It’s too hard when you suddenly loose your vehicle (2023 Santa Fe hybrid), also lost my Hyundai trust as my vehicle decided to stop while I am driving on 70Km/h on the highway I towed my vehicle 10 business days ago to my dealership, till now no response every time I called service they don’t even pick up the phone and if they did (that’s happened twice) the answer always SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU BACK which’s never happened.
The problem I feel that they don’t know what is the problem on it, as no one say any problem till now.
Really I feel like I lost my mind when I paid for this Vehicle

I took my 2023 Sante Fe in for servicing while out of town on business and Laura and her staff went above and beyond! They ensured my drop-off was quick and streamlined and had transportation to the airport waiting so I was early for my flight. They communicated consistently with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated while out of the country. I called service department to book my hyundai tuscan for 48k service. I was quoted 550 for service level 3. I asked about AWD service tbey said there is no such service. Ended up going to a different hyundai dealership for
the following reasons. Quoted same price to do service 4 whi h includes major fuel injection service in which u quoted 283 and i did Awd service that your staff claimed it does not exist. Was so unprofessional

Worst dealership in Edmonton. We bought a car for our daughter here just under a week ago. The wheel vibrates when it goes over 100km. We called to see what they could do the guy was blunt and told us he wasn’t a mechanic and there was nothing he could do about. Meanwhile this is one of the salesmen who could’ve sent us to service. So the next day I take it in at 8am to get it fixed and come back to check on it at 1pm and it hasn’t moved which isn’t a big deal I understand they might be busy. But I walk in and the guy who had helped me earlier goes “Didn’t I say l would call you when it’s ready? ” They get your money and are super nice till you buy the car they treat you like garbage. Do not buy a car here. We test drove a Jeep and the engine light came on and aswell the Jeep we bought with the rattling problem. The interior was cleaned very poorly. If I could give a zero I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Went in for a recall for undercoating on my elantra, I showed up an hour early from out of town and they got me right in (even though it was lunch time)! Aswell as recalibrated my sunroof, re-routed my belt, and did a good checkover on my vehicle within an hour! Both the service advisor and the tech were awesome! Thanks guys!:)

I have never had any issues with my car before they touched it, however, now I am over $4000 deep into repairs and I am without my car. I brought it to them because we own a Hyundai and I trusted their "technicians". I own a Ford and confirmed that they could and would work on it, My issue now though is ever since they touched it I have had nothing but problems. NEVER have I ever had such horrible service. The Service Advisors are absolutely horrible with communication, that is unless they are wanting to tell you that they want to repair more which equals more money and then there is the issue of the service manager who will do nothing but tell you that he cannot do anything. I will be transparent, he did discount the labor rate but that was before this new set of issues that I am having. But don't worry that is supposed to be making me feel ok. I was supposed to have my car back today after 1.5 days but now as I write this I am still without, because low and behold another issue arised and my car won't start, convenient. The dealership side is fantastic and I encourage you to go and purchase from them however steer clear of their shop.

The vehicle is great. The services have been terrible everytime.
Always go way over time.
This latest service - Was told my car was almost done and was just being washed. Another 1.5 hours passed and the car was not washed at all.
Apparently it was too cold to wash. This would be fine but then don't lie to me saying it was being washed.
Also had to redo the alignment 2 additional times (3 total). After driving away the car was pulling hard to the right. Brought it back and waited another 1hr+
Steering wheel was dirty upon return as well.

Arrived at 8am, finally left at 1: 10pm

I gave 3 starts because, the day I took my car the service was fine (obviously not the same as used to with Rory), anyway I was asked to give a good feedback and I agreed.
The next day I called for a booking same day because I wanted to check my fog lights.
When I arrived the agent who assisted me (with eyeglasses) I don't even remember his name, apparently had a bad day, I asked if my vehicle could be done in a certain time and he raised his voice and his the tone in his voice change and said: "you better hurry up giving that key".
I just keep calm and let him go.
When he was back he didn't even look at me and told me won't be ready in the time you asked.
I took my keys and left.
Not as pleasant as the day before.

Brought my car in to get re-keyed and was quoted $290 after parts, service and labor then right before they installed they upped it to $461+tax before parts, service and labor so I called and made a fuss and found out they tried to add in a fob when I specifically told them just a key. They ended up fixing their error. I got my car back only to find my heater and ac doesn't work when it's running only in AUX mode and was told that they didn't do anything and that made my heater/ac stop functioning. And that they can't prove that my heater was actually working when they brought it in and even IF the heater stopped working in their care it's not their issue.

I still standby my original review on the sales department, but the service department has been awful. If I didn't pre-pay for my oil change package I wouldn't be coming here for service. Make sure you double check to see that the services they say they are doing are actually completed, and make sure when you book an "appointment" that your aren't blindsided by being told it's a "drop off time" and you're left waiting hours for your vehicle.

We had the pleasure of working with Levi on the purchase of our new Palisade. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to truly want to help us make the best decision on a vehicle. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, and not once did we feel pressured. I'm looking forward to continuing our relationship with this dealership through service on our vehicle.

Excellent Customer Service! The service department are knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to help you! The engine died in my 2016 Sante Fe Sport with only 170,000 km's on the vehicle. Hyundai Canada did warranty my vehicle and covered all costs associated with a new engine, they even covered the cost of a rental vehicle; even though my extended warranty ended at 160,000 km's. Jayelle was my first point of contact, she was the best emotional support for me and really helped settle my nerves. She contacted Hertz rentals to set up a vehicle for me and sent me on my way feeling optimistic. Moe, my service advisor, managed to get a rush put on my vehicle and I was able to pick it up in 4 days with a brand new engine! Outstanding service! A huge thank you to all involved with my vehicle, the mechanic who replaced the engine even came out to make sure I was satisfied with his work, I was also greeted by Justin, the service manager. These days I find true customer service is hard to come by, and I haven't ever left a rating anywhere; but I really felt compelled to tell my story. From the worst day ever, to one of the best! I will continue to support West Edmonton Hyundai as they have supported me.

Worst experience I've had at a dealership. Ordered a part for my vehicle 5 weeks ago and they called me that it was in. I called back to make an appointment to get it installed and they didn't know about any part I ordered. Eventually they found it and I made my appointment. Went in today after 2 weeks of waiting, they said it was complete and they didn't even install the part I ordered. When I picked it up they said they had no clue about the part. They went looking around and found it and now I have to wait even longer to have the part installed. Their service team needs to be better prepared. Would not recommend going here for any service related issues.

It was a breath of fresh air. Sierra was extremely helpful and resolved all of my issues. Careless, sloppy employees who struggle with simply gathering basic info like phone numbers (including seemingly making up numbers out of thin air for customers.) They will also not take responsibility for their errors and will blame you or suggest you must be mistaken.

Follow up- They have now botched my phone number 3 times and have zero communication between employees, nor do they take any responsibility for their mistakes or offer anything to redeem themselves.

This is how they treat people who actually buy vehicles, take your money and that's it for them.

West Edmonton Hyundai has been a pleasure to be involved with as a client over the past 14 years. My wife and I have purchased 4 vehicles from them and have always had very professional and courteous sales staff who knew their product well and made sure the vehicle we purchased at that season of our life was exactly what we needed. We have also regularly had our vehicles serviced in the service department, we know the staff by name and they make us feel welcome and do a great job of providing service to us. I would highly recommend them as a dealership to deal with.

Purchased a vehicle just over a year ago.made agreements with the sales person in order to get my business and returned for a service and they tried charging me for something that should've been included.after questioning it I was informed the sales person no longer works here and they are no longer going to honor their word. I'm a firm believer that a company is only as good as their word and it appears West Edmonton Hyundai doesn't believe in that philosophy. Therefore I can't in good conscience continue to support this dealership nor recommend it to anyone, especially family and friends.

Justin, the service manager reached out regarding the review and listened to my concerns that I had regarding my most recent experience. Apologized for the difficulty faced and offered a very simple reason for the confusion. After listening to my concerns and acting upon them I have decided to revise my initial review and star rating for the sole reason of Justin reaching out wanting to discuss and resolve the issues faced. After speaking with Justin and discussing ways that things should've went compared to how it went I feel as my concerns were thoughtfully dealt with and a reasonable compromise was made. I fully believe in second chances especially if there was work from both parties on remediation. So for that reason and Justin's customer service I will be going back to Hyundai for my next service as to give them the second chance they truly deserve. Great work Justin!

I was browsing a small suv car a fully equipped car which fitted me as a new driver. I searched and was bought me to Hyundai Company and chatted someone about my needs and asked me to find a dealer. Right on that day I search a dealer and found one. Came into this dealership on Aug 14, we were inside looking around for at least 20 mins looking at the different vehicles. We were waiting for someone to come up to talk to us but nobody ever did. Most of the workers were talking to each other, the receptionist was throwing a bouncy ball up in the air. Anyway nobody seemed very interested in making a sale so we left and went to the Kia dealership just around the corner and purchased a 2022 Kia Seltos.

I was very cautious when buying a car from dealers because some previous bad experience with a go auto dealer, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the stuff at West Edmonton Hyundai. Kennedy is very nice, same with John the general manager, they are very reasonable with the price as well. Although there was a little misunderstanding on the financing part, Kennedy and John was very helpful and solved it right away for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Earlier this year my wife and I purchased our second Hyundai Sante Fe from West Edmonton Hyundai. Both times the experience was excellent! Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful, but a few stood out in particular. Levi and Kennedy were amazing. They were incredibly helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had, without coming across as pushy or high pressure. Even though I know for a fact we weren't the only clients they were dealing with that day, I never fealt like we had anything but their full attention. If you're interested in a Hyundai you couldn't hope to find better sales people then Levi or Kennedy. I'm 6 1/2 hours from Edmonton, but their customer service has made it worth the drive!

Great dealership and even better staff! Herbert helped me get into my first new vehicle and made sure everything was taken care of throughout the process! My vehicle, while new, had a couple door dings and paint scuffs that Herbert made sure were taken care of no problem. Not to mention, I got a rock chip not 24 hours after picking up the car, he made sure I got that filled at no cost. Would recommend Herbert and West Edmonton Hyundai to anyone in the market for a new vehicle!

I have to say that things did not start off well at all, I was extremely disappointed in the initial service. There was no service. I contacted Dwayne, the dealer principal, and let him know that things were going sideways. My mother in law had her heart set on a specific model of Kona and factory ordered it several months ago. Dwayne made sure that things turned around very quickly and my mother in law is extremely happy with the deal provided and the Kona is amazing. Thank you Dwayne for stepping up and making things right and making my life easier with a happy mother in law.

I received a letter for a minor recall for my Sante Fe. Booked the appointment - no problem. As I was waiting for the part to be installed, the Service Advisor told me of a major emissions service that was recommended for my SUV at the the tune of $295.00. My vehicle has 20,000 KLMs on it so its an upsell that I do not need at this time. I told him to just install the recalled part. After waiting awhile he returned to me saying that my part cannot be installed as "the mechanic dropped it and a red car ran over it. " So this tells me because I wouldn't pay for an upsell item I wasn't going to get my warranty work done. Think of a better story than that. At least make it a beliveable one.

Bought my first car, had no clue what i wanted. All i knew was my budget and that i wanted a reliable sedan. Was lucky enough to be assisted by this wonderful salesman Norbert. He took his time to guide us through finding a car with many features that would fit our budget. He was with us throughout the whole process from looking for a new car to having a new gorgeous sedan. Norbert was patient throughout the whole process. He took us out for a test drive and showed every feature of the car. I would not expect to have owned a car that would have many features for my budget. I couldn’t help but buy it right away. I had many frustrations with buying a new car, but he was with us all the way.

We've been with Hyundai for years now and just purchased a new 2021 Tucson.
Although we've always had great experiences dealing with the Hyundai team, this time stood out.
Norbert (sales) helped us choose the best vehicle suited for our family and budget, Meena (business office) walked us through step by step, giving us all the options without any sugar coating etc on the financial side of things and Mary (sales) closed with the delivery of our new vehicle, never once did we feel rushed or pushed aside. Everyone made us feel as ease, no pressure at all. I'd recommend this team 150%

I came in for and oil change and wanted to get my vehicle cleaned on the outside. I was given the knowledge that their cleaning crew had been laid off due to Covid, and that they wouldn't be able to give her a complimentary wash. When everything was said and done, I came out to a pleasantly surprising clean vehicle. I am happy with the service overall and was happy to see my SUV clean. I will recommend anyone to come visit this location. Their customer service is impeccable. Will continue to go back there each time I need any service. Thank you again!

The service department and parts is top notch here!

I had a bent tie rod on a 2020 Veloster N, sadly it was purchased at another dealership and it was a terrible experience. Every other dealership was trying to sell me almost $4000 worth of repairs for a tie rod! All I needed was just a tie rod and west end Hyundai was quick to help.

The original tie rod didn’t match so they opened a case with Hyundai and was able to sort it out. PHILLIP IN PARTS IS THE GUY TO SEE! He’s even going to be inspecting both parts and keeps me updated. This is the top notch service that deserves to be recognized and I can almost guarantee if you buy a vehicle here your well taken care of in service/parts.

Visited a friend in Canada to help him find a car. We went to the lot of Hyundai in West Edmonton and was "greeted" by Theo Yermemko (not sure on spelling). He told us we can't look at the cars on the lot and told us to "F#^$ off" when we asked why. I didn't see any sales staff around to complain to so we left and went to Southtown Hyundai. Much better experience.

It may just be this employee and not the entire staff but if someone hires a person that treats customers like that, it really makes me think about their business ethics.

UPDATE! Someone at Hyundai let Theo know who I am and where to find me. This employee is now harassing me and my friends. See screenshot. This is disturbing on so many levels. Does anyone check these reviews? Management? Anyone? I now have a stalker.

UPDATE 2: After speaking with a manager on the phone, he requested that I send screenshots of his employee harassing my friends for my personal information under the guise of "I need to return something to him". I got an email back from the manager that was very short. It said: "I'm not sure what in that message you feel constitutes a threat? " That was all. I responded with an explanation that harassing my friends and begging them for my personal information is threat enough for me. I'll continue to wait and will update if I hear nothing back.

Spend 0$ - everything was covered by the warranty.
During the maintenance time (more than 1 months) dealership provided me a rental vehicle for free.
Worked with the Service Advisor – Tina Wark. This wonderful woman – so responsible, punctual, organized and intelligent! Appreciate for your business, you helped me a lot. Saved my time and money.

It's one of those situations where the best deal for you (the dealership) isn't necessarily the best deal for me. Had our 19 inch hyundai tucson rim gouged around the entire face during a simple nail repair. While talking with a service department rep he said I can't believe they did this again. We were offered a repair though a company that west Edmonton hyundai deals with. Pain headache and time wasted driving back and forth to the dealership is just something that I can't be put through. I was flat out told that the rim wouldn't be replaced only repaired. Im not about to go through wasting my valuable time to have a sub standard repair done possibly a repair I won't except, what will happen next I refuse the repair and demand a new rim.

Joey Carlson, our sales representative and Amit Baid were professional, courteous and particularly helpful. When questions were asked, and I asked many, they were answered straight forward or researched to deliver as accurate an answer as possible. There are many competitive options for a consumer looking for a vehicle in the SUV/CUV market category and the dealer is an important part of the choice. Joey and Amit arranged for my wife and I to take a vehicle of the trim level we were considering, for a a day and evening. This allowed us to throughly experience the car under different driving conditions (including evening - and the head lights on this car are fantastic). Getting familiar with the onboard technology was intuitive and easy to understand; the redundant buttons make the interface safe and simple for common functions. We were able to confidently choose the 2019 Santa Fe. We will recommend Joey Carlson and West Edmonton Hyundai to people we know looking to purchase a vehicle.

This is my 5th Hyundai over the years, but the first time purchasing a vehicle all on my own. I originally started out, out of curiousity, whether to keep my old Sante Fe, or upgrade. I was all over the place with makes, models, and pricing, Lloyd was beyond patient, answering all my questions, really at times, when I found out, he was home, and on a day off. He informed me on technology I was really unaware of. Being a single mom, I did not need a pushy salesman, I needed someone with knowledge, understanding, and compassion to ensure I was getting the best deal, and that I understood my options, and actually provided me with options. I had a few quotes, for different makes, and model years, and once I fell in love with a product, he assisted me in getting my preferred colour, and style. He was there with me when it came in, walking me through all the features, and was genuinely happy for me, and my purchase. Not just a salesman, but a true caring part of this experience.

Our experience with West End Hyundai has been excellent. From Allan Sugiyama in Sales to Ray in Finance.a first class organization. We concluded our deal in less than 3 hours including test drive, purchasing and pickup.

I had recently finished my service appointment for my Veloster at 48,000km. Part of the “free oil change” program they offer when purchasing a new vehicle is that you have to pay for the major services at the correct intervals. Approximately every 24,000km. So the service this time around was $361 quoted on the phone (o/c, tire rotation, full inspection, check brakes, complimentary wash, etc)

So I had booked an appointment for 8am and arrived on time. This is when I dealt with Tina and had the worst service I have ever experienced in my life.

Everything had gone smoothly at first. Dropped off the car and signed up for the shuttle. I had asked Tina, would the vehicle be finished by 12pm because I had to pick up my son from school as I live 40min away from the dealer. She replied yes as I decided to either go to West Edmonton Mall or get dropped at home and use my other vehicle to run chores throughout the day. With service being finished before 12 I chose to get dropped off closer.

1pm rolls around and I call the service department. Tina informs me my car hasn’t been looked at as the mechanic got caught up with a longer than expected job. I ask her what can be done as you told me it’ll be finished by 12. She said to come down to the dealership and she will give me a loaner. She reminds me this isn’t typical but she will get one.

I arrive at West Edmonton Hyundai at 1: 30pm and my car is in the same spot. Hasn’t been moved. I go inside and get the loaner and Tina suggests I bring it back by 5pm. Well seeing how I had many other things to do that I need to do now, this could not be reasonable. I let her know my issues as well as what I needed to do.

The next morning I found the time to return the loaner and pick up my car and i went to go pay. $430 was my bill but I had been quoted $360. I question this. I understand shop supplies and taxes. But they charged me for fuel stabilizer that I had not asked for. I asked her to remove it and she said I agreed on the work order to have it put it. I had not and she snapped at me saying YOU ALSO DIDNT BRING THE CAR BACK BY 5pm WHEN I HAD ASKED YOU TO! I was in shock and awe. I replied to her about my appointment being at 8am and was still in the lot by 1: 30pm. She had told me at 8am you make an appointment with me! Not for service! I bicker back and forth until I realized I was getting treated like a child and I ask for Bonnie. She says that I can’t talk with her because she’s currently on lunch. You’ll have to talk with me.

Well needless to say, I storm to the front and asked the front desk to speak with Dwayne Nelson. I have bought 3 brand new Hyundai’s from this dealership and I can honestly say I probably won’t any longer due to the fact I have to deal with their service. Even knowing I have free oil changes for life, I may not even return here for servicing. I had such a sour taste in my mouth when I left there and I was totally disgusted. Dwayne had to spoken to Tina and had that removed, but the amount of embarrassment and disrespect I experienced there makes me want to share my awful experiences with whomever reads this.

I was a big proponent about this dealership. But everything goes hand in hand. Can’t have great sales, and terrible service. Btw I am still waiting for my survey they send out in email to let you know about my experience.

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from west endmonton Hyundai. I find all the sales people friendly and helpful. Our salesman Allan Sugiyama very helpful and very knowledgeable and just an overall nice person. He was not pushy he let us decide and was then there to help and answer any questions. With all this new technology we had a lot of questions and he very patiently answered all of them. He knows the product and is able to explain it. He is a very good salesman and we would purchase again from him

West Edmonton Hyundai was amazing to deal with from start to finish. Levi Nelson in sales was so helpful and gave a complete walk through of the vehicle from top to bottom. Ocean the Sales Manager made sure I was completely satisfied with my pricing and the vehicle. Meena in finance went over all my options and I never once felt pressured. The whole West Edmonton Hyundai family took amazing care of me. I purchased a 2018 Elantra Sport and am completely satisfied with not only the vehicle but the level of service West Edmonton Hyundai provided. I would recommend this dealership to all my family and friends.

I was in the market for a new vehicle. After visiting 4 other dealerships in and around Edmonton, I was most impressed with the customer service received at West End Hyundai. I called ahead of time noting what it was I was looking for, type of vehicle and specs of both aesthetics and engine. When I arrived Josh Corbett had a few options ready for me to both look at and test drive. Where other dealerships had their own agenda, Josh really listened to what I wanted and had a few options for me to try. He was very knowledgeable about the details of the car and wasn't at all pushy. Customer service was exemplary by both Josh and Ray Tarrabain in finance. Thank you all for a great experience. I left with exactly what I wanted plus some. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a new or use car.

Bought a vehicle from West Edmonton Hyundai a few weeks ago. So far my experience has been great, I was greeted nicely but didn’t feel pressured the way I have felt at several dealerships before. Hewa and Ocean helped me out with buying a vehicle and they were upfront and honest, no high pressure sales tactics and no being jerked around. To put everything in perspective, my sister recently bought a vehicle from Go Hyundai (South) and she bargained 6 free oil changes into her deal. She has had such a bad experience with that dealership that she will not cash in her free oil changes there and instead just did an oil change and got tires put on here at West Edmonton Hyundai. Highly recommend!

This was the second vehicle that we have purchased with the help of Alan Sugiyama at West Edmonton Hyundai. It was an easy choice to return to Alan after an excellent experience buying our first vehicle. In both sales, he worked hard to get us a great deal on exactly the vehicles that we were looking for. He is very knowledgeable about the brand and was happy to compare options and prices that suited our taste and budget. He was upfront about the wait time on dealer orders for the new Kona and kept in touch throughout the wait to keep us updated on the delivery date estimations and any other relevant news. Overall, the entire experience was easy and we won't hesitate to contact Alan for all future purchases.

I went to West Edmonton Hyundai just to check out new cars with no intention of buying one.
Ran into Alan who quickly got me inside a KONA, walked me through all the ins and outs of it (I know nothing about cars) and at the end of it I booked my car!
They said the car would arrive in 6-9 weeks but it came in sooner (4 weeks).
Everyone has been really helpful throughout my car buying process. Alan, Ocean (who may seem a bit non serious at first but he does listen!), and even Kumar (Finance Department).
I am happy with my car, and the team that helped me throughout the process. Thank you guys!
Looking forward to the next set of services with them, and I am pretty sure they wont let me down.

I was contacted by Jeff from sales about trading in for a new Santa Fe after doing some research. He made my decision much easier with things that fit my budget. Would recommend West Edmonton Hyundai if you are looking for a fair trade, especially Jeff very stand up guy.

Not gonna lie, I love this place I’ve bought two cars here from Kip. Really great group of people. Ray the finance manager helped me soooo much.

However. I have never waited longer than an hour for an oil change here. So I count on that when I book in for oil changes, as I’m a very busy person. So when I’m sitting here waiting for TWO HOURS and it’s still not done and I’ve now missed other appointments because they didn’t even care to mention that it would take longer today? Seriously unimpressed. If you’re short staffed, book less appointments. Don’t waste half my day thinking I won’t notice how long I’ve been sitting here. Not professional at all.

We purchased our last car here and were very pleased with the excellent service we received, and have been absolutely thrilled with our Sonata Hybrid. Thinking of purchasing another car, we were treated to a look at the new Santa Fe. Allan Sugiyama took us through the details and a test drive. Allan was very welcoming; we did not at any moment feel pressured, but felt simply that we were in the very capable and knowledgeable hands of a professional.
