This review is for the restroom.

I'm a trucker and I see alot of questionable washrooms in my travels. But this is one I'm always happy to stop at. The attendant does a great job keeping up with the traffic, it's warm and very clean.everything you could ask for from a washroom. One of the best ones in alberta, right along side "flying J"!

Very clean restroom. Friendly staff. Cute little restaurant across the parking lot. Easy to get on and off the highway. Lovely picnic area.

I stop here quite often when driving from Calgary to Fort McMurray. It's very convenient being right off the highway. It's also always clean.

2 things when I went to the washroom, there was a lady in the middle stall on a ladder painting around a light on the ceiling. Couldn't that be done when it's not busy? That darn restaurant is never open!

A perfect place for a quick pit stop. To be honest there should be more along highway 2. I know there are lots of towns along the highway but the detours are not always worth it. This one and the one near Airdrie, south bound are perfect. It's well maintained and spacious and has enough parking spots. The ice cream shop is an added bonus.

It is perfect for everything i mean for overnight staying, picnic, for restaurant, for washroom.

The little restaurant has an amazing homemade menu! Very filling, and decent prices. Worth the stop!

Christina had just finished mopping and I left some footprints so I offered to clean them up and she said she would just mop again. I felt bad but she was so pleasant and understanding. Great job Christina!

They always keep this place clean. Everytime I come here someone is cleaning and the staff is very friendly.

Busy bathroom, hard to always keep clean. Nice loop to picnic in, away from the bathroom crowd. Food place next door.

Hey don't go here this place has not been open in ages so sad but you can use the washrooms just no other amenities

Though It's a rest area, mainly people just stop for using washroom. But surrounding has a beautiful park with picnic benches. Had a wonderful experience.

It appeared to be a busy spot during our quick visit one morning. The rest area was clean, staff was conducting janitorial duties while we were there. There is a small place to get food and snacks. A good size parking area for commercial and private vehicles.

Nice clean safe place to stop for a stretch and restroom. Alot of room just to the east for RV's.

Was going to get a puffed wheat square but they were hard as rocks, went for a rice crispies square instead as they seemed a bit softer. Stale. Had one bite, threw out window for the birds. Way overpriced for garbage.

Gross cook didn't wash hands. Oh my goodness. I just stopped in here, its been a couple years since I've stopped at the snack shack restaurant. The cook was reciving a food delivery when we walked in, he went from carrying boxes to touching raw beef patties for our burgers, to taking payment from another customer. Then repeatedly touching his face, mouth and beard, mask resting below his chin. He then took our payment and fixed our burgers. The whole time no mask and no hand washing. Not once did the cook wash his hands. Thats just gross. Also the counters were pretty dirty with crumbs, ice cream ect. I won't be coming back.

I'll be stopping at this place for years it's always clean and there's always somebody there maintaining it it's a good place to rest for a few minutes

Cool guy working inside Native like me which was cool! I don't get to see a lot of natives in Vancouver so it was nice welcome!

Always stop here to use the public facilities. Clean everytime. Nice place to walk outside from driving a long distance.

Thank god there are places like this one to be build on the highway side, incase your stomach says other wise and the nest rest stop wont be a while. This place is well cleaned and maintain to those who seek a nature calling time.and the park is nice to get your legs stretched out to those who have been on the road for a while or perhaps days.

Had dinner at the little restaurant. It was clean the lady working was super friendly and the food was pretty good.

Felt completely comfortable using the rest room as it was very clean and staff was on top of keeping it thatway

This place is well situated as a rest stop. Spacious separate building with restroom facilities. Cleanliness is a must here as they have full time maintenance people there at all times. You will not find a better kept facility than this. Jaybea.

Great location for proper rest and a convenient, safe and enjoyable family pit stop. I wish there were more infrastructure like that along the Q2

A nice place to stop and stretch your legs. Clean washrooms and a park like picnic area. However, I am deducting a star for no drinking water available at the site, otherwise a top notch facility.

It is a good place to relax if you on the long run and do not want to stop in Edmonton.
In that place missing a gas stop.

Great place to stop over from Calgary to anywhere north. They have a decent toilet for both male and female. Not really clean but better than outhouse. Toilet not smelly and in heated building.proper building.
No gas station or petrol station. But there is one shopt selling treats, goodies and of course coffee.
Lots of parking.

Pretty nice rest area. Lot of space and you can cook or eat food in the tables. You can also park inside near the table. The only thing is there are some mosquitoes. So use some repellent before long stay.

Bad place apparently they don’t even care about it, disgusting male restrooms. Only use it if it’s necessary

Under new ownership apparently, I’m glad to say as the service and the food both seem improved.

Great rest area. The washrooms are usually clean, access to Highway 2 is easy and safe, with plenty of visibility. I haven't used the restaurant other than ice cream but it is apparently of very good quality. The public areas are always as clean and tidy as any public space can be and there are plenty of benches and areas to exercise the kids and animals. All in all, a thoroughly pleasant experience with every stop. In addition, there are three Ingress Portals and Pokestops too to satisfy even the gamers that stop here.

Smelly washrooms but that's coz everyone isn't used to living in civilization.
Gets the job done though. A good facility that needs to be used responsibly.
