Wimbledon

Having resided within these premises for a span of 8 (eight) years, I am exceedingly contented with the office staff, particularly Petra, who, in my estimation, is nothing short of extraordinary. Her diligence, unwavering commitment, and conscientiousness render her the epitome of excellence, truly deserving of acclaim. Her remarkable follow-up on complaints is truly commendable. Rita singlehandedly undertakes the arduous task of cleaning the floors, doors, glass fixtures, stairs, elevators, and suites. The extent of her individual capacity in accomplishing such a myriad of duties is truly remarkable. Ali, the esteemed maintenance personnel, exhibits profound expertise in the domains of carpentry and plumbing. He remains ever-present, offering his invaluable aid when needed (beyond his scope) with an amiable countenance. The security personnel actively patrols the property. Kudos to the Area Cordinator Jennifer, she is silent but laser focused on Customer service and employee empowerment.

It is important to note that there is ongoing construction activity adjacent to the building at present. Furthermore, due to the building's location on the main road, there will be noise disruptions from passing ambulances, police cars, and during the summer months, occasional passing motor bikes (without mufflers) and music emanating from the nearby restaurant called Local. However, once one's doors are closed, these external disturbances become limited.

I encountered red ants when I became a resident 8 years back and it was quickly attended and with regular preventative pest control measures, I have not encountered any pest infestation. Tenants also need to clean their environments regularly, can't blame the Landlord for it always. Pigeons can be a problem, but bird netting is provided when and as needed. The activation of fire alarms is primarily attributed to tenant behavior not because of the building. The elevators have overall functioned well with the occasional elevator being reserved for move-in's, and the office exhibits diligence and promptness in addressing issues related to noisy tenants, smoking, or the use of marijuana. This building has always had a no-dog policy, I have seen cats, so I am assuming they are allowed. The emergency line for security and maintenance connects to an on-call customer service department, ensuring that services are provided within a two-hour timeframe. Parking is adequately managed with covered and non-covered spots. There is visitor parking at the back of the property requiring a Parking permit. If it is unplanned, you can call After hours and speak with the call center representative, who will report the vehicle information to Security. There is a small gym and a tennis court. The rent goes up every year, it is expected as it is close to the downtown location. This location is considered to be in the Oliver area on a map. I firmly believe it is well worth the investment for the other amenities such as it being walking distance to LRT and ETS transit, Pharmacies, plenty of restaurants, convenienly located. Good location, peace of mind, and efficient management of the building.

Commendation given on the 19th day of July in the year 2023, and is offered willingly, devoid of any partiality or solicitation.

My son recently stayed at Wimbledon boardwalk. Petra was so amazing, helpful and, accommodating. She will try her best to answer all your questions. Highly Recommended!

Everything is excellent, all the staff are amazing and the ladies in the office are very helpful and nice they respond to all my request in a timely manner, you will find everything you wish for in Wimbledon, I would recommend it to everyone I know, thank you for the amazing service and for making me feel like home

I been living here for a year. I love the experience of living at Wimbledon. All the stuffs in this apartment are friendly and helpful. Petra has been very helpful during the whole time! No matter what questions you have in mind, you will always get your response fast and accurate!

The rent is very competitive and it has underground parking. The views on higher floors are beautiful and the window is quite big. Love it here!

I am not disappointed. I gave the building 3 stars. An average building in Edmonton. Suites are a little small, but livable. Some effort to modernize the decor is noticeable. Elevator advertising screen has camera which monitors those who look at it. I would live here.

I used to live at Wimbledon for many years, and sadly I had to move to a senior home, I came back few days ago because I missed my old neighbors and specially to see the building manager Petra who made my experiences at boardwalk as a long term resident more than pleasant, I was very happy with the way she recognized and greeted me,
I admire every effort she does taking care of everyone in the building, and most important her smile, kindness and energy than makes the living a Boardwalk a memorable experience.

Very clean building and very nice and freindly staff.mostly "Shirin" who's so helpful and accomodating staff.i'll keep coming back to this place.

I would like to acknowledge an excellent service provided by Shirin. She is such a great asset to the company. Her customer service is very pleasant and over top, will definitely recommend this beautiful place.

Riza and Petra had help me a lot during my move. They are approachable and friendly. It’s just been a month living here, the building is always clean, and the staffs are reliable. Overall, this is a recommendable apartment.

Living in Wimbledon is awesome, its such a clean, quite, and beautiful building.the staff are kind, helpful and very friendly.i also love how convenient the location is, its close to everything.

I would like to say that my experience so far has been mostly positive and welcoming. A little agitating when the voices carry I to other sweets but I have found the ones above below and around me are fairly respectable. I have not seen one bed bug or cockroach that others have mentioned in their reviews. I would like to say that if things continue to improve or become and stay the same I can see myself residing at wimbeldon for an extended period. I would like to add that the maintenance and office staff and cleaners have been quite likable and welcoming. Ii would like it only to become better from here. Honestly submitted. Julie d

This was the first building I looked at after returning to Edmonton after 4 years. Needless to say I did not look at anything else. The location is perfect for any services especially if you enjoy walking, I can get to any store or service within a -0 minute walk. Wimbledon building is immaculate, all staff are very happy and friendly. They are also very quick to respond on any maintenance request and other issues. The building manager is very attentive and accommodating and always willing to help whenever possible. I would highly recommend Boardwalk Wimbledon if you are interested in a quite, clean building. I am extremely happy with my space and plan to call this home for a long time!
The only thing I would like to see, is Boardwalk making more of an effort to retain the happy tenants they have, as all their incentives are for new tenants only.

The best management I have ever had. They are very attentive and taking feedback seriously from tenant. Many THANKS to the ladies in the office.

Love the building. Petra the Manager is amazing. Very responsive and everything is always done on time. Janitorial staff and maintenance are very helpful and friendly at all times. Happy to be part of Boardwalk Community:)
If there was a 6th star I could add I would gladly do that.

The office staff, the cleaning staff and maintenance crews are fabulous. So accommodating. Whenever we need anything the girls are there to help us.

My only issue is that there is no NON SMOKING floors. I have a hard time breathing in a smoky apartment. We don't smoke but the renter next to us chain smokes and it filters thru the drywall.

The Boardwalk maintenance staff installed a very nice bathroom sink and changed the plumbing pipes below the bathroom sink. Also tile was put in around the bathroom sink area. I really like the sink, the tiles, and all work that was done. The staff person also explained details of the repairs so I could understand what was done. Very impressed with the quality of work and the friendliness of staff. All I could ask for. Thank You.

It's the best apartment with all the facilities.staff are very friendly and responds very quickly.

11 Years in Wimbledon, still the best place to live, building is always clean,
quick response to maintenance requests and super friendly Ladies in the building management, they deserve the 5 stars

Moved in with my wife Marguerite everything has been great, we love our apartment, It would be great to have gym open at 6 to allow access before heading to work

I am so pleased that I moved with my boyfriend at Wimbledon. The place is immaculately clean, associates are very conscientious and friendly. They are also very quick to respond on any maintenance request and other issues. We would highly recommend this place. Best place I ever lived in.

I love living here. I'm glad i moved in this building. The team is always on top of everything and really quick with maintenance request. The ladies in the leasing office Rizalina and Petra are always friendly and helpful. God bless Wimbledon!

I love the staff here. Very efficient, friendly, and understanding. They have also rescued my mail for me more than a few times haha

Just moved in this month and everyone's so friendly. Couldn't ask for a better place to live. Well deserving of 5 stars.

We love our suite at Wimbledon, the in-suite storage and the upgraded light fixtures, the lobby is nicely renovated, my friends always compliment how the building lobby looks like a Hotel, Also the Wimbledon team is highly efficient.

A true gem in the heart of Oliver. I've lived here for 5 short months and have never felt more taken care of as a tenent! Not only are the front desk staff friendly and always availble, they have gone above and beyond to ensure I am happy in my apartment. Plus, the location is unbeatable! I don't rive and am able to walk anywhere I need; endless amenities are just steps away, the river valley is in sight and there are many public transit options. The building is right on Jasper Ave, yet I have always felt safe and secure. The building clean, bright and very modern. My unit received several stylish upgrades before I moved in and any maintenance request that I have ever had, has always been dealt with the same day! Truly a five star team here at Wimbledom. I have never been happier as renter in the downtown core.

If I could give zero stars I would. Such an unpleasant experience with the staff and management. There whole refusal to give your security deposit back when you have no idea you were even approved is absolutely absurd. Very poor communication which proves they just don’t care about the tenants. Please don’t move here go to other places

Apartment building has bed bugs. They could try and say they are gone but they are still here. Ask about them

We love living here because it's close too everything. And the building is clean And safe is really nice

I've lived here 6 months. It's been really great. Our power went out one day and it was fixed in 10 minutes. Yes it took forever to get our balcony screen but no one's perfect. They take the bed bug issue seriously. And I currently am bed bug free! Ants come around when I leave the cats dishes on the floor, but that's on me. I love living here and the staff especially Cody are fantastic.
