I am thrilled with the service we received from JP, our plumbing technician, as well as from the administrative office. We were unable to be home at the time the service needed to done. The team worked together with us to make the job possible to be looked into as well as done in the same visit.

JP was able to call us, send photos of the problem and advise us what needed doing. We were able to make a decision rather quickly and the job got done. This happened a month ago and we have not had any further problem with leaking pipes.

Technician was good, kept us informed and easy to deal with. Office contact was poor, called multi times over a few days during office hours. Left messages with no response. Price estimated over the phone for a basic HW tank install was wrong.

J. P has been at my place at least a couple of times. He was pleasant, communicated clearly, and found solutions to my plumbing issues. I am very happy with his overall performance at my place. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Shay came to our house during the Christmas holidays and was excellent in getting our heat and hot water back on. He fixed the problem, part was available and was very efficient. He did all of this even though his work day had been greatly extended. His dedication was truly appreciated. Thank you

We had an excellent experience with Wiehler! We had the pleasure of having Curtis’ expertise, he was very knowledgeable. We replaced our furnace, we were given a very fair price and it was done in a timely manner.

Maks diagnosed the problem with the IBC boiler, got our domestic hot water operating and quoted a permanent repair solution. System not properly installed to begin with and would continue to be a problem if not fixed properly. Quite complex

Chad Genier came to install our new dishwasher. He went so far above and beyond it’s difficult to know where to start. For a start the old dishwasher refused to come out. Chad stayed cool and just tried the next possibility and then the next one until it came out. Awesome patience. Then the new one wasn’t a simple install either thanks to our custom cabinets. Chad stayed way longer than I’m sure he needed to, making sure the fit was perfect. I really appreciate your time and hard work, Chad. Thank you.

Update - JP came round to fix a dripping fridge connection. Friendly guys who know what they’re doing and don’t charge the earth for it. 5 star again.

I am retired and worked as a project manager in construction. Plumber Jeff was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He is also tidy and does clean work. Important points.

He installed a period style designer toilet and provided an estimate and reviewed the valves, toilet flange and water lines for defects and leaks before proceeding. Equally important, any additional costs we’re qualified and approved.

Trade is a craft. It is truly a pleasure to watch it done properly. I highly recommend him for any residential plumbing work. No brainer.

A great job removing our old garburator that is no longer needed with the city taking stuff for composting normally put in the garburator. A really nice job re-piping the drain. Also a great job installing replacing our old kitchen faucet with a brand new one. He spend a few minute explaining how the new faucet features. Everything working properly. Great job.

I called Wiehler Plumbing and Heating to hook up my new Gas Range. There was an old gas line from the 60's behind my current electric range, so JP came and gave me a quote and had it all together pretty quickly. Had to replace and extend the line and put in a new shut off valve. They re-lit the hot water tank and checked the furnace.
Very knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. As we just started some Reno's on our newly purchased house, we will be sure to call Wiehler Plumbing and Heating again!

We have an expensive bidet toilet that nobody in Calgary knows how to service. Mike showed up and took the time to diagnose our light issue by talking directly to the manufacturer and got the necessary replacements parts ordered. Be aware that there is a service and diagnostic fee that is very expensive before you engage. Steve came back and installed the light…good job.

I contacted Wiehler Plumbing and Heating for a faucet repair and replacement recently. I am very satisfied with their service. Appreciated the text message confirmation of the appointment and also received a call ahead of the appointment time from the technician (JP) to give me a heads up on ETA. JP was efficient, very professional, gave excellent customer service and I really appreciated him following up on the faucet repair after the initial job was done. I would definitely use Wiehler Plumbing and Heating again for any further plumbing related issues.

We've used the team at Wiehler Mechanical a few times and have been impressed with their professionalism, quality workmanship and customer service every time.

We first had them into our home for a general service call in the fall to check all our plumbing and heating systems. During that call, they discovered a potential problem with our furnace and recommended we change it out before winter hit. As we had prior experience with furnaces quitting in January, we decided not to roll the dice and had the team install a new furnace. The first furnace had a defect so instead of just fixing that defect, they switched out the entire furnace, ensuring we would have a worry-free winter ahead. (And it was).

I love the service features that not only tell us when the technician has been dispatched to our location, but also sends a picture and tells me a bit about the individual who is about to arrive at my home. They were good with my excited dog too:)

More recently, we had the team do some work for us at our rental condo downtown and they were able to perform the service call the same day as we put in the request, even though it was not an emergency. As we had them onsite, we asked them to inspect all the plumbing fixtures so we could proactively budget for any additional maintenance and repairs that would be needed.

Finally, we had the team install a new AC system for another rental property. This was a challenge as the supply of AC units was significantly impacted with the COVID 19 pandemic. So, unfortunately, the unit was not available to be installed in June so our tenants had to endure another hot summer without the comfort of the AC unit, but we were able to have one installed in September when units were available. The team informed us as soon as they knew there was a supply problem and held their prices / quote for the fall installation. Our tenants look forward to enjoying AC the summer of 2022!

Great company to deal with. I like how they send a text with the picture of the person you have an appointment with prior to them coming to your house. It provides ease of knowing who’s coming to your house and that you’re letting in the correct person. My tech JP was great to deal with, he was very knowledgeable, quick and came prepared. Thank you.

We needed to coordinate the service with the city. This was disclosed with our booking. We were assured someone who be at our home at the appointed time. The plumber had plenty of time to make it on time, as visualized on the company’s location tracker.

The plumber was unnecessarily LATE. He lacked professionalism and repeatedly made illogical excuses for his clearly unnecessary tardiness. This caused the city technician to leave in the middle of the plumber’s service call. If the plumber had arrived even 10 minutes earlier, we would have running water right now. We have a baby. We haven’t had running water for over 4 hours. Now we are waiting for the city to come. By the time they arrive, we will be without running water for over 5 hours. This is 2021. THANKS A LOT.

We have used Wiehler for our hot water tanks and now for our furnace. The quality of the work and the professionalism of the technicians was exceptional. Both Mike and Liam took the time to answer many questions and concerns. I will note that Liam was probably the most polite and conscientious professional we have had in our home. The company is very lucky to have him. The ease to book appointments and the comfort in knowing they will show up when scheduled is a strength for their company. The responsiveness of the staff when we had concerns was also what you would hope for in a company. We look forward to a long relationship and after this horribly hot summer plan on hiring them to put in an air conditioning unit. I can almost guarantee that our review of that work will also be 5 stars.

Greg the plumber arrived promptly and readily applied his expertise to identify, then fix the mystery leak in the bathroom tub. He was courteous, efficient, and did a great job. Actually replacing old plastic venting tubing and attaching proper and safe long term metal tubing/venting to a brand new dryer. Job perfectly done and a lot of care went into the details of the whole job. Liam Greaves and his colleague/assistant completed a really great job. Liam and I would definitely call them again for work. They also were on time, polite and cleaned up everything when finished; definitely left the place better and safer than they found it!

Chad and Randal came to remove old wall oven and install new wall oven. Did a great job. Weren’t heavy handed with either product into and out of designated wall space. On time, good communication before and after install via text. Both friendly, courteous and got the job done. We have their business card now and hope to use in the near future for plumbing etc.
Wiehler recommendation via Trail Appliances so first time we have used their services. Very Happy and recommend.

We had a Trail Appliance Bosch dishwasher installed by St John Plumbing. The dishwasher did not drain properly and a second plumber came and said it was the dishwasher pump. JP from Wiehler Mechanical arrived with a new dishwasher but ascertained that there was ~10’ of unnecessary drain tubing and fixed the issue. All works well now!
BTW Trail Appliance was very responsive to this problem.

Showed on time and explained the issue to us and showed us an estimate. Then they fixed it, no fuss no muss

Just had my third great service experience with Wiehler Mechanical for a plumbing issue in my 'century' home. Shay arrived on time, was polite, considerate, professional, and very helpful and knowledgeable. He confirmed that the float of our sump pump had stopped working and he promptly replaced the unit. Consistent with the excellent standard in my past two experiences, Shay was conscientious about removing shoes on carpeted areas, disposing of old unit appropriately and left everything clean and well functioning. He was also very patient nd calming with my nervous, protective dog! The price was reasonable, and I felt confident with Shay's knowledge and workmanship. I would strongly recommend Shay, and this company and feel comfortable calling them again in the future.

Liam Greaves of Whiehler Mechanical performed our annual furnace service. He did and an outstanding job. He is a very polite and respectful worker.

Wiehler Mechanical did a furnace vent redirection job for our two furnaces.
Their staff, Mohammed and Diego were very respectful and hard working. Mohammed did an excellent job explaining the process to us and working late to finish the job.
We were very pleased with the project.

We have used the Wiehler team on three separate occasions for Furnace installation, washer/dryer plumbing and duct work and hook up - on all occasions we were very happy with the fact that the alway showed up on time, the work was completed in a very professional manner and they treated our home with respect.

I have used Wiehler for many services.they are always on time, efficient, cost effective and get the job done right.fantastic service.

Technician was great but office staff were poor.i paid for services upon delivery but continue to receive invoices so their accounting department processes appear to be flawed. In several interactions with the main customer service person I felt that they lacked customer service skills. They were late on the initial service call but know one let me know this was going to occur. They installed a faulty part but when I called to have it fixed the reception person acted like I should bend my schedule to accommodate them. I am very surprised with the bad service I have received given the positive things that I have heard about them.

I can highly recommend Weihler. First, they kindly adjusted their schedule on short notice because our dishwasher broke a couple of days before we were to host a dozen family members in our home and we needed a next-day installation. Second, the installer (Maks) was very knowledgeable and explained our options and gave some helpful pointers. He did a great job on the installation and is working perfectly.

Liam and team member were incredible. We requested a last minute installation of a dryer that needed a new vent and duct work in our home. Liam and his team member went above and beyond finding a wonderful solution, and even rebuilt an exit vent cover to match with the exterior of our town house.
