Do not consider living here unless you want sleep deprivation and irresponsible management.
1.they claim that a video footage caught me having a dog (I absolutely do not, and they refuse to show me the mysterious footage) and directly charged me 100$ dog fee.
2.the heating pipe constantly makes a loud gurgling sound 24/7.the noise level is over 70 decibels on average, almost like having a washing machine next to your bed.so basically one cannot fall asleep until you are too tired you just pass out.
3.emergency support line is extremely unprofessional. I clearly specified I need a maintenance emergency, and the person just transferred me to security emergency line without asking or making sure. Not Helpful.

I have been living here for 2 years now. Don’t recommend anyone live here. There are 3 elevators in the north and east tower, but most of the time there’s only one working. Super overpriced, noisy, I just can’t think of any good things about this place except that it is close to UofA and walking distance to Safeway. Management is the worst. The only time it doesn’t take weeks for them to reply to my emails is for lease renewal

I had a fantastic experience at this rental building! The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs, the location is perfect, and the amenities are outstanding. Highly recommend living here.

I loved meeting the staff Nerissa at the Diversion, tbh she's the one that convinced me to choose the place! I also have met Gavin, and for the two weeks since I've moved here, he had always made sure I'm enjoying my stay. Lastly, Lilibeth, the leasing manager, is a sweetheart! She's compassionate and goes above and beyond! The only thing I'm not liking about the place is how dirty the apartment halls are. Especially in my floor. Garbage chutes aren't in place and constructions on going.it's just messy.

We went there and want to see the room, the appointment was at 6. There is no one to show up and pick up the phone. I sent the email and no one replied. Very disappointed. After one hour, the appointment is canceled by the office. Very bad experience in this hot weather.

This building has the best staff. They tried to help me solve the problem on a long weekend. One of the staff even came to office to solve my urgent request while he was not supposed to work. Appreciate for their help and 5 star for their excellent customer services.

Honestly this is an appalling building. It’s poorly managed, and on top of it there’s now massive construction that is never where they say it’s going to be. Constant jackhammering that sounds like it’s in the next room, and weekly “offers” for them to up my rent by 40% if I renew my lease. I’m leaving as fast as I can.
10 November 2022 12:26
We hired professional cleaners to clean up the rooms before the room inspection, and guess what. They deducted 210 CAD from our deposit for what them claim "5 hours of suite cleaning".
06 October 2022 14:13
Very bad experience. Currently the biggest thing is noise. From the upstairs and outside of road and building construction. Sometimes the noise of nailing on wall always occur at 7-8 am,not the fixed time just accidentally but perhaps once or twice a week. I don’t know the noise from private construction or Windsor maintenance, while my normal sleep and work has been badly affected by this noise. And another thing is construction of road and new building nearby. I don’t think it’s a good way to rent here, the construction perhaps will last one year or longer, the noise made me can’t work or stay in the living room because the direction of our unit is construction. I don’t know where I could stay because living room and bedroom also can hear loud noise. And another thing is increasing the rent even though has been living here for many years. I don’t recommend it for rent anyway. And pls change your telephone service if possible,I couldn’t call in the office all the time.

I have lived in Windsor for almost 3 years and the experience here is impressive. Fast and efficient maintenance services, good neighborhood relationship and excellent entertainment room.

I am in in the North Tower Windsor Park Plaza the building is very clean and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The amenities are fantastic and walking distance to everything, great place to live.
23 August 2022 18:30
It has a very clean swimming pool. A complete gym, but we have not try it yet. Personal behave well.
05 July 2022 4:30
I can't believe they keep sending strangers to break in my unit again and again for mice. But I don't see any mice throughout the 1 year and a half. I called the manager but she just forces me to take that. Awful apartment, awful management especially for second floor! Don't move into this building!
26 November 2021 12:49
I lived in 28th floor in the north building last year. It is the prime suit in Windsor but without Wifi. The wifi cable is not installed properly. I wasted $300 on my phone’s data and used it as my main wifi hotspot.

I am immensely grateful for the great communications and splendid help from the Staff Members at Windsor Park Plaza & Lofts, who I had communicated with. I am enormously thankful for the great apartment e.g. The apartment is in excellent condition, at Windsor Park Lofts. Also, I am immensely thankful for the fantastic on-site Windsor Park Plaza & Lofts amenities, such as the Diversions Amenities which has a swimming pool, fitness studio and other amenities.

Thank you so much again!

WPP is a wonderful place for living, we just relocated from Mexico, this is our first apartment in Canada and we are very happy. Our unit is nice and cosy, diversion area is great!

The 5 stars is for Dale, a man works in WestCorp who helped fixing the wall in my unit. He is responsible and funny. Have had a good time with him.

Best place to live, all the amenities and perfect location. The apartments have great size, no neighbour noise enters the unit, and the balcony is awesome!
08 September 2021 21:20
Hi. Thank you very much. The only problem is that some neighbors do not consider the right of others and make so much noise. Another problem is that the walls of the unit are very hollow.
07 July 2021 21:11
I stayed in Windsor for almost three years, have to admit that this apartment has the best location, but be aware, location is the only pros to considered!

As COVID started, the rent is still pretty high because they often mentioned how perfect their pool, gym, study room are, HOWEVER, these facilities are not open at all or opened under restrictions. So why they still charged this much rent but you are not using these perfect at all?

Also, this apartment is old, although they did some reconstruction on several floor every year (the rent will be very high). The heating system in lower level is not working at all! If you choose to live in their bachelor suite, congratulations, now you can feel both the extreme cool and hot temperatures. You’ll feel the cold wind blowing all the time in winter, and the hot wind gathering in your room and not leaving.

The leasing office, OMG, tons of bad words can describing them! They are the WORST! They’ll treat you very good before you sign the lease, once you signed, nightmare started. They will look every tiny detail of your apartment when doing move out inspection, and the $1000 deposit is literally all theirs! Also, if you tell them you are about to leave, they’ll bring ‘prospective tenants’ come into your apartment and give a room tour when you are still living in the apartment and especially still in the COVID! I really like the maintenance team, they’re the best!

Be careful, just don’t choose this apartment! Bad comments are everywhere, I hope the team can really improve the management instead of just keeping replying comments here, not helpful at all!

I love this apartment. It is quiet, safe, and lovely. I like our view from the East way. This apartment is safe and guarded. Overall, I am happy to choose this community.

Winsor park plaza is so good. I want recommend my friend and family and anyone to live here. It has great service.
08 June 2021 17:51
Good experience. I like the Gum, swimming pool and the free space at the second floor. Lots of our staff created the comfortable living condition. While sometimes the elevator is very busy
24 May 2021 13:06
I'm happy to live here! But, the pandemic caused all the facilities to shut down and the prices were not lowered making this place a little too expensive.

Current tenant at this building. Great maintaince
Very clean but awful customer service for current tenant and not enough staff working in leasing office.

Took me several calls to reach out to them for adding roommate and when I did reached out to them they sent me room mate agreement pdfs which were scanned the way that it would not print out properly. Apart from this your work will never get done such like adding roommate if your current tenant they are all interested in new leasing. Person who talked to me was friendly but she can not help out because she did not have access to roommate agreement stuff now how you suppose to know this when you see leasing office is open on Saturday you think that your work will get done. So just heads up. They will offer you great service because they want your business such as new lease but this very frustrating for us. They need to have atleast who can help out they have three buildings which include two towers and college plaza. 28 floors in each tower 11 to 12 suites in floor and so that means this many tenants and they did not have any stuff to do this.

Moreover, if you phone them your call get answer faster if you choose number which is for new leasing how amazing that is.
This thing i have experienced so many times so now even I have other questions I press one so my call gets better response.

I’ve been here for over a year prices are depends on the their mood. I rent now one bedroom for $1550 and my friend have is 2 bedrooms for $1600. Plus elevators are 2 out of service 24/7 and 1 is working so you need to wait 10-20 mins. They come up with rules when they don’t want to work, one time my pass stoped working and I want to go to the parking and I’m late to work, I went to the office and the rude receptionist said only one pass per household, then why did you give us tow in the first place. They are very nice until you sign the contract, then they will show you the other face. Now I can’t wait to finish my contract to leave this building. GARBAGE
11 January 2021 22:55
Usually you should leave you home 2 hours before your appointment or your work because of the elevator! Plus in winter keep on mind to wear heavy and warm jacket while you watching Tv.
05 January 2021 9:15
The heating system is the apartment does not even work. It is difficult to stay in the apartment in extremely cold weather
15 September 2020 0:34
希望中国人团结起来!不要住在这里!Super disappointed. NOT recommend for anyone to move in. I currently living in the apartment. Management for this building are terrible. Promise you would follow up with you concerns. BUT NEVER HEAR BACK ANYTHING! Appears rude when trying to approach. One of the management member actually said “You get a discount. So you will have to live with this. ” That’s true I got a “70” dollar discount. But it’s also true the stove is 100 years old and not even safe to use. If you are consider to move in be prepared to expect NO HELP. And be prepared to be asked to pay for anything you need.

Unfortunately there's no half star so I give one. I wear 4/5 sweater to sleep in the whole winter because the heating system is really horrible and not only my apartment but couple of floors have the same issue. Maintenance is very punctual but could you please inform us when maintenance will come to avoid the situation that I was sleeping and the maintenance was showing up in my apartment and talking. Just to avoid if some new tenants think their apartment is broke in by somebody and call the police. This drives me mad so please inform me in advance. Except the good maintenance, the others are way awful. I've decided to move out in the next couple of months. As a normal human being, I'm going to change a place and live a better life. Living here makes me so tired. I'm not happy. It sucks.
26 August 2020 20:44
Good place to live. Near to the campus, HMart, Safeway and the bus station is just downstairs. Officers here are nice and kind.
12 August 2020 4:15
As many others have said, the location is great if you work or attend school at the University or Hospital. Also, the maintenance people are great. They respond fast and have always solved the problems in my experience. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the management and leasing office staff who seem to cause more problems than they solve. When I started my application to rent here, 3 times in a row I had an appointment booked for room viewing that leasing office staff always managed to forget about. They forget about everything and you have to hound them constantly to get anywhere. They will forget about your viewings, make tons of mistakes on your lease agreement, completely forget about your move-in date, never answer the phone or emails, etc. Also, be aware that the 1 month free rent incentive is only for the first year and after that they jack up your rent and lower your incentive discount and if you don't comply then you have to move out and risk losing a good chunk of your security deposit. A big part of the reason why the rent is higher than normal here is because of the very good amenities here (gym, theater, pool, etc). The issue is that all of these amenities were gone during the pandemic meaning that all the tenants here continue to pay the same or increased rent for far less value. Now is probably the worst time to sign a new lease here if you want any value for your money.
19 July 2020 3:29
The office was terribly awful. They broke into our room one day morning without any permission and left without saying sorry. The rent is not matched with the quality. The office NEVER EVER solved any problem.
Btw, this is a building that allow indoor smoking and weeds.
27 June 2020 18:39
The worse apartment with most expensive rent. The management service are worse. Very bad attitude. Cold in the winter. Heating was not sufficient.
17 March 2020 15:54
Best amenity package in the city. Large units. Office staff were pretty friendly. Maintenance guys were prompt if they needed to do anything. Awesome location.
07 February 2020 20:11
The buildings themselves are fairly nice, the units are spacious and relatively well-equipped. Frequent water shut-offs become annoying they begin to interrupt your routines and often come with very short notice. Maintenance crews are friendly and thorough, and the amenities on the 2nd floor are hard to beat.

That being said, the building's management was consistently disrespectful, dismissive, inaccessible, and routinely levy unfair and unnecessary fees on tenants, most of whom are students. Administration has extremely limited hours and evidently takes long lunches. Anything outside of emergency maintenance presents an arduous process of getting it takes care of. Is your shower broken on Friday at 4pm? You'll have to wait until Monday around noon, if you're lucky.

The most absurd part of my stay was the move-out process: You are expected to clean absolutely everything (and pay for a professional steam-cleaning of the carpets) before you move out, and any additional cleaning that they deem necessary is billed at $40/hour off your damage deposit. The hours they bill for simple tasks are laughably absurd, I was charged over $300 because they needed to sweep the hardwood floors in my one-bedroom. Forget to remove and scrub the rubber seals around the fridge? That's another $200. I lost almost my entire deposit for such petty charges. At the rates they charge tenants, one would imagine these tasks are their responsibility.

The amenities and the view are the only things redeeming this place, otherwise I would've given only one star.

Nice place to stay, if price is not a big issue to u. I live here because it's very close to uni. As a two-year tenant now I can tell the management is merely okay. To start, there are good leasing agent who helps you out, there's also awful ones who don't give a damn. As a tenant here, it's got quite a large selection of things you can do for amusement. And there's monthly, or even weekly events held by the management.
26 September 2019 16:07
The maintenance crew is absolutely fantastic. Any issues we've had with our unit have been dealt with extremely fast and with great quality. I moved here because of the amenities, but even if I was willing to give that up, it would be hard to settle for a different standard on maintenance. Donna from the leasing office is also a delight, always looking to find solutions that work for everyone. This is a building that is concerned about tenants' experience from the first day they move in to the last. The amenities of course are so much better than you would find in other apartment buildings, especially the pool and gym. Would highly recommend this building.

I've been a residence at Windsor Park Lofts since 2014. The amenities are amazing, the staff are always finding ways to keep our community busy such as: karaoke nights, holiday events, movie night and much more. The gym is well equipped for the tenants, the swimming pool is a great way to unwind after a long day! They aim to please and I recommend anyone looking for a community and not just a place to live come join us. It's worth what you pay!

I lived in Windsor Plaza a couple years ago and had several negative experiences.

On the day I was moving in, the lady at the front desk was taking me to my room and as it was in the other tower, we went through the parkade which is where she realized she didn't have the key. She then left me there to go get it, and didn't return. After 25 minutes, I came back to the office (I had to follow someone in since I wasn't given a key card so was basically locked in that parkade where she left me) and was told she went home without even telling me or sending someone else to get me or take me to my room because she had to study. I was already horrified by how I was being treated and this was only my first day there.

A couple months after having moved in, my heating stopped working. Temperatures were so low that the needle on the thermostat was so far to the left I couldn't even seen it. I reported this to management over and over. Initially they just gave my roommate and I space heaters but when we each had them plugged into our rooms, the electricity would go out since they were on the same circuit. Also, the space heaters only heated up the area of about a foot in front of them because it was so cold so we had to sit in front of them. This went on for MONTHS. One day a maintenance employee came by and said that he could have it fixed within the evening but only if the manager approved him working overtime as this was on a Friday evening. He said he would inquire with her about if they would pay for the overtime hours or not. Shortly after, I got an email from the manager saying that the heating would be fixed on Monday, so clearly she would rather have us freeze over the weekend then pay to have a problem solved that we had been reporting to her for months.

When I was finally able to leave, management gave me a notice saying that they would be bringing prospective tenants into my apartment from 8am-5pm five days in a row. I consulted legal advice and was told this was completely unacceptable. When you give notice that you are entering someone's apartment, you must give them 24 hour notice of the specific times you will be entering or this is interfering with their tenancy - you can't just say you'll be bringing people in all day every day. Additionally, when people came in, your employee who was bringing them told them they didn't have to take their shoes off when they walked on the carpet. Why then, should you be expecting me to pay for steam cleaning the carpets when you are the ones dirtying it?

Also, every time I came to the office to pay my rent, I had to deal with your unfriendly staff. Windsor Plaza was hands down the very worst living experience I have ever had. I have lived in a couple of different apartment buildings since then and was so surprised by how much better my experiences have been elsewhere.

Very bad experience, the sound proof (walls) sux, i can hear my neighbor doing everything clearly in my room (even he makes phone call and has showers), so annoying. Highly recommend do not live here.
