Their customer service is excellent. They are thorough and patient (especially with those of us who are not even good with reading a tape measure).

This store is super clean and organized. Alison helped us and she was fantastic, she was able to answer all our questions, and give us some great recommendations. Highly recommend working with her and this location.

Excellent experience... Gentleman named Marty extremely helpful, didn't rush us at all. I know very little about wood generally so it was nice to be helped and not dismissed as a Looky Lou. I would definitely go there again absolutely!

The staff here actually know what they are talking about. You will get good advice and a great selection of plywood and hardwoods.

Needed sheetbof bead board, Mario is always good to talk to when you can't find something.

The staff are rude, they'll make a cut on wood you buy, chip it and then raise their voices about the mistake. Don't even think about a discount for the mistakes.

Excellent selection for a woodworker. I was doing a desk project, walked in, got a variety of wood I hadn't originally considered. Very happy with quality and the finished product. Highly recommend

The service was beyond great. I came in with questions and Scott B answered them all. I needed to buy interior bedroom doors and I did not know what exactly I was looking for. Scott B showed me the options, told me what to measure so I would get the right size door. Customer for life thanks to your great staff member.

Staff suggested buying extra T&G and returning unused, but failed to explain return policy re: unopened bundles and invoice provided no detail on policy. Same staff who suggested return, flatly refused return, and store manager completely inflexible, citing industry standards. Bundles not picked thru and yet.zero flexibility, zero understanding. Bundles delivered with tape on some ends and one board massively damaged. Beware! Mostly good experiences with purchase and delivery, terrible with returns.

Great place and wonderful experience here. Really appreciate Brian who is professional and friendly. As a greenhand, I got so much help from him and I completed my project perfectly. Definitely recommend Windsor plywood on 99st to my friends.

I love this Windsor Plywood. I wish they were all run this well and staffed/managed by teams like this. Windsor can be hit-and-miss as they are all independently owned and operated, and owners are free to set their own prices and carry different goods. The owner of this store is really great though. His prices are in line with other retailers or are better. Never have be disappointed with the price or service here.

If you have had challenges with the West and North Edmonton Windsor Plywood, check out the South Edmonton location. It is night and day better, and it will likely become a go-to store if your are a DIY'er, woodworker, or carpenter.

Great location, Worth driving out of you way for. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are genuinely good wether your DIY carpentry or construction. They carry what you need and the shop is well run

Great place for advice and help when you don't know exactly what you need to do or what you need to buy. They'll give you guidance and help you pick out the products you need to get your project done.

Alex and the crew at Windsor on 99 always do a top shelf job supporting all my projects around the house. I would highly recommend them.

Looking for composite decking and no stock to be found for the product we wanted, called and they had everything I needed Scott at the counter was very helpful Gave us our options on everything from how to finish the deck to what to do about stairs

Tons of selection but not enough staff to service customers, long waits. Timber town is just up the road, would suggest stopping there instead

Really nice people at this Windsor. Been dealing with them for years. Even if you aren't a professional carpenter I'm sure they'll treat you with respect and steer you in the right direction

Helpful staff. Took the time to explain different materials for different purposes on my project. Really useful for a hobby DIY person like me.

Emailed company for a quote and received a quick reply from Alex. Called in to the store to complete order with Danny. For some reason, he could not here me on speaker phone and was met with a response "last chance" after 2 seconds and hung up. I wanted to support a local business but I guess I'll take my business else where.

They had the cedar I needed to finish a project before the year end. Service was fast and effective.

Make sure you check to see if this place has what you need before going to home depot or lowes. Good prices and better service.

This place is great.
The first time I went there I purchased a bunch of stuff to build a commercial whiskey bar, and I had never dealt with Windsor beforehand.
Mario was the guy I dealt with, and he is super knowledgable, very friendly and I have since requested him every time I return, although the other staff are also great.
I highly recommend this place for your wood needs, and they have much better quality than Home Depot, which basically can’t compare.

I emailed because I don't go out to stores to browse during covid 19 and I got expensive options suggested to me but yet didn't provide any prices which is what I actually asked for. When I replied with specific wood what price is it, they then would no longer reply. This has of course led me to beleive this place is a store of salesmen as they refuse to let me price compare

Huge selection of hard to find and exotic woods. Never have any issues getting help or advice from the staff. Great place to shop

Not always the cheapest but they have a knowledgeable friendly staff and have material that nobody else has in stock.

Allison is amazing. Patient and kind and willing to help. There was another younger guy that was also super helpful. We've done two major home renovations sourcing product from Windsor and almost every time they've been exceptional. There's a cranky German guy and another old guy who works there who made us feel like we were wasting his time by asking questions. The German guy (sorry, I don't know his name) tried to tell me geometry wasn't math.

I ordered a custom door, over $1K. It came in undersized for my opening, Kurt told me he was an owner and laughed about it, told me I should have shopped around! Try Fancy windows and doors if you don't want to get ripped off

I received excellent service from this store when ordering a new door for my home office. The pricing was fair. Alex found a local supplier that could speed things up for me. I highly recommend these guys over their big box competitors.

Just had a lovely experience of customer service today that exceeded my expectations. I was buying some hardwood trim, and the employee who was helping me wrap it noticed a piece that was cracked. She quickly went and got me a new piece to replace the cracked one (which I had already paid for and wouldn’t have noticed until I went to use it). Happy to bring my business here.

My son and I had terrible customer service here. We weren't addressed coming in or standing at the desk for 5 minutes, not offered help to find anything, and then after we found a piece of wood ourselves.also not addressed at the counter when wanting to pay, even after looking directly at us. Not impressed.

Lots of cool plywood and miscellaneous wood products in here. Worth the visit to even just spur some imagination for your home projects. Prices are pretty good as well.

Tried to bring in a door for a trim to this specific door store and was told "We don't work on wood that's not ours". I just needed a little off the top so I found this disappointing however I have had better experiences in the past with custom doors being whipped up with a decent turn around at an agreeable price point. Perhaps I just got a grumpy bumbler on the phone most recently. I would certainly give them another chance but have a somewhat bad taste in my mouth.

Had terrible customer service at this place recently. When I asked for some help after waiting for 15 minutes, the three employees who were standing at the desk looked at me as if I had three heads. Finally, when the female employee had come to help, she had a chip on her shoulder, was extremely rude to us and came across as if she was put off by having to answer our questions. Terrible customer service. If I was to treat a patient the way I was treated - I'd have lost my job. Super disappointed in this store! Will not return, or recommend to anyone. Might not be a bad idea to re-train your staff on customer service.

Knowledgeable staff and fair prices. Ordered a set of doors to match our existing doors. Pricing was less then the box stores for an exact match vs. Something close. Definately a goto for finishing projects.

A woodworkers wet dream. They have a bunch of different woods with different widths and thickness. Good selection of baseboards and trims. Staff was very friendly and even carried my order to the front desk.
