Wine and Beyond St Albert

I needed help with an extensive wine pairing for a couple of auctioned private chef dinners we had donated, I wasn’t given much notice to put it together but Julie, Chris and team really pulled it off. I sent them my menu in the morning and when I arrived after dinner last night it was all picked and ready! I truly appreciated the effort in putting together a beautiful pairing for our lucky auction winners! Thank you so much for the help we appreciate it so much! I know the recipients are going to have a great dinner and wonderful beverages at their parties!

Instead of selling 48 packs of lucky beer, they take the 48 packs and break them down into 8 packs and charge more to “save the store money“ as I was told. Maybe don’t advertise a price match guarantee if you “don’t make enough money” off your product that you have to gouge your customers and rip them off. I will definitely not shop here again. These big chains are becoming so greedy that it’s disgusting and ridiculous.

Clint has helped us on more than 2 occasions and is very knowledgeable and friendly as is the rest of staff.

Love the selection in here. I'm not really a drinker but like the occasional tipple on special occasions. The store is huge and you'd be hard pressed not to find something. Great selection, prices on some items are a bit high, but you're likely to find all you need in one stop! Huge selection on non alcoholic items as well

Very helpful staff, polite and very accommodating. If you can't find what your looking for here then I really don't know where you would find it. Prices

I recently went to the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival, and thought, “ If there’s one place to get some of the products I tried it would be at Wine and Beyond. I was disappointed to hear that this business doesn’t have a local distillery’s products in its large range. The reason I was given was that “it’s really hard to add products to the list”! So tough luck if you’re looking to support Black Diamond distillery in St. Albert.
I also wanted to get one particularly tasty whisky from Revelstoke Distillery called “S’moregasm”. Tastes like toasted s’mores in whisky. Mmmmmmm! Good! Now, the reason I was given that this is not in the large repertoire of alcohol available, was that the product name wasn’t acceptable. I was somewhat shocked to hear this, especially since I was in a large chain business that specializes is providing ALCOHOL! Something that at one time was prohibited from being sold legally and created a thriving black market trade. These days, some still consider it to be the cause of many a social illness. But wine and beyond has drawn the line at the name “S’moregasm”. Everyone that enters this establishment is expected to be 18 years of age or older. And unless they’ve lived under a rock until their entry into a fine establishment like Wine and Beyond, I’m certain they are aware of “peenies ” and “chinas”, so the name “S’moregasm” might make them giggle, but surely won’t send them running from the store and straight to church for some moral reinforcement.
Overall, I really like Wine and Beyond and the wide variety of products to taste and recommend to others. These little obstacles just seem ridiculous. I guess I’ll just have to get these items from less reputable sources. Maybe a speakeasy in a grungy part of town.

I was looking for local craft brews to bring to a Thanksgiving gathering and a family member suggested that I visit here. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. This place has it all. If you’re looking for anything alcohol related or you’re looking to get into the boozy lifestyle then here’s your hangout!

Great selection of drinks and good service! However you can definitely get most of the drinks here for lower prices elsewhere.

I'm not quite legal age to buying anything from this store (2 more weeks), but my lord whenever I go here with my parents I'm blown away by the rows upon rows upon rows of all different styles of liquor from different places. A really massive and wild establishment

Always an awesome experience going into Wine and Beyond. Their selection is amazing and their prices are on the mark. A good place to find that missing bottle of what ever you want

Wow great selection! I was asked 5x if I needed help then the manager asked and recommend some cream liqueur. Dang I felt special

Worker was extremely rude to me. As a minor, I was accompanied by an adult (this is in line with the law of Alberta). The cashier explained to my father that I should have been left outside in the -40° weather due to the “law” that prevents me from even entering the store under any circumstance. She then proceeded to call us rude and get irritated (possibly angry), all in a very rude manner! My father was being nothing but nice to her. After spending $300, we were treated like garbage. Thanks lady. Also, she tried to tell us that we were “a little rude” for her $15 per hour wage. Ridiculous. Take that up with your manager, not my innocent family! To be fair, all of the other staff were very nice! It was just the lady working at the till that made the experience deplorable.

If there was ever a store that you could be locked inside, this would be the one.
Every type of alcohol and spirit and wine you could think of is here. And prices that are hard to be beat.

I love this place, not much else to say. If you are looking for anything alcoholic, there is a good chance its here. They have some of my favorite beers which I cannot find anywhere else.

Love this place! Prices are so-so, but they make up for it with their vast selection. Great collection of wines, locally brewed beers and, my favorite, the whisky Isles.from Kentucky to Kyoto

I dropped by to pick up an advertised wine for my wife this afternoon. I had a bit of difficulty finding it but was quickly helped by two friendly and knowledgeable staff members and a very personable and engaging lady manager, all three of whom took time from their busy duties to locate the item in the warehouse for me and subsequently make a price correction to match the current flier. These three remarkable individuals are a credit to their organization and certainly represent the quality of service befitting a first class operation such as this.

Amazing selection, super friendly and helpful staff. And we noticed that there is facilities for tasting products for a nominal fee. Try before you buy on expensive products is an excellent idea!

Great store, massive selection. Only complaint is that lately they have been stocking old/nearly expired cases of my beer (AGD). They had cases from January 10th on the shelf in August. Otherwise, great service.

Amazing store! Has something for everyone from the occasional drinker to the Scotch sipper. Staff attentive. And knowledgeable. Worth going.

Looking for a new beer from Grandville Island. This store had it as well as some from Russell Brewing. Bought the Grandville Island Peach Sour beer today and I will be back for the Stawberry & Kiwi Milkshake IPA later.

I went in knowing nothing about the Scotch I needed to buy as a Father's Day gift but David gave me AMAZING customer servicce! He spent over 10 minutes going over the one I was looking for and finding something that my husband would like instead as what I wanted was discontinued. Thank you so much David! You went above and beyond and brought back what customer service really is!

Super friendly staff. I was asked multiple times if I needed help. And what a selection! Wines for every taste and every price point.

Wine selection is a little weak, but great liquor and craft beer choices. Prices a bit higher than other places, but you get discounts for multiple purchases.

This place has tons of selection. Huge and very clean building. The staff were also helpful and friendly, prices are decent too. Definitely an awesome place to get your alcohol. A+
