Decent price. Decent breakfast. I'll stay there again. Even though it is a bit ghetto. And they didn't let us stay a minute past check out time.

I booked room for 101 on 2 day's ago, my friend forgot his charger and cable.there was nothing after I called back in half day.the front desk said the houses keeper couldn't find it

So when I first got to my room it had a smell like someone puked and more parking is needed but other than that it's right across the street from west edmonton mall

The rooms were absolutely repulsive. Smelt like dead dog and the whole carpet floor was literally wet and sticky, pretty sure it was mouldy or something. The service was very good, however for the price per night it’s absolutely ridiculous.

Great price and location when doing activities at the West Edmonton Mall. But it is very dated, definitely needs to be refreshed

I wasn't too sure what to expect when I seen this hotel rated as a 2 star hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and just fine for a cheap getaway.

Great costumer service at the front desk. Rooms are very basic, out-dated, no microwave but there is one for everyone to share on the 3rd floor. It is pet friendly for $25 each night. I would only stay here if you have children and are going to get the attraction passes included with your stay. We are a full family - 3 nights here, we received 2 attraction passes for each night = 6 & purchased 4 additional at 50% off through the hotel. 1 pass is originally $60, this is where we saved some money. Otherwise, the hotel is pricey for a basic room. It was convenient that when the kids got tired of the mall, they walked across the street to rest.

Stayed 2 nights to be close to the Mall which is conveniently across the street. But for the price you pay I expect a working elevator, a decent cup of coffee and a better breakfast than an old muffin, yogurt apple and granola bar. Very dated as well.

Pillow had a hair on it and some marks on the pillow case. Average to be exoected room. No pool, no nothing other than a place to sleep. A+ location w a short walk to the mall taking you right in the Bourbon Street Restaurant doors.

Conveniently located right in fron ofnthe mall. Toom were clean and comfortable at an affordable price

Absolutely disgusting rooms and terrible customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE! We were given a different room because of our initial complaints, turns out both rooms were in the same condition. Hair in the beds, on the pillows and in the bathtub. The housekeepers do not wear hairnets which causes this. Large yellow and small red stains on the mattresses as well as on the blankets across the foot on the beds when you flip them over. The sheets had black on them and the pillows were filthy. Dead bugs in the windows, sketchy people and a weird smell in the hallway. Lady working the front desk literally laughed and said “I know I am” when I told her she was unprofessional. She proceeded to challenge us on our concerns and stated she would be “checking the rooms when she has time” like we would lie? I have photos and videos of how repulsive the rooms were. I will never, ever stay here again!

Unfortunate visit. Wifi did not work, phone also did not work and spent over 200 per night. Not sure why these prices, but also not sure how everyone else is having a better experience.wish it were different.

We stayed for a couple nights and were pleased. We paid for the hotel plus the passes to the water park/adventure land which was a great deal. Only downside was another guest decided it was ok to keep the luggage Trollies in their room for a day which was inconvenient but the hotel can’t control that.

We stayed here as a less expensive alternative to the Fantasyland hotel. It was a great location and is just a short walk across the street. The service was excellent in the rooms were spotless. It's also great that you get the park passes at 50% off when you are a guest. We would definitely come back here again.

We just had a two night stay and will not return unless there are major improvements. Upon checkin, we saw a sign that said housekeeping was not available. I'm ok with that, for a two night stay we can reuse our towels and don't need someone to make the beds. But once in our room, I was quite certain one bed did not have the sheets changed from the previous guest. I called to the front desk, and after some wait, the staff member went to the laundry room and handed me some clean sheets. The room had multiple stains - walls, carpet, towels, toilet bowl looks like it has never seen cleaner. Parking lot is filled with garbage and cigarette butts. The location was perfect, but do yourself a favour and drive a few blocks. I wish I had read the reviews before we booked this hotel. BTW - the front desk staff member we dealt with was awesome.

The staff were great. Amazing location to walk across the street to the mall, but you are paying for the location. The rooms were ok- clean sleeping area and a/c worked well. The washroom however could have used some repairs, the fan squealed pretty loudly and I think the grout looked like it should be replaced around the shower tile, either dirty or moldy but wasn't bad enough to bother complaining when we weren't going to be in the room much.

Location SEEMS good - immediately opposite the Mall.

However, the immediate environs are HOSTILE to pedestrians. It’s no fault of this hotel that every route on foot is ugly at best & dangerous at worst.

The western-most exit is reached by footslogging down a narrow sidewalk, past a field where a tent is permanently pitched, traffic hurtling down the side of you.

Then you traverse a crosswork with no working lights. 50% chance cars will stop. If safely over the road, you descend via a creaking metal staircase into the dusty & near lightless bowels of a vast carpark. Eventually you’ll get to a sliver of sidewalk again and then the Mall entrance.

Given these hazards, it’d be best to drive to the Mall & park. The crossing from the Mall to the West Ed Mall Inn is just too horrible.

Back to the Inn. When you enter the lobby the front desk does not look up. When you deal directly with them they MIGHT look you in the eye. Anyone can step off the nasty street outside & into the lobby & elevator, then choose a floor to purvey - an access card isn’t required. It is not secure.

The front desk will give you no advice regarding the street nor entry to the Mall. If you have children or any infirmities, gaining entry to the Mall will be a struggle. I advise driving over - yes, it is that terrible. Like walking into a deathtrap that stinks of weeds and diesel.

I digress. Housekeeping staff at the Inn are great, but the interior is so dated it feels dirty just from the effects of time.

Also - breakfast is like eating cheap food at a highway gas station.

ALSO, you might not actually get housekeeping & parking is extra. Burn.

We were booked for two days, but changed hotels the second we walked in the room. The floors clearly aren’t vacuumed, sticky stuff on the counter, and stains on the sheets. The thought of getting into one of those beds made our skin crawl. We didn’t last the night. Two stars are for the young man at the desk who was very professional, helpful and kind.

Two security guards were sent to my room at 9: 30 pm because my less than 1 year old baby cried for 5 minutes. I spoke to the manager the next day and she was “really sorry”. Quiet time is 11pm

The location of the hotel and staff were great. The fact that there was no cleaning available, and when I asked to have our garbage changed, when the cleaning lady was next-door to our room, and I was told "you are not on my list" and she handed ME the garbage bag to do myself. I understand being short-staffed, but for the amount they are charging per night it would have been nice to have had someone check the garbage & replace the supplies like coffee.

We booked 2 adjoining rooms with a 2 and 3 year old. We showed up to the hotel and they had us in two rooms one on 2nd floor and one on 3rd. This made our stay very difficult. They did not accommodate us at all. They said we could both move rooms the following day to access adjoining rooms. Yeah cause packing up everything the next day is super convenient!

One staff member lied to me she told me I was 150.back on my card chris the manger told me she didn't charge me enough I paid over 400.00 the agreement wither before I booked free waterpark tickets 249.00 per stay the breafest was a joke I got apple 1 muffin granola bar how is a breafest reason chris told me charge my visa gave himself and his staff extra no wonder there lots bad reviews please don't waste your money to stay fancy Land is worth it there not honest they bunch liars fancy Land they have nicer rooms it should take my money give mangers and stuff for tips

Called and emailed the day before arriving to confirm our reservation because our flight was getting in late. Was assured both times our reservation would be held. Then we arrived at 3 a.m. Only to be told they had given our room away and that they "tried to call you like four times" and blamed me because I "didn't answer" even though they knew very well we were flying because I told them twice the day before. Little guy at the front desk was rude as hell.

Nice little place, much more reasonably priced than the themed rooms inside the mall. Friendly helpful staff. Very short walk to the mall. Had a great visit!

Very conveniently located across from west edmonton mall. Rooms aceptable not great but it worked great for me and my family

Myself and my husband stayed at your hotel and even though we were supposed to be charged more, we got charged less and got less refund. You need to clarify this with your customers and be polite about it. We anyways got a deal on the waterpark passes and the room. Just correct any miscommunication with your staff for stating that we would get 150.00 incidental fee. We enjoy the stay at West Edmonton mall Inn.

Front desk staff were super kind, helpful both at check in, check out and any queries. Travelling with kids is always interesting and they were empathetic and kind. Especially the front desk. Thank you for making our first trip to Edmonton great!

Only comment was that breakfast to go could have included a baked good.

Super convenient if you planning spend weekend in Mall, park your car in hotel parking and 1 minut walk to Mall! Good price! Recommended

We stayed at the West Edmonton Mall Inn and the first room we got had something that appeared to be blood stains on the carpet and up onto the light fixture. So we complained and they gave us a second room that had used underwear in the garbage can. When we complained the second time, they wouldn’t give us any money off our room. All they offered was a free pass to Galaxyland. Which probably doesn’t cost them a thing! The hallways were so dirty and had obviously not been vacuumed in a very long time. The comforter had stains on it and we ended up buying our own comforter which cost us $80 more than we needed to. I do not recommend anyone stay there. It is worth the extra money to stay directly in the mall or down the street more. We will NEVER stay there again.

Booked in last night with my family. ROOM 220. The room was dirty. Behind the chair they have two empty water bottle and pretzel pieces. Carpet seems to be not vacuum for decade including the hall way. We're able to give feedback to the manager and front desk and there was no words response at all. Even just saying "we apologize and we will contact our housekeeping. " No words just ignore both Manager and front desk. We will not recommend this especially for family with kids who love to laying down in the floor. Worst customer service ever

Room had a smell and the sitting chair had a stain duvet didn't seem the cleanest. No bath rooms even for guest must use you room. The just start giving guests boxed breakfasts last weekend.

Rooms were not the cleanest. Hair on sheets and stains. They took a $30 damage deposit fee which has still not been refunded. Front hotel staff were not overly friendly and didn’t ask how the stay was. It is a convenient location to the mall but other than that was not impressed and wouldn’t stay again.

During check-in waited at the front desk for about 15 min with no service until i called the front desk with my cell phone and person in the back office got of her cell phone and came to serve the customers waiting. The always and elevator looked like they hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in weeks. They was a really strong smell in the lobby. Found empty bottles in the corner of the room behind a chair and some old pretzels and chips makes you wonder what kind of cleaning and sanitizing was done. Mentioned it to the Hotel Manager during checkout and they didn't even react or apologized they didn't seem to care. Will never stay again.
