Delicious pastries and cute outdoor seating area. The coffee was just okay but it was a fun place to stop while in Banff. The line was long but took about 10 minutes to go through.
Food is really good no complain. But the young folks who works here (most likely from UK or Australia) kind of of rude. They doesn’t know how behave like Canadians. Otherwise I would give five stars.
Took 30 minutes to wait for a sandwich which was stolen and then continued to wait for another to be made. Not the staff's issue, just a shop management issue. Staff were great:) Had to add an hour to parking meter because of this. Not too stoked and don't want to come back
Coffee was great. Croissants were great. Lattes were great. Grilled cheese was great. Vibe was great. The service was great. The berry jam was great. The view and the people watching were great. My family thought it was great.
Perfect place to pop in for a quick breakfast pastry while in Banff. Does get busy/will have a line but felt it moved quickly! If you don’t try the ham & cheese croissant you are missing out… unreal. I’ll be thinking of them for awhile and waiting until I can go back!
We were in Banff four four days, and went to Wild Flour four times! Their egg sandwiches were delicious and just filling enough before a hike. All of the pastries were amazing, and combined different fruits and grains than what I usually see. The coffee is perfect to start the day, or cure a hangover!
Good coffee but be prepared to wait in line and wait a while for coffee. Think they need a different system / setup. And the barista girls don’t seem so friendly.
This place is so good we went twice during our one week stay. The second time we went we tried to get extra pastry to bring on the road and they were sold out so fast!
We ordered the cranberry twist and the cinnamon morning bun with lemon cream (I think that was the name?) and those two were our favorites. I think they change up the menu often because we couldn't get the morning bun the second day
The chocolate croissant was huge but didn't have too much chocolate, and the fig and parmesan scone was a little on the hard side (not for everyone but I liked the flavor all the same).
The coffee is great as well, ordered flat white and latte and both was nice and strong and creamy.
This place is a must visit! Expect a line but it moves quick.
In Banff for 5 days and have been into Wild Flour every day. The drinks (dandelion 5 mushroom latte and London fog) were incredible and the food (ham and cheese, butter, pesto béchamel, almond croissants and fig Parmesan scone) were fresh and wonderful. The real shining stars here are the staff. Gary, who is calm and warm, welcomes everyone and actually sees you. If there’s a line, I assure you, it’s worth the wait.
One of the best (and largest) croissants I’ve had at a bakery/cafe. It was perfectly fresh, flaky, and buttery. The latte was quite good too. It does tend to get busy though, so you may not get a seating area.
We went here nearly every morning during our trip to Banff. Their coffee and Americanos are wonderful. Baked goods are delicious. They have a nutty caramel twist that is so delicious it just melts in your mouth. Muffins are also really good. Egg sandwich is large enough to share for two before a big day of hiking or skiing.
To start, the cashier was very rude, cutting me off constantly as I was trying to order. I ordered a "morning Cinnabon" and a hot chocolate to go. The hot chocolate was basically flavoured water and the "morning Cinnabon" they gave me was either something completely different or NOTHING like what was on the display. For a place with so many good review I would at least expect them to be able to make a hot chocolate.
My soup was awesome. My coffee very good. I must have arrived at a bad time. The tables weren't cleaned to sit at and I found it very confusing to know where I was to wait. I didn't know why the gal just set a takeout cup in front of me & took off without letting me know the process. Oh, I guess I was to get my own? Where is it? Is there a lid? It seemed very disorganized.
Great coffee shop in Banff! Ordered a cappuccino and could actually taste the coffee (many places the coffee is weak compared to the milk). I am very picky with my coffee so was happy to have found this place. Also, loved that they have their bakery in the back making fresh pastries and breads!
Amazing bread and pastries. Almond Croissant was the best I've ever had. The coffee was a solid 4/5. The venue was average, bit cold and not much character.
Really great Sandwhiches, Focaccia and of course Cappuccinos. We enjoyed the food here so much we went back the next day! The staff are really friendly and helpful as well.
The Café/Bakery itself is situated within a really sweet and pleasant location. They offer a great diversity of yummy treats, pastries, coffee/laté's/tea, and brunch-like items. However, my only quam with this Bakery is their store hours.
Most other bakeries/café's in banff are open until at least 5pm, with the large portion open until 7pm. Working a 8am-5pm Job, even living in Banff I do not have the luxury of eating here unless it's on the weekend. IMO, there are better bakeries/Café's in town with the same atmosphere, better location, and just as good baked goods/coffee/food. Stay away, you guys get a solid 2/5, saved only by your food.
Ordered a carrot cake for a bday, it was SO DELICIOUS. ** vegan and/or gf options available on their cakes**. Also, all the staff I spoke with were friendly and kind, I would definitely order here again in the future. Thanks friends!
Very cozy and friendly, great staff from Australia, young and cheerful. Went there a couple of times for breakfast. Take flat white and a butter croissant.
Rude staff and the coffee was horrible. We also ordered a kids hot chocolate which was served cold. So many other places in Banff I would strongly suggest saving your money.
Super adorable bakery, a must stop for anyone in Banff. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are fantastic. Staff are fun, quick, and super friendly. Perfect place for a rest from walking around town.
This cute bakery in Banff serves great coffee. I tried the iced mocha and loved it. I also tried their banana chocolate muffin and the brownie- both were decent. To be honest, I’d come back for the coffee.
My family visited Wild Flour today while we were in Banff. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious and nutritious. The atmosphere was delightful and even a little bird was eating crumbs on the floor. A pure delight to see. Great Food, Awesome Staff and even the littlest guests are welcome in. Stop in, they treat you like family. Fans from Medicine Hat AB. We will be back.
A must-stop when we're in town! Their pastries are so incredibly good. We actually forgot to eat one of them until two days later and the pastry layers were still crisp and distinct with a lovely pear and almond filling.
Loved this place! We ended up here almost every day of our trip. The coffee and food is incredible! Their breakfast sandwich was definitely my favorite part.
Lots of healthy yet tasty options for food as well as a good selection of hot or iced drinks. Paninis, focaccia, salads, and soups. Some seating inside as well as outside the outside seating looks over a really nice hidden courtyard.
Awesome cafe in Banff, always great service from these guys and Little Wild (on Banff ave.) Great place to go for delicious vegan sandwiches and treats! Probably the most options for food out if any cafe in town and everything is perfected! Always changing up the soups, sandwiches and focaccias.
Always support your local cafe and restaurant and that’s how we eneded up here. Super friendly staff, great food options and amazing food. Loved my meat sandwich and cant say enough about ham and cheese croissant. Definitely recommend this cafe
Cozy cafe with a great atmosphere. Nice place to rest your feet and enjoy a bit of brunch with delicious tea/coffee. They have a wide selection of pastries. There is seating indoors, and you can also sit outside to eat. The London Fog is so good. Also got the Soup of the Day (turned out to be Leek Potato). It comes with bread and butter. The soup was delectable.
A good place to stop for a coffee and or a quick snack/meal where everything is baked in house. There is a wide selection of treats here. The coffee is alright tasting - nothing too special but obviously better than generic coffee places ie) Tims. The service was ok. Can't go wrong with visiting a place that is local!
Every time that I stay in Banff is a must for me to go for a hot chocolate and a Breakfast Sandwich. You can order anything in their menu and is going to be delicious.
So awesome to see people in the cafe again, made me very happy to see everyone spaced out with all the appropriate protocols. And then the bread.garlic sourdough, absolutely delicious. LOVED the hot cross buns too. Coming in for more of this this week for sure, they tasted as good as my Mom's.
The best Chai Latte! They make it with the tea from Banff Tea Co. And they do know how to make it. The soup and break was great. We are so going back tomorrow.
Amazing experience in this cafe, extremely fast service. Even though there were quite a few people there, they were very fast. Very clean and cozy. Everything is on the more expensive side, but 100% worth it. One of the best bakeries I've ever been to.
One of the better bakeries I had when I was in Banff. I had a croissant which was buttery, flakey, and fresh. My sister and I also shared a painini with the fritta. It was probably one of the best breakfasts we had while on our trip. Their breads we great with lots of flavor and great for sandwiches.
Honestly the best meal we had at BANFF/Jasper. The frittata sandwich was solid. The zucchini and chocolate bread was moist and delicious. Took a sliced mini seed loaf for the road and it was fresh and delicious! Service was friendly. Coffee was so-so. Great outdoor seating options. Expect a bit of line (almost anytime of day from what we could tell).
Being generous: very good service. Pastries, bars, coffee not good enough as promoted. We got lattes, kombucha, bars and 3 kinds of muffins they where very sweet (too sweet) and not that good tasting for the price. The bar was too chewy and extra sweet, latte was poor, and kombucha was okay. For picky cafe eaters lookign for healthy option I wont recomend, look somewhere else or make your own.
Wild Flour is amazing! The food is so fresh and delicious! I went twice on a 3 day trip in Banff. I got the banana bread and yogurt with granola and fruit compote both were soooo good! I also had a hot chocolate which was wonderful! The staff are all super nice and friendly. They have free WiFi that works great! I loved it here and would definitely recommend it!
Homemade banana chocolate muffins and mochas made with actual chocolate and delicious espresso. I make a point to stop in everytime I'm in Banff. There's a reason it's always busy.
Solid breakfast for great prices. We got the chocolate croissant, morning glory muffin and frittata breakfast sandwich with bacon. They were all really good. The chocolate croissant is huge, flashy, light and buttery and could easily be a breakfast on it's own. Muffin was moist but a bit more healthy tasting than I had hoped. Frittata was really good. Not too oily, great bread, flavorful egg with bacon was nice. Highly recommended!
Very much enjoyed our time at Wild Flour when visiting Banff. For an excellent bowl of soup and freshly made bread for lunch and went back later in the week for a breakfast latte and chocolate croissant. Highly recommend!
Love the food and atmosphere. But the gentleman that was calling out orders was very rude. Asked for an additional bag which he accidentally ripped 80% of, making it unusable and yet he still handed it to us and just continued to work. So we asked him again for another one to which he gave us a look as though we were an inconvenience.
I loved this cafe so much! I wish I discovered it on the first day so that I could have breakfast there every day. I had the lunch combo - sandwich, soup and a cookie. It was delicious and all vegan. They're very vegan friendly and label everything. Definitely recommend!
I can see why this place is constantly busy every time I walk past by. I decided to try it and I was sold on this place. I ordered the mocha which was just right! It wasn't overbearingly sweet compared to mochas at other coffee establishments. The pastries were delectable too. I look forward to trying other coffee options next time I am in the Banff area.
Great sourdough toast baked freshly and The Frittata panini was delicious and something nice and different to try, especially with the fresh tomato added. Good value too!
My wife and I absolutely loved this quaint place! Very reasonable prices compared to your standard, overpriced hotel options and other local restaurants in the area. Excellent breakfast/lunch spot and awesome coffee! Even had gluten aware options, which was huge for my wife and I with our dietary restrictions. We went here three times during our week vacation in Banff! Highly recommend!
Perfect little cafe for a light breakfast and coffee!
Came here for an early morning coffee and a bite to eat. The staff were really friendly. Coffee was good and the breakfast sandwich was quite nice. There is a lot of outdoor seating.
Tip: They give a small discount for bringing your own coffee mug.
Great coffee, breakfasts and pastries. Really nice friendly and helpful staff. Very busy and difficult to get a seat inside on our visit. We noticed tables occupied by people who were drinking the free water and using the free WiFi and perhaps staff should be asking these people to vacate tables if the cafe is busy so that paying customers can sit down. Five star review for the quality of food.coffee and service!
