I advise everyone to buy and try jack daniels apple it's just an incredible thing, everyone had it on the table and Coca Cola, mix it all with a ratio of 30% to 70% and you get a good cocktail

Awesome place to shop if you are looking for something special. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Clean store and nice selection. It’s always inviting when I’ve entered.
Staffing seems to not be adequate considering the holidays and the amount of customers that were in the store.

Plenty of flavours of Soju to choose from! If you buy more than 6 bottles, you get a good deal! I always come here for the soju.

Great scotch and whiskey (Canadian, American and international) selection. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Went there to purchase18 year old single malt scotch which was the cheapest in the City and to my surprise was even on sale. I frequent this place on a regular basis, great selection but you need to be aware of market prices.

This place is awesome. Staff are super helpful and they have a variety of products you won't find in the average liquor store. We couldn't find what I was looking for but may not be available in Canada. Weird. I'll be back o this store for sure

I went to W&B to look for a new gin to try. Sherry stepped in to help and she was incredible. She gave me some tastings to try and she was highly knowledgable on several kinds of liquor. She took the time to show me interesting bottles and tell me about the distillaries and flavours of each. I eventually found a new gin from her suggestion, which turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

If you're in Wine and Beyond at Southgate, go find Sherry. She's kind and willing to go the extra mile to help. Give that girl a raise! I will be back.

Definitely love coming here because the staff are very friendly, helpful, and best part is that the store is dog friendly, so I do make a point of coming here over other stores because I take my dog everywhere and she loves meeting new people.

As long as they're a pet friendly site, I'll keep coming here.

Only thing is I hope they can expand their cider selection as it's rather small right now.

I would like to say that this place is freaking huge. The only downside was that they didn't have my favorite local distillery unless I just didn't see it

An old ALCB location makes this a great place for a high end liquor store. Huge selection, great layout and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Prices are competitive.

This is my first time there with my wife and it's the best liquor store here in Edmonton. They have everything from Europe. The best liquors.

I get the worst case of wantitise when I'm there. Oh I want this and this and this oh this too.

This location is ok, I prefer the Windermere or St. Albert location as the staff at those locations are a lot more helpful.

This place is like an adult playground! They carry pretty much everything you could possibly need and the staff are very knowledgeable. The prices are actually quite good too. This is my go-to place if I need more specialty ingredients like bitters because they carry such a wide variety to choose from.

Atrocious customer "service" by the lady in the pink mask when I was simply enquiring about gift cards on September 19,2022. She was sarcastic, rude, and unhelpful. I will never shop here again. Easily went over to Sobey's Liquor up the street who have excellent staff and service and they will receive a much better review.

Awesome selection and pricing!
If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. Tons of free parking, never had to wait in line for more than a couple of minutes.

Wine and Beyond has been my go to ever since I was old enough to drink and I have to say their Southside location is wonderful. I went in tonight to buy a Christmas gift and I met their Spirits Manager who expressed such a knowledge of both Scotch history, aging techniques, and their entire product offering that I was absolutely blown away.

This is my go to store for liquor in the city now. I drove from across town to go here because I've heard it's the best place for customer service. I Went in to buy a special Christmas gift with a hefty budget, and I didn't want to waste it with someone who didn't know their stuff. 2 minutes into my shop I met Paul the store GM and he blew me away with his in depth knowledge of what the store had to offer. Despite the chaos of the Christmas season I never once felt rushed or like he wasn't giving me his full attention. 10/10 will only go here from now on.

Great selection and lots of staff to help out with any questions. Not as big as the one in Windermere but it does the job.

Great selection with good prices. They allow our pooch to shop with us which is so nice! The staff are helpful and nice to chat with. I would recommend this place for all your boozy shopping

Yoshen and Candy helped me pick out a great selection for my liquor cabinet. I did not feel pressured to buy any of their recommendations, and I didn't even feel bad about spending as much as I did as a result of them. Highly recommend

Wine and beyond is amazing! The selection is out-of this world in literally any kind of alcohol you could possibly look for from 5$ wine coolers to 10,000$ scotch and everything in between, great knowledgeable staff. Whenever I go here I always find some niche bottle I never thought I'd see in Edmonton. Also they have a great selection of bitters and mixers as well for any cocktail aficionado. Their wine selection is phenomenal as well from every reagion on the planet that makes wine they've got it. Reasonable prices as well!

Lots of selection, but couldn't find the seasonal beer I was looking for. That didn't stop the friendly staff from helping me find some at another location and offering to call them to hold it for us.

Good selection of local craft beers. Probably the best location in Edmonton to find any brand of Bourbon and fantastic selection of wines. It is the only store in the province that will ID me with a medium length graying beard (I'm in my 40's), so they definitely require training for their front end staff.

What's with only one cashier on duty every time you shop here? She must be an owner but needs training in customer service. Otherwise this place is great for pricing and product selection

Loved it. Wider selection. 1 of the few places tht actually had wat i was looking for. And they are abt $10 cheaper on the 750ml henny.

I walked in looking for a beer that they didn't have. I'm really picky and the staff was so educated/friendly that they were able to sell me on some stuff that is similar to Samichlaus. Absolutely amazed with their service!

Found that the prices here were high, it’s definitely a high end liquor store but even then the prices were not reasonable at all.

This liquor store is only for the rich. Prices are very high and there is no customer service. It took me 20 mins to find someone who actually knew what I was looking for. Over the years the service has dropped and the prices at this place have risen. Will not return!

They have some really good prices for my favourites, worth the drive for sure in that respect. The best wine selection of most places I've gone to as well! Not impressed that I was unable to buy my stuff until my fiance, a man with a graying beard, was done his shopping too. Definitely lost the sale there, sadly, as I had to walk through the store to go grab him and leave. Could learn to gauge the customers a little better in the future:)

My mother and I shopped at this store today and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The customer service at this store was fantastic. Paul (the employee that helped us today) was extremely positive, knowledgable and patient with my elderly mother who normally asks a million questions. He went out of his way to make sure that we had any and all questions answered and made great recommendations. My mother is so impressed she will be recommending this store to her friends and will be using it for all future family events. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great selection, and occasionally there are sales and need to check households. It may not worth drive all the way to Southgate mall unless you need something more. Sometimes the price is much higher than other stores, so keep price check

Have great selection but when looking for help to find something specific was hard to find help.

An overzealous employee ruined my experience and tried to ruin my day. The management is great though. They tried their best to rectify the scenario.

This location has less selection than the other locations I frequent (Sherwood Park & Windermere), but it's still a top tier liquor store with more than enough options. Great chain

Staff are knowledgeable about their products and have good suggestions on items to try. Selection of rums could be better, but have some great sales.

Absolutely the best. After previously working at a high end liquor store In Calgary for 2 years, I consider myself a hard critic of liquor stores, and coming to Wine and Beyond met every single expectation I could have. I asked for help selecting a wine to go with my dinner, and not only was I instantly accompanied by two wonderful associates (mark and the others name i did not get), but they made me feel great about the experience! Having a wine selected for you should be a fun, interesting, and positive experience. Mark took in all of my requests, and gave me an EXCEPTIONAL wine to try. The best part, when I gave a bit of my wine knowledge for input, mark took it into consideration and did not just brush it off, which is nice to see. Overall, a wonderful location that is clean, organized, and filled with helpful and knowledgeable staff with a smile! 10/10, keep it up:)

Good store, big selection, and huge heart - I just can't help but keep coming back - the store is also always filled with pleasant, refreshing and interesting customers as well. Call me -biased-, but I could spend hours and hours for days on end here, learning about all of the different wines and spirits the world has to offer!

Incredible selection! Just the whiskey section alone could be a store in of itself. The name "Wine and Beyond" doesn't lend to how much "Beyond" they have. Highly recommend!

I have been to this store several times. In my opinion this flagship store needs better trained staff and better inventory management - the till/computer never works seemlessly. Too many errors and items that are not scanning properly. No one asked me if they can help.

I find better service and product at custom wine stores like Fine Wines By Liquor Select, deVine Wines & Spirits and Color de Vino. If I am looking for a good price point, I go to Costco and Real Canadian Superstore, both of which consistently offer good prices.

Expansive selection of liquors, wines, liquers, beers, and pretty much what ever else you want. Also has a wide selection of bitters which are rare to come by. Probably the best prices in the city, with everyday sales and constant discounts. Also the service is quite helpful if you are looking for something but aren't that knowledgable in it, e.g. Buying whiskey for a friend when I don't ever drink whiskey.

Unreal the selection they have. Single Malts from multiple countries. But I found this little selection of JD’s.

This is your go to for basically any drink you're looking for! The selection is insane and the staff are amazing. My recommendation:
Take your growler and get the Odin IPA. It's even better than Fat Tug.

Id'ing people in their 30s multiple times to buy beer is pretty annoying. High prices are the cherry on the cake.

Excellent selection for a smaller store. They keep all their mixology stuff together and make it easy to find.
