My name is safaa belhaj I visit this clinic it was very bad experience worst clinic ever, rude receptionist the clinic is not clean and the doctor was very rude his name is Joel Augstin, the doctor refuse to help me he asked me to look for family doctor and told me I will do favour to send you to specialist for this time! I don’t know why they open walk in if they do not help patients I will never go there again if I could give them less than one star I will do.not recommended

Got told on the phone for walk in’s the wait would be a little over a hour, hour comes along they say another 30-40 minutes. Currently been waiting almost 2.5 hours. Only 1 doctor working. Don’t get me wrong the staff is nice but it’s just ridiculous to keep being told a time and waiting longer and longer. Very unimpressed. Then asked the doctor how long he told me ANOTHER HOUR for 3 patients ahead of me, then simply said well if you’re busy you can come back tomorrow! After I sat there for almost 3 hours

I can't say enough about Dr. Dhanoa and the team at Westmount. When my doctor retired, I was eventually taken over as a patient of Dr. Dhanoa's after a couple in between from her to him, I've rarely felt like a person in a doctor's office - I get that they are busy and want to see lots of people but he honestly takes the time to discuss and diagnose anything I've seen him for. He recently along with his admin team went above and beyond to get me a prescription where I could not come into the office due to being Covid positive and turned a very stressful day into a smooth one. Thank you to Westmount Medical!

As one does, I ignored pain for a good amount of time before seeking medical attention. Having called 811 and being advised to seek a medical doctor within the next four hours, I was already feeling anxious about going to the clinic. Plus, I usually go to another clinic a little closer to home, but as fortune would have it, they were closed. Westmount was the next closest location. I was prepared to wait a long time due to being a walk in, but got in and out including perscriptions within 40 minutes. The nurses at the front were wonderful, patient, and kind, ALL while training a new staff, calming people down, and dealing with less than kind language from some other walk ins. Dr. Augustin was extremely professional. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Thank you for my experience this week.

All the staff and doctors in this clinic are the best, especially Dr. Ahmed who always listens to my entire family's concerns and always gives the best medical care. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this clinic to everyone.

I have appointment here last Saturday (April 20,2020) for my daughter check up. Actually this is my family clinic ever since. I love to go here because Everything is excellent here at Westmount medical clinic.receptionist, nurse and doctor. They are friendly, they assist you very good and accommodated to me and all patients. And also The clinic is so clean and everything is excellent. That’s why I recommend this Westmount medical clinic to all my friends and all relatives.

5 star on this clinic. I went here today with my mom she had an appointment with Dr. Ahmed. The clinic was so busy only one girl on the front accommodating all the patient poor girl she was so busy on the phone for non stop ringing but she can still smile and welcoming to us. Dr. Ahmed is a great doctor very easy to talk to. I strongly recommended this place.

The walls in this place are paper thin, therefore your personal privacy isn't respected. You can hear every patient in the rooms beside you, and they can hear you. Despite having closed doors and walls, they might as well place you all in the same room together. I informed the doctor of this and he denied the claim adamantly even though I could recite the entire medical history of the person in the next room.
If you make an appointment be prepared to wait a minimum of 30 minutes (but more likely over an hour) past your appointment because they're never on time.
Furthermore, on an inconsistent basis a nurse may come in and interview you about your concerns, but never introduce themselves or their title. You'll then have to tell that exact information to the doctor anyways.
Dr. Ahmed consistently ignored my medical concerns for back pain and never provided any substantial medical interventions.
This is a poor quality medical clinic, if you have real concerns go to someplace more professional.

I am not surprised that Dr Dhanoa is rated in the top 10 for doctors in Edmonton on ratemds.com. I discovered him purely by chance. I had been going to the same family doctor for almost 30 years since I was a little child. When she retired, she sold her practice and I stayed with Lendrum medical. Needless to say their turnaround with doctors was many over the years. Most didn't live up till the high expectations that my childhood Doctor had set. After awhile i started to just go to near by mediclinics since there was no advantage to having a family doctors anymore. I did decide to go back to Lendrum on day since the issues i was having had been well documented there over my life and that's when I got to see another "new" doctor. That's when I met Dr Dhanoa. Most of the doctors there were trying to rush you out so they can make their daily quota for the corporate practice. Not Dr Dhanoa, you instantly knew he couldn't care less about the time and cared, really cared, about your issue. Not only that but he is a very knowledgeable doctor and you can tell he still keeps up with new treatments and procedures.when he knows its not his specialty, without asking, he will forward you to the proper specialist. When he had to "move" to a new practice, I gladly, without hesitation, followed him. Lendrum wouldn't give me his knew location. I think they knew most patients wanted to follow him for obvious reasons. Their huge loss was Westmount's massive gain. No matter where Dr Dhanoa goes, I will always follow. He's number 1 in my books.

Horrible service. I had booked a time and when I came in, they didn't accept me. Advice from doctor was not helpful.

Dr. Ahmed Abughalwa has been my Family Physician for the past 5 years. His care and attention to detail are exceptiona. In fact, he has saved my life twice now. The first time was detection of heart disease on a chest scan following a mammogram and referral to the cardiac team at RAH, which led to appropriate medication, an implantable cardioverter defibrillator and subsequent resolution of my heart issues. The second was treatment of a lump on my leg which he expedited by doing a biopsy and getting a pathology report which confirmed melanoma. He coordinated immediate referral to a dermatologist and oncologist who are now treating the melanoma with immunotherapy. All of this during the COVID-19 pandemic when access to care has been a challenge for many, Many thanks

Sign says accepting new patients, but they are not. Looked at this place before I came and was confident I would receive service. That was not the case, they were very rude. Not only was she angry we even stepped through the door but she was not working with us or listening. Didn't do anything to help. I strongly do not recommend this place. It's a waste of time and energy. Really. Don't go.

Quickest service I have ever seen at a Walk-in Clinic and very friendly and professional staff.

I've been through a lot of doctors, the staff I've seen here have all been great, it gets busy sometimes though and can be a wait. Like most clinics.

My GP works out of here and is fantastic, 5 stars for him. All points detracted are for the vague, misinformed and incredibly inept communication from the administrative staff. If you enjoy the chop-shop (maximize that billing of the government and ignore the impact it has on patients) style of medical care. The particular brand of irresponsible and capitalist billing forward kind of service that you receive from the medi-centre, then this is the place for you. Bonus points dolled out for the time I had to sign a third party release consent form for my own medical information, as if I, the recipient, am not the patient who is legally allowed access to their chart.

Extremely sexist and judgemental enviornment. You will also be kept waiting 40 minutes even when you've booked an appointment.

The staff was so helpful! I called to check wait times and they were able to book me an appointment! The Doctor was friendly and cared. When I needed to go back for a Drs note, they were just as friendly again. Glad to live near this medical clinic

Worst Clinic Ive visited so far. Called earlier to ask if I can book an appointment. Recepionist said no but you can do a walkin in a rushed and impatient tone. I SPECIFICALLY ASK CAN I WALKIN AT 4: 30PM. She said oh yeah.so I logged out of work earlier, took the bus and went there. Guest what? Blonde receptionist said WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING WALKINS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SO I JUST WENT THERE FOR NOTHING?

I met Dr. Ahmed after my doctor of Twenty years closed his Medical Corporation. I gave him a list of my current medical conditions and an accounting of my long term medication schedule. He seemed anxious and demanded to know what I did. I told him I was on long term disability and he was not impressed. He kept asking what reason I had to live. After arguing for 10 minutes that I did have a reason to live to no avail, he finally glanced at my meet and greet letter and spotted I was taking a benzodiazepine for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. ”OHHhh. Your taking Clonazepam! ” he said with disdain. Dr. Ahmed then boldly opinionated about all the reasons he felt I was inadequate and lived an unworthy life for another 15 minutes. I was better informed about him than he was about me.

Was going to come here before seeing all the bad reviews and horror stories.

No thanks I'll go somewhere else.

The first Saturday I went the doctor had already left during their open hours. The second Saturday I went I had to wait 3 hours. I'm going to try a different clinic next time.

Very good environment, the people working always talk to me and make me feel welcomed and not as nervous. Never a long wait time

My experiences here have always been positive. Doesn't feel like a walk-in clinic. My appointment is always on time.

Very well run clinic. Dr Ahmed is great, caring and super friendly. The receptionists are all friendly and efficient as well. Very clean. I highly recommend.
