Wilderness Village Campground Resort

Wonderful experience! Our kids loved the pool and hot tubs! The staff were friendly and accommodating and you can't beat the fact the firewood is free! I loved that it was a quick drive to Nordegg for some hiking! We will be back!

Great place to bring the family. A bit loud at night, but everyone was having fun. Lots of amenities.

Amazing place. Very family oriented. Very clean and safe. The reception staff where SUPERB as always checking in and out was a breeze and we were able to extend our stay an extra day We love this place and we will be getting a membership soon! The best family gem around

My family has been building life long memories and friends here for several years. Best campground we've found in Alberta!

Perfect place for all ages. Kids will enjoy the pool and petting zoo. Adults will enjoy the hot tub and free firewood. Cafeteria has a good selection of food and ice cream. Convenience store is fully stocked with camping needs and anything you might have missed to bring. Its our favourite campground.

Lots of great amenities for families to take part in. Pool is great. Campground is nice and clean.
Only thing that isn’t the great is the front desk staff, and other staff are not the most friendliest. When checking in they are usually not the most friendly. Paying a decent amount of money to stay here, would really hope their customer service would be better.

Not much luck with the weather, it rained from lunch with hail, and the service is on top, the administration works perfectly, there are many playgrounds, I especially liked the pools with hydromassage, the zoo for children and a lot of all kinds of entertainment!

This place is an awesome campground, especially if you have young or toddler aged children. There is a variety of fun things for the kids to do like an onsite playground, onsite petting farm, two heated pools with the largest pool also having a small kids splash section. There is an ice cream shop onsite that is great for those hot days. The cabin accommodations are fabulous and just right with all you need to be comfortable for a few days. The outdoor fire pit makes evenings wonderful and relaxing. On top of all you can do on the grounds, it's such a special bonus that Crimson Lake is also around the corner. Endless things to do here. You won't be disappointed.

This campsite is a family favorite! They have something for everyone petting zoo, trail rides, 2 clean, accessible, fun and family friendly pools. 3 hot tubs one of which is adult only. Their comfort stations have large clean showers that include wheelchair accessible ones. They also have laundry stations so you can get clean and comfortable while enjoying the wilderness. Our kids love the BMX park and our fur babies enjoy the Off-Leash dog area. They have a place to play baseball or fields to have a game of soccer or just run and play. They also have an outdoor Chapel. The campsites are maintained and come with a fire pit and picnic table. The kids love playing at the playground independently and ridding their bikes around alone is completely safe here. I would recommend bringing a walkie talkie as that’s what most families do. The ice cream shop and store is a favorite. Great place to spend family time.

If I could provide more than 5 stars i would.this was the BEST camping experience I've ever had, and a first for our family.our son is 4 and we had a sight across from the playground.he was able to make friends with other kids and play! The resort is SPOTLESS! No garbage anywhere, bathrooms were clean, showers were clean, pool area was clean.highly recommend!

They have everything a family could need for a great regular vacation spot. Pools, hot tubs, free firewood, playground, store, next to Crimson Lake. Love our spot. Been coming here for over 15 years.
