We had a great day in the Rocky Mountains (Banff, Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon)
All other companies cancelled reservations at the last moment. We really appreciated that Westar ran the day only for four people.
Our tour guide, Kelvin, was kind and friendly. He explained all the places in detail and drove very safely. We had enough time in each place. Kelvin was so kind to take great photos for us and thoughtful to even run to the car before us to warm the car. We highly recommend this tour. Don't miss it!

Booked a tour in December for my parents who only speaks mandarin, and they really enjoyed their journey. A big thumb up for the driver and tour guide. They are professional, honest and helpful.

Participated in a five-day tour of Banff, Jasper, and Yoho National Park. The itinerary was very professional. The tour guides Jamie and Stella provided bilingual services and introduced the scenic spots very clearly. The drivers were also very kind (sorry, I only remember one of them, Named Joe), but unfortunately the weather was not good for two days.

Great tour company. They made the tour plan really reasonable and we feel relaxed. My mom and I had three days tour, the first day we spent time in Calgary, second day in Banff and the third day in Jasper. Especially want to thank ours tour guide Michael Lok, no matter you can understand English, mandarin, or Cantonese. He can let your tour feel fantastic. And also I want to thank Stella Zhang and Simon Wang, they did great job.

We did our one day tour with Westar Travel to Banff and Lake Louies. The tour guide Michael and the driver are great. Michael was very cheerful and told us stories for every spot in three languages. He was also very helpful in resolving our issues about checking into our hotel in Banff. Many thanks to Michael and the driver.
Some suggestions to the tour company: It would be great to prepare a spare microphone in the tour bus so guests can still hear the tour guide in case one microphone is broken down. It would also be great if the bus can have some facilities on charging mobile phones as phone batteries tend to run out after taking so many photos and videos at the stunning beautiful sceneries.

Westar did a great job for our 5 Days Banff and Jasper trip un the beautiful Rocky mountains. The accommodation and the service were top notch. Our guide Lisa was the gem of the crown. She was knowledgeable, warm hearted and really helpful to everyone.every day we were delighted and impressed by her energy and humours, as well as thought fulmess. She is a also great photographer and helped take numerous nice pictures for all the tour group. And both Jayla and Simon the other two guides were professional and generous. We felt that we were well taken care of. We highly recommend westar team if you go for the same trip.

We did our first 7-day trip in Alberta with Westar Travel. We found Westar travel through Google and we had a wonderful 7 days.

The entire trip was well organized. The itinerary was well planned and the accommodations were great. All of the tour guides (Michael, Simon and Kelvin) and drivers were responsible and enthusiastic.

On the day we were supposed to visit Columbia Icefield, it stormed really hard and washed the road away. As a result, we were initially supposed to be in the bus for the entire day. But Simon and the driver were able to solve the issue and as a result we were able to do all that we had planned for that day, and we are so grateful.

Overall, I highly recommend Westar Travel, and we are already looking for another adventure with Westar Travel.

I just finished a five-day trip to bannff, jasper, and yoho today. This trip with my parents went smoothly and happily. I enjoyed a lot of beautiful scenery and made new friends. Special thanks also go to Daniel, who specially came to pick us up to take a snowmobile ride to see Peyto Lake and brought us safely back to Banff town for dinner. As tour guide, Lisa Rong provides 5 star services, very patient and kind, taking care of well my parents- in-law. They are very happy about 5-day trips in Banff.

Tour guide Gela from the hotel in the morning to start non-stop rush people, said 9: 30 departure from 9: 20 on the hotel front desk to call.
Trip time arrangement is unreasonable, Lake Louise nothing scenic stay the longest time, Lake Moraine need to climb the mountain only to give 40 minutes of time, and the natural bridge is only given 15 minutes.

We joined 5-days Canadian Rockies tour with Westar travel in the beginning of September. It was a great tour experiences. Westar is one of the largest Canada travel agencies specializing in Rocky Mountains according to the tour guide. There were around 50 tourists on each bus each day. It might sound a huge number for group travel. Nevertheless, I am impressed on how Westar combines various tourist trip selections and different hotel accommodations organized and efficiently. For value-to-money experience, this is considering above average quality tour services.

Our day one guide is Simon. He is calm and with clear instructions. Simon brought historical and cultural information for storytelling. We took Sulphuric mountain gondola to oversee the beauty of Banff surrounding, and took one hour hike at Johnston Canyon in the afternoon.

The day two and three guide is Lisa, super experienced and detailed. Going to Jasper National park is long drive and mostly no internet service. Lisa was keeping an eye on all customers. I can tell her sincerity and dedication. We took special coach to Columbia icefield, and cruised at Malighne lake the next day. It was such a unique experience. Even though few hours rides on the way back to Banff was exhausting, this is still a highly recommended route. Thanks Lisa’s attendance so everyone was punctual and trip was smooth.

The day four guide is Jamie. All tour guides are bilingual and instructed in both English and Mandarin fluently. Jamie especially stood out and showed her language talents and communicated clearly. Jamie is very nice, and perhaps a bit too nice, so one of disrespectful customers was constantly tardy.

The only caveat for the trip was text message might not reach to US customers as expected. We had group of four joining the tour, but only one of us could receive the message. Tour guides said they are aware of this problem. This might cause some disruption of communication. Hope Westar can resolve the issue promptly.

For the first-timer visiting Canadian Rockies, Westar is certainly recommended. In addition to rich attraction trip planing, I appreciate all tour guides we encountered. They are all professional and responsible and bring us a memorable Canada Rockies trip.

My family of four just had a great five day trip to Banff with Western Star Vacations. Here, we would like to express our special thanks to our tour guide Michael Ying Ho on the first day. He was very professional and humorous. He kept introducing various scenery along the way and made our trip full of joy. The tour guide Jaela on the second day was quite satisfactory, thank you.

Jamie, Michael, Larry and a Korean driver provided us with excellent service. This five-day trip to Banff Town was very good. Although the time was tight, it was very fulfilling. The only drawback is that I didn't get to eat at the Maligne Canyon Wilderness Restaurant. And because we are in a group, we have almost no chance to make more friends. I hope this can be improved next time. After all, in addition to traveling, I also hope to make more friends when traveling.
