I serve as Operations Manager for a district office overseeing a multitude of churches, camps and compassionate ministry centers across the prairie provinces. In the 20 years I have worked with Westland, we have faced a great variety of challenging situations. Rylan Greeno has become a trusted advisor who responds to my inquiries in a timely manner. He takes the time to inform us of the services offered through Westland, to explain our options and goes the extra mile to provide me with data to help in the decision-making process. Their service is terrible. Assigned me a broker in Calgary who never returns calls and when I call their office back they have no idea who the person supposedly is.

We have dealt with Westland insurance for years and before that Hunt insurance.
Recently we bought a larger home and our insurance rate came in extremely higher than what we were initially quoted. We have dealt with Leslie Armstrong before and she was exceptional at finding a much more reasonable rate. She went to the bat for us and we were so happy with her customer service and her professionalism. She was awesome

We recently had a claim on our Santa Fe with Wawanesa Insurance. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. However Joyce Podolski, our local agent, went above and beyond expectations to try and get the issues resolved. This was the best experience with an insurance broker I've ever had. They answered on the first ring and transferred me to an available agent instead of a voicemail. Aaron was excellent in getting what we needed done. He was able to provide us multiple quotes the same day and at very reasonable prices. I've never experience such a fast, professional, personable encounter with an insurance company before.

After seeing a large increase in my insurance along with a bunch of papers that I couldn't clearly understand I made an appointment to meet with Steve. I came into the meeting frustrated because I couldn't understand why I was seeing such an increase. Steve did a great job at being respectful and honest with me. Clearly explaining what my coverage is and why I'm seeing an increase. I left feeling taken care of and more knowledgeable thanks to Steve.

Our Insurance Agent at Westland Insurance recently retired who we had dealt with for many years. Our recent visits and calls were handled by Robin Hanna who is new to us. My wife and I are now retired and were needing to review our coverage and update some insured items. Robin did an excellent job answering our many questions! She was very approachable, friendly, and helpful! I was very impressed with her knowledge and a quick understanding of each question or concern we had! Whether on the phone or in person, dealing with Robin has been a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend dealing with Robin in the future!

I was able to find insurance coverage for my mobile home while other companies would not even consider it. Steve got me a good deal and was very professional all the way. It was pleasure to deal with Steve and Westland.

My family dealt with Hunt Insurance for many years. The service provided by Westland is still good. In particular, our insurance advisor Robin Hanna has been very helpful and prompt in all aspects.

Sharon was so helpful. She was very detail-oriented and made sure I was happy with my policy. We did a lot of back and forth on the differences between several policies (I was a pain in the neck) and she was more than happy to dive in to the details, verify uncertainties, and get back to me promptly. Steve Mathew was/is extremely helpful! He found us better rates than we were receiving previously. Response time is quick, he pays attention to detail and, most importantly, he does an excellent job of explaining the policies. We really appreciate all of his effort.

I wanted to send a 5 Star Review and shout out for your employee, Janice Sanford. Janice rocks! She is always polite, and has a refreshing way about her, she is on the ball and has been so conscientious in reminding me of items I need to give attention to, and when we I have asked a question or made a request, it is done immediately, but also efficiently.
In fact, so much so, that I said to my husband this morning, I would feel so confident having Janice manage more of our insurance needs.
I have never met her personally, but when I get an email from her or I have talked to her on the phone, I feel so comfortable with her, and I have respect for the way she treats me as a customer.
In a world where 'customer service' is a fading concept, Janice is definitely one of the bright stars I have had the pleasure to deal with this past year. Janice Sanford helped me set up commercial vehicle insurance, and in the proccess she saved me money. I now pay less then I previously did, with a personal policy from a different broker in town. She was helpful, informative, and very quick with getting back to me.
