Very knowledgeable staff for a wide verity of expertise they don’t talk down or dumb down anything if you have novice questions and they do their best to recommend the best options.
Thank you Mike L for helping my wife and I today in your store. This is my 2nd time in your store and the service we received from Mike was outstanding! For someone like me that feels a little out of my element at places like this, he was great at listening to our questions and getting us exactly what we needed. We are glad we have you guys in Airdrie! Thanks again
We have always had a positive experience here. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Hubby is a carpenter by trade so, wandering through here is like a toy store for him.
We have been shopping Windsor off and on for 10 yrs. We have been there a lot the past 3 months. Every time we go in we are greeted at the door and asked if we need help right away. Always have help loading wood! The last time one of the employees went out of his way to help, We were asking about measurements of a door. He actually got a ladder went up to the display door and took all the measurements for us! It helped tons. Thanks again for all of your help.
Great service, product, pricing and communication! Would highly recommend this company. Mike Learning was fantastic and is a great asset for Windsor Plywood.
Additionally, their recommendation for installation was also amazing!
The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful to me. I am a complete beginner when it comes to wood projects, and I appreciated the patience and the expertise that was shared with me during my many visits and with my many questions.
After listening to my husband and Doug argue about product ordered to be told we can no longer help you, even after the sales person Mike and the manager who is also the owner agreed they were in the wrong. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Let’s start from the beginning shall we. Trying to support local we decided on visiting the airdrie location. We went in with one idea and came out having ordered countertops for our entire kitchen. Quote $1650. Send in the contractor to take precise measurements. Changed trim second quote $1850. Kitchen ordered. Home renovations start. Delivery possibly beginning of February. We have zero issues with said contractor. February comes store wants payment. Perfect we are ready for delivery. Not the new price of $2608.79. Where did this come from? Not once were words used of reference to paying store plus contractor. Our quote was all in just like any other supplier of course adjustments are made with upgrades. Hence 1650 to 1850. Understandable. So now we have Mike verbally saying he made a mistake and there is nothing that can be done. Bring in the manager who had some information - first phone call. He says he will get back to us. In a timely matter he does. To then say ‘yes we made a mistake there’s nothing we can do’. I listened to this conversation via speaker phone for 23 minutes, it was painful. Admitting they were wrong but would not budge on price. My husband asked 3 times what could you do. 3 times ‘nothing but part ways and hopefully this doesn’t ruin the relationship we have with them’. It’s extremely disappointing that a local business would treat another local like this. I work in sales and over the years have made mistakes. The only difference is my company stood behind my mistake and made it right to the guest. Loss or not be true to your word not just walk away from a job and leaving my home partly completed. As an example would you get a quote on a car but when it shows up you need to pay extra for a steering wheel to leave the lot. Sad. Disappointed. You need to stand behind your mistake not walk away from it. If this is the case it speaks volumes of the type of people they are.
Needed a can of oil stain for a project that I am working on and while the Airdrie store didn't have any in stock, they were able to get a can from another store very quickly. They were quick and responsive at getting back to my request and were great to deal with. Customer service was great.
Exceptional customer service from Doug @ Windsor! Prompt service with unbeatable prices! Do yourself a favour and shop local with Windsor Plywood! Thanks Doug!
Bought a door and jam from the Airdrie location, we were installing a door into our existing master bathroom that did not have a door.over the holidays we installed the door and after the Jam was installed we were able to hang the door and noticed a 2"gap from the bottom of the door to the tile.contacted Steve and was informed that he may have not of asked all questions as he never new that there was already tile and carpet there and was informed that we have to cut the Jam down 3/4 of an inch.this door is installed and to cut the Jam down we are now having to remove the whole door and jam, THERE SHOULD OF BEEN MORE COMMUNICATION WITH THE CUSTOMER THEN JUST TO MAKE A SALE.if Steve had taken the time to ask the proper questions this could of been a painless transaction now it will cost the customer more time and money.
STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM PEOPLE WHO CARE.
