nice neighbourhood coffee shop, clean and well-maintained.
This place reminds me of my hometown’s coffee shops which I miss dearly. Whenever I go there the staff member are so welcoming and this place is cozy. Prices are reasonable for the quality of coffee and bakeries you’re getting it for. This coffee shop is A MUST if you’re in town, trust me. Oh and, their “New York cheese cake” is a +.
I had a few poor experiences at this place. One time I asked what time they close at, and the guy seemed annoyed and rude. He said, it says right there. And didn’t seem that friendly. The other time I went in to buy a root beer, and the same guy wasn’t very friendly. He just stood there and starred at me the whole time like I didn’t belong there. Very poor service. I have a feeling because it was early during Covid. People seemed hostile and unnecessarily strict during these times.
Stood outside at 7: 00am, their advertised opening time. Dark, silent, no one there. At least the weather was nice. Getting nothing after my drive there was not.
Ran in here just before closing to order a quick Americano and was greeted warmly. After I placed my order, I realized I had forgotten my card after she had already pulled the espresso.
The young lady who served me kindly offered me the drink anyways, despite my efforts to find another way to compensate them.
Moments like this remind me why we should support small businesses, especially family owned & operated ones. Going above and beyond, even outside the franchises codes of conduct.
One of the best peppermint mochas with milk chocolate I have ever had.either Bea or Roya make it perfectly every time. Great ambiance and customer service, too! Love it!
Service was decent but they do not know how to make espresso drinks at all. Every time I've been, they burn the milk and it loses all it's flavour (I'm a barista so I know that it burns all the natural sweetness of the milk if it is heated too much). Very expensive for unprofessional coffee.
The Barista who took my order was extremely rude. And she is so mean each Wednesday afternoon that I go there. If my child class was not beside this cafe I would never come back again. The way that she treats the customers is not welcoming at all.
My wife went here and said it was fantastic. I thought it may be the place I looked up that accepts Bitcoin and it is (those who know, know. Don't judge). I'll be spending some sats next time I'm there. Thank you for supporting future money
