Westmount Shopping Centre

It's a mall. It had what I needed but could use a revamp. Looks a little tired but maybe it's just the holidays wearing on it?

The owner should advertise and hold more events. And stop charging the local vendors so much for rent. I belive then the entire mall flourish. The people that work there right now are all so wonderful

Few stores, but what's there seems clean and well maintained. There's an entrance to Safeway through the mall which is appreciated.

(This Safeway location is $$$ for some reason. Just FYI.)

The mall is eerie though. Not enough light, and what there is seems odd. It feels like you're stuck in the 80's or something. Like a non-dangerous Stranger Things.

I'll come again, but I genuinely don't like walking around inside there.

Today was treated like leper asking for my vax pass at the food court. Went home with cold food!

So far I've only shopped on the outside stores. I haven't gone in the mall part. Parking lot is gritty you'll meet people there.

A little bit of everything. It has a walmart, home depot, safeway and shoppers drug mart among other businesses.

The shopping centre has a good variety of stores hardware store pet store pharmacy grocery store and Walmart across the street is the Library. There are several restaurants Boston Pizza McDonald's Tim Hortons everything you need in one stop

Went to churches chicken
Always a disappointment it's wait for chicken. Do you not know what fast food means. Also quicker to serve take out companies

Lost some stores, still easily accessible. Lots of parking. Stores that they have all seem to be doing good

The mall isn't bad or horrible so to say. It just that there's not too many stores there, does have a lot of medical places/offices. Part of the issue with some places not being inside the main mall area (Home Depot, Walmart and others are outside but connected to main building part) is that the retail rent is quite high, so with that not a lot of businesses stay or can come and reside there.

Went to Walmart only. It is a smaller retail Walmart with good service and a good assortment of merchandise.

Went for A few groceries at Safeway store in Westmount mall. They have learned stalls across from the entrance for seniors only. A first! Our cashier was very accommodating with issuing a rain check, when we used it later in the week we saves $12.00 on a roast.sweet, the rain check has two more roasts available to us due to lack of inventory!

As a resident of Westmount, I have been shopping here since 2006. I get my prescriptions at the Safeway, do my banking at the Scotia, get my glasses at the lenscrafters, etc. The dollarama is good, and it's really nice to have a home Depot and Walmart so close to home (though the Walmart will be moving to Kingsway next year). I really like the video game stores as well.

Some of the newer small businesses leave a lot to be desired, and don't really offer anything worthwhile. I honestly don't know how they're able to keep their doors open.

The biggest improvement that could be made to this mall would be to open back up the second floor. It used to be a movie theatre, and it's plenty of valuable square footage that could be used for more stores and to increase foot traffic beyond just high-school students and elderly folks. If they opened a second floor and offered something that helps set them apart from the other malls, they could absolutely attract more customers. Other improvements that could be made would be updating the mall to be more modern, and expanding the food court. Don't know if it'll ever happen as it seems the owner doesn't really want to change anything about it. But one can dream

Very rude staff and they don't do anything to help you to come back to this location. It's a very uncomfortable shopping experience.

Double uselessness at Scotiabank. I went to the branch to cash a cheque with the anticipation that no holds would be put on it because I was going in person. I had history on my side; the last time I did this, no hold was put on the account. Well lo and behold, well, now I find out this can't be done. AND I asked to have funds transferred from my chequing account to an account I had to temporarily access last week. Well, they put it into the wrong account. Totally brain dead.

Good for essentials only. They did not have the basic baking necessities as the other Walmart’s.

One stop shop 'till you drop. Food medicine, electronics, food court, banking and lottery, jewelery and smittys is hiring. Not to forget home depot and Mark's. Eh! @westmountmall.

It's really only good for when you need to stop quick and get some milk and munchies. The clothing section sucks for adults and kids. It's like shopping in a cave because the lighting is so dim. I only shop here if I absolutely have to because it's close to home.

Accessibility to some stores are from outside only. Overall everything is there that is needed for all your shopping needs.

Pretty empty on Saturday afternoons, May be post COVID effect. Typical mall. Safeway and scotia bank there.

Simple but quiet which my friend and I like it. We eat our good peacefully friendly people, easy access to the place we want to shop and cheap price too. My friend and I enjoy shopping there.

Many amenities have left, resulting in the lack of patrons. Available stores provide select services

It great to be here where I work and shop, it's nice to be at Yellowhead Ave.beside the 149th St, its nice to be here.

The two level walmart is very annoying and inconvenient for someone who just has to run in quick and has a 1 year old so getting around isn't easy.

It is a good Walmart you find good quality things there however I am giving it a three because of the grocery section like they don't have Quaker muffins or good powdered lemonade like the Walmart in Albany down 127 street

If course Mark's only had a limited number of pieces but, basically it was a waste of time going there for the door crasher items.

Safeway Westmount is a great place to shop. Great selection with an awesome deli. Aisles are easy to access and wide enough to do your browsing and shopping. The staff are very friendly, quick and efficient. I highly recommend stopping in for any grocery needs.

You can get just about anything in this center. They have excellent hearing and visual care centers here, and the food court has the staples. I've never seen this place dirty, and the staff are all very helpful and polite. This center is located within fast walking distance of a public library.

Don't Forget, it is the First Mall in Edmonton, close to the Ross Shep High School #1 in its District, Central to Everything lots to keep you Spending your money On High quality food &Goods &Services. A MUSIC STORE Best of it's kind for miles, Cell phone Store with excellent repair and accessories etc. Check it says me Hurricane. New Manager @ Tony Romas Historic Restaurant. Dollar Store that is numer 1 store trading in the Stock market. Etc hearing Dr, Eye Dr, And new nail salon + New expansion

Good Mall. But only 2 food stalls open. Subway and Taco Time. Not many other places open. Had to go there to checkout Walmart as I needed a Brita water filter.

Super friendly and nice staff. Lots of parking, great little mall. There are lots of food choices in and outside of the mall. They did some nice renovations as well.

Service with a smile and clean i would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for the hidden 2nd floor i wasn't aware of.they should have some kind of eye catching sign or a way to let customers know.

You guys rock with having to deal with the lovely customers that come in, keep up the good work

There is lots of different stores here, probably has one of the worst Walmarts I've been to though. It just looks run down a bit

What happened to this place? Eyesore. No stores, dead mall. Couple box stores (home Depot, Safeway).
Very dangerous large parking lot set up. Vagrants, angry drivers. Very very dangerous pedestrian/ bike trail on St Albert trail alongside mall, drivers entering and exiting pretending to be oblivious to pedestrians

Has a few good shops just wish they had an indoor walk way to Walmart and Marks for when its cold and that the theater was still around

Unfortunately the same is happening to all the malls 5 stars to you guys that keep going in these tough time

It's an easy mall to get around.wide isles so 2 or 3 people can walk side by side. They have very nice washrooms, very clean the janitorial staff is doing something right. There are a few different stores there that I shop at even though we live 40 km away. This mall reminds me of a great place to take up an early morning walk in. There's a restaurant with entrances on the outside as well as inside. Really what do you actually need in a mall to shop there? There's a grocery store.a drug store.a jewelry store.and a dollar store to name a few. I think there's a need though for an extra place to open in the food court but yet you can still get a coffee.burger or Chinese food there so all's good. So yeah.why not drop by and take a walk you may be totally surprised at what you'll end up buying!

The mall is kind of dead and could use some better stores IMO. There are several medical offices and it is anchored by a Safeway, Dollarama and Shoppers Drug Mart. There is also a food court which only seems busy when it is lunch time for the high school students across the street.

Went to the place that Threads your brows, etc. She's fantastic! She dies a terrific job. EVERYTIME! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
