We had new asphalt shingles, 2 sun tunnels and new attic insulation installed by Weatherproof in 2023. Andreas was great to deal with and so was everyone onsite who did the installation work.

Great service for a reasonable price - architecturally challenging detail required shingling as it had only been finished with pressure treated wood before. Adam came up with a detailed quote to match and blend in with existing shingles, and the guys who did the work executed it beautifully (with a little onsite creativity to cap it off. They left the site super-clean and everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks very much!

Weatherproof Roofing sports the words "We're on top of it! " on the cover page of their booklet. Well, let me break the news to you - they are NOT "on top" of anything. I requested a quote from them via their online form and three days later there was still no response. When I contacted them by email, they finally scheduled an estimate. The first thing the estimator said when he showed on my porch is that "we are not the cheapest company. " We have a nice house in a popular neighbourhood so I am not sure what precipitated that comment, as we were looking for a quality company, not the cheapest price. It's now been almost a week after the estimate, and there is radio silence. I can see them say the usual "we're very busy", but everyone is busy, and I did get some prompt and professional communication from a number of reputable companies and was happy to give one of them my business. This company does not value its reputation.

Weatherproof Roofing were the the only ones that got back to me after I reached out to multiple chimney repair companies with a significant leak in my old chimney. They were timely and responsive in addressing my concerns and providing a quote. The work they performed in removing my old chimney and patching up the roof was top shelf. It’s like it never existed at all and now there’s zero chance of further water damage.

Workers need an access point, so your lawn or driveway may experience wear and tear. Discuss any concerns or requests ahead of time, be prepared to protect any pets, flowers, structures, etc.

We are very pleased with excellent roof installation from Weatherproof Roofing. I met Scott H and Andreas G at the Edmonton Home and Renovation Show and was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism right from the start. They provided me with a detailed accurate quote with three choices of roofing shingles and options such as drip edge and "W" valley lining. Andreas was very responsive to my questions and brought a range of samples to the house so we could see how the colours looked against our siding. The company also provided documents showing WCB and insurance coverage which is important when outsiders are working on your property. The roofing crew showed up on time each day and worked carefully and diligently to replace our shingles. When the job was completed they carefully cleaned the job site. After the work was done Andreas came to check it out and provide a package with the warranty information. We were on a tight schedule to get this work done and the pros at Weatherproof Roofing exceeded our expectations! Thanks again to all the crew from Weatherproof.

Joe and Q take a lot of pride in their work, which included difficult 2nd storey work with very little space for their ladder on my narrow lot. I had one of the best experiences dealing with Andreas from Weatherproof Roofing. I have a 30-year-old house and got the roof re-shingled last fall (another company). For the first time, I noticed a brown spot (wet mark, about 3" wide) on the ceiling in the kitchen. The expert from the original roofing company said that it was caused because of better materials used in modern roofing. His solution was to upgrade the insulation and add a vent above the kitchen. That was when I wanted to get a second opinion and specifically looked for a company that specialized in roofing and insulation and Weatherproof Roofing came up as the top company.

It was then that I met Andreas and he spotted the folly of blindly upgrading the insulation in our particular house. I don't want to go into the technical details here but basically, the design of our house was such that doing a selective insulation upgrade would have created problem in the large uninsulated area of our roof, down the road. Based on his experience, he was so certain that he even refused to do the insulation upgrade (they have their reputation to protect). I rarely came across a company that walks away from a certain deal (about a 2K value) especially in the future interest of the client.

In conclusion, he sent his technicians to get a matching roof vent installed and in the process also provided me with the pictures of the state of my current insulation (which turned out to be not so bad and was in keeping with the norm for the age of the house). Overall an exceptional experience with only one minor regret. I just wish I knew about this company before so I could have gone with them for my roofing needs. I recommend you give them a call even if you are not sure. You never know, they may save you a lot of headaches in the future.

After my due diligence, we hired weatherproof Roofing to do our home and garage. The job was completed in one day to our surprise, the guys worked very hard. Our yard was left without a trace of debris of any kind. We chose this contractor for being extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a certified installer to offer the extended warranty. If you need a roof, don't sign with anyone until Bryan at Weatherproof gives you their quote. You won't be sorry. I would and HAVE recommended them to family and friends and three jobs have been done based on those recommendations.

I called this company twice for a quote. 1st time they did not show up at the agreed time, or call to re-schedule. I called them a week later, left a message for the estimator, yeah, same result, no return call. Be cautious when contacting this company.

We were really impressed with the professionalism from the inspection, quote and work that was done. Also the knowledge about different options we were not even aware of, we'd definitely use them in the future.

We needed a new roof after just a few short years of our original roof being installed due to defects. Andreas came out to look to see if the roof was repairable, but we decided to get a whole new roof. His advice and detail during the initial inspection impressed me right away, he was dressed professionally and showed up on time. Having worked with many contractors in the past, these are all big pointers that Weatherproof is a reputable company. Responses to our questions regarding the quote over email and telephone were very quickly answered (typically same day) and in good detail. We never felt like he was trying to steer us toward spending more money.
The quote was nicely broken out into the base components, plus optional upgrades or addons, giving us a good idea of which way to go to suit our budget.
The roof has just been finished, and it looks stellar! I watched them work hard on it over the weekend, and they were very careful with details and used quality products. The crew was always extremely friendly and polite. Final cleanup was also very nice to come home to: there is absolutely NO mess. No nails. No scraps of shingles or paper. (They checked the neighbor yards for debris). All the patio furniture and planters from our large deck were put back in place exactly where it came from, and accessories that will be reinstalled later were all neatly stacked in our shed. All without us being home to ask for it to be done. Very impressive and appreciated, boys!

Quickly replaced my shingles, all completed within a week. Got a quote the same day. Options on shingles were abundant and types thoroughly explained Left the property clean and tidy. The owner did a follow up with us a week after completion and one year later we received a phone call to follow up and make sure there were no issues.

Initially had someone out to estimate repairing some rot damage on my roof which went well, asked a few follow up questions via e-mail (including a re-roof quote request) and after chasing with a few e-mails and phone calls over a multiple weeks, haven't heard anything back.
