Love this place! They have everything you need, especially if you use it a lot. I love the whole slabs of deli meat and cheese you can buy, much cheaper if you have a meat slicer to do the labour yourself! They aren't as much of a bargain as they used to be selection was less, produce looked a bit beaten up.but otherwise, still a good place for specific things. They take PC rewards as well, which is a bonus. The flat carts could use some TLC though.
I bought containers from this branch but without covers and there were a lot of sizes for the covers so I asked an employer there and she recommended the correct size for my containers but when I went home and used these boxes with the covers I found that the size of the cover is not the right size for the boxes. So I returned back to the store to exchange these covers with the right size and I explained this to the manager she told me that the don't exchange an open item but I told her that this is not my fault it is the employer fault. Her response that this cannot be happened and their employers don't mistake (so I am lying for some covers cost $6!) This manager is Janet. She was talking with me as we are in a random store not a big store. She doesn't deserve this position even she don't know that from the rules of her position is that customer is always right. But she didn't even speak to me with respect I don't recommend this store.
Unfortunately one of the few places without mobility scooters. I still have to give them 5. I asked one of the employees to retrieve something for me and he was more than happy to oblige. Certainly saved me from walking all the way to the back of the store and destroying my back. Thank you wholesale club your gentleman employee was awesome. I usually find staff very helpful here.
I love wholesale club. Buy buy buy. I get goodies for the kids here at the beginning of the summer so they don't spend too much at the convenience store.
Curious how the store on the south side has caffeine free diet pepsi but this store does not. Staff have changed all the rude employees have left i enjoy shopping in the store now.
Shameful! We could get another storm tonight but the parking lot is untouched from the stuff of over a week ago, lugging your cart through the slush and snow is an adventure.
Good selection and well stocked store. But for the love of all things good, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just put in a 10 items or less line, or even more checkout staff! Even a self scanner for 10 or less items. Not everybody buys $600 shopping carts and it REALLY sucks getting stuck for 15 minutes behind someone buying 86 different things on a trolly, when you have a box of noodles and some pop, with 2 checkouts open.
I was quite disappointed, they have a lot of handicapped parking but no handicapped services to be able to shop. I went to shop with my mom and ended up going to Costco because they provide scooters!
I purchased a coffee container a week ago and today I wanted to return it as it had an operating issue. I and my wife called the store before reaching out as my home is 40 minutes driving distance from home. We were informed that if it is within 14 days they can check the visa statement (if we don't have a valid receipt) and refund for so. We went to the store and a lady, working at the cash counter, informed us that she needs to check with the manager. Then they asked us to come next day as the department manager was not on duty. I asked to speak to the manager on duty to explain my problem that how much we have to drive and we came to the store after receiving information over the phone to come by. The manager came and informed us "I can't help you with so as last time I did for someone and I got lots of HEADACHE, so you need to come back tomorrow. " The answer seemed inappropriate to me as it gives headache that's why you don't want to help us, that's not a constructive answer. Does it seem like I don't want to work that's why come tomorrow? On top of that, the manager was not wearing a mask properly, which can be observed in the CCTV camera of the store. During the whole conversation, HE WAS WEARING MASK BELOW THE NOSE. I asked him to wear his mask properly but he began to leave the place without fixing the mask so I took out my cellphone and took his picture but still, he didn't bother to wear his mask properly. Then I started recording a video and was asked politely to check why he was not wearing the mask and he ran away. The other staff was also not asking him to wear his mask properly. After all this mess I decided to leave the store and see what I found, the same manager was working with other staff members, and still, he is not wearing his mask properly and not maintaining social distancing. He did not apologize for his service and act of not wearing a mask properly. He was even repeating the same behavior after the complaint, seems like he doesn't care or does not have care of any consequences. I have the video recording and a photo with the date and time, which clearly shows the behavior. It is for wholesale club's responsibility to maintain a healthy environment in their store. I AM WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE BEFORE I BEGIN OFFICIAL complaint WITH CITY OF EDMONTON AND Environmental Public Health, ALBERTA HEALTH AGENCY.
I was in there for very specific items, so did not have time to really peruse. I will go back to look at pricing and selection for sure when we have a bit more time. For what I was looking for though, there was an impressive selection and cost was very reasonable.
The Shipping/receiving department are the worst people to deal with. Ignorant to the truckers who are just trying to do their job. They say one thing and then do another. The disrespect they show to anyone who doesnt work there is unbelievable. I thought they were just being rude to me but also to another driver trying to ask someone a question. We both just shook our heads in disbelief. I'd give zero stars if I could.
Say there is a sale and then don't have the product. It is a way to get you in the store. No raichecks and no info on when there will be more coming in.
Horribly rude staff! A store manager who is always on a conference call. The staff need better customer service traning for sure and need to stop blaming Covid for their lack of customer service.
Really good prices on wholesale food, probably on par with Costco, can find really good food service items and good cookware, will only give 4 stars because sometimes the cashiers are unbelievably rude like your shopping there has greatly inconvenienced them, its like they only want to help someone who is buying 50 of 1 thing, not someone who has done their groceries there
Shopping here is good. As you walk in they have sanitizers for the carts as well as your hands. Their selections are great however some things come in too large a packaging. Their produce is fresh and good. As well the lighting in the coolers is good so you can really see what you are choosing.
Excellent place to shop. Always staffed according to busy times and I have never waited in too long a line. Better than Costco for sure! This is my go to place generally for food. Many items are a great price and some better than the superstore.
Not very happy with management.had a interview it went well.he said he is interviewing 4 and hiring 3 I will probably be one of them. I'll call you sat or Sunday on the following Thursday I called him he said he hasn't made up his mind yet. 2 weeks later still waiting for the call.very disappointed in the manager.but it's his loss for i would of been a excellent employee but to shop here is great.to bad he runs the store this way.but it still won't stop me from shopping there.cashiers are great.very friendly.i do have my favorites.so to shop here I give it 5 stars. I'm just disappointed I didn't get the job.
Busy store, prices are average - I am not a member, maybe members get "deals". Staff seem defeated and demoralized. Are they beaten regularly? Nevertheless it has some bargains if you are looking for quantities and large format items.
Staff are friendly and has way better prices than most grocery stores, go for the naturally imperfect vegetables/30% stickers to see some real savings!
It’s alright. I do been shopping here for over a decade for my restaurant and the prices just seem to go up more and more every time I visit. The selections are decent thought, that’s why I come back
I called and said I need to get some ribeye and The guy told me so I drove all the way across the city when I get there there wasn’t any and he said you didn’t ask if we have some you just asked him how much it is
