Wine and Beyond Red Deer

If you need bitters, this is the place to go! Selection is out of this world, and the manager there takes pride in what he does and is super friendly and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend for selection and service!

Very good selection if craft beer.at least from Alberta! Needs to include more American and especially European beers. Best choice in Red Deer for sure.

Crazy knowledgable and helpful sales staff! They know their stuff when to comes to alcohol, and if they don't know an answer to a question, they are more than willing to dig to find an answer.

Awesome selection of wine and spirits. Huge walk-in cooler for ice cold beer. Many exclusive releases, available only at Wine and Beyond locations.

One suggestion for improvement: offer more "single" craft beer options, allowing customers to "test the waters" with new beers before committing to a 4 or 6 pack.

Always has specials on strongbow and ole, so my two fav drinks I can get for dirt cheap. Massive selection and always friendly.

Selection is vast, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. When they have an item on sale, it is a good sale price.

This is easily the largest liquor store in Central Alberta. Awesome selection and some incredible prices. For the rich and famous there is a bottle of Glenlivet 50yo Single Malt Scotch for $26k and a few bottles of Chateau Latour 2010 for $2,300. If you like craft beer, there is almost too many to choose from. Wine selection is pretty awesome as well. A friendly place to talk Scotch with Jaimie as two long aisles of Scotch with an incredible variety and great prices.

I thought I would only want to support local business until this store came to town. Intimidating from the outside but warm and inviting staff inside that greet you and your questions or ignorance with enthusiasm and patience and knowledge. I never fail to find what I want, and the suggestions I receive from Jamie in Spirits and Scott in Wine, never fail to be a returning buy. Clean wide aisles to shop in, and organized with "luxury" nowadays of clearly seeing the price.

Clean store and helpful friendly staff make all the difference. If you are looking for something special for that hard to buy for person this place will have it. I was surprised they had a tasting bar.

Great selection, but prices are not as good as they say. The prices are actually the same as elsewhere. When you can get an employee, they are very helpful.

Fantastic selection and prices on a wide variety of alcohol! Great selection of Wines but also local craft beer, and spirits from around the world that are difficult to find elsewhere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, too!

Definitely have a large selection. The beers on tap are a great idea and I like that you can sample before you buy. Staff is freindly. Only downside is they are a bit higher priced than other places.

One of the best selections in town. If you're looking for something rare, or imported seaonsally, this is where you will want to look first.

Good parking. Store has convenient sliding doors and graduated cement for entry and exit.
Always has good amount of stock at competitive prices.

The only place I was able to find the best Moscow Mule in a can. Their selections of alcohol are found nowhere else in Red Deer.

Love this place they carry my favorite wine. One down side is they don't sale Johny Bootlegger it's my favorite non wine drink. There is 8 flavors. Ugh please start selling it. I'll buy the case.

Just a great shopping experience. The store is clean and the staff is super friendly. They have also maintained a selection of German beers, unlike some other liquor stores.

Location easy to get to, parking can be troublesome at times. Huge selection of everything you might want in a liquor store. Prices aren't necessarily the best, though fair.

I loved the selection they had on everything I could think of. I ended up going back twice and stocking up on a lot of new drinks. Very warm experience for sure!

Literally anything you could ever need booze wise. I could spend hours and thousands of dollars here if I was rich. Also a really good place to go for little gifts.

Don't carry the Rosè I like. And the rum I drink wasn't in stock. The associate had no clue about either of them. But it's a nice place.

I give it five star, because the store has huge selections of liquor. As for me, though, it has ALMOST everything you could name. And still it is everything you need to spend a nice evening.

Love love love this store. Such a huge selection and the 20% off on 12 bottled is an amazing deal. They have so much to see for wine and so many amazing spirits I have never even heard of. You will not regret it stop and take a wander but a lot more then a few minutes you will need it.

I really like this place! The tasting bar is a winner. You do need to know your prices before going in. It’s great that they price match but then that only works if you know your prices. Atmosphere is very nice and the employees are awesome. I would give it a 5 but their prices were generally higher than our regular places.

This is definitely the coolest liquor store I've ever been in, and I think it has the best selection. It doesn't have everything, but it's pretty close. They have great prices here and also the most ridiculously priced rare bottles. It's a great variety. They've got a staggering amount of different wines for every budget and unique beers from all kinds of local breweries. Also they've got a ton of foreign alcohols as well. So far all the prices I've compared have been either lower or the same as other stores, so they've definitely got the edge there. I won't make a special trip to Red Deer for it, but it's my new go-to if I'm nearby.

Another alcohol success. Went in for a bottle of vino. Came out with2 bottles of wine, 2 made cans of craft beer, a bottle of blue liquer, and a bottle of coconut rum. Gonna have a time now. This store lost one star because I left with no money for a hot dog. Now i'm hungry, no matter, I wont be thirsty or alert soon, all good.
