Winners

I'm truly disappointed with the experience I had today at Winners. It's rare for me to express my frustration through surveys, as I'm generally a calm person, but today was an exception. My family and I were at the store to celebrate my mother's birthday and purchase a gift for her. We arrived shortly before closing time and, while trying on multiple jackets, unintentionally left two behind that we didn't purchase.

The cashier, an older lady who was quite pleasant, received my complaint about the disrespectful behavior of another employee (white lady maybe blonde hair in her 40s maybe). I believe she knows the person I'm referring to as I pointed towards her while I was complaining about her. However, what followed left me seething with anger. This unidentified lady came over to us and loudly demanded, "Are you done with those jackets? You need to hang them back! "

I was taken aback by her tone and words. I mean, isn't it part of the store's service to allow customers to try on clothes? It's disheartening to give your hard-earned money and be scolded for doing so. What makes matters worse is the possibility that this behavior is driven by racism. Her demeanor changed when serving white customers, but she was different with us. This experience is making me seriously question whether I should consider shopping at Winners in the future.

I didn't want to let this ruin my mother's birthday, so I refrained from causing a scene. However, it's crucial for Winners to address the behavior of employees like her. Basic courtesy and respect should be the minimum expectation when dealing with customers. I, for one, would never speak to someone in such a disrespectful manner. It appears she harbors some unfounded sense of privilege, and this needs to be addressed.

The employees treated us like we are criminals just because of the way we look and the way we are dressed.unbelievable that I can’t even shop without feeing so unsafe and being watched like a criminal.

As long as you don't deal/talk to the manager Stacey then you'll enjoy shopping here. You can go to the store everyday and she's the only one that won't smile and observe the way she treat customers. She needs to be moved to a remote branch.

I went in today to see some stuff for my dog and myself I have a pitbull/cane corso very friendly and I’ve asked before if you can bring pets in and they said yes we are pet friendly this old caucasian lady helped me but the tone and rudeness and discrimination against my dog she was well behaved and with me and she told me if my dog even get close to anyone I have to leave the store I’m sure the same would not have been said If she was golden
retriever or husky because my dog looks scary but is sweet if you wanna claim your business is dog friendly then act like it too and don’t discriminate because you are being ignorant also I called the bracelet I got by it’s correct ethnic name and she seemed have Attitude about that I will never be coming back here because the experience was so disappointing and gross. This kind of small mindset is just disgusting and sad to see

Store is clean, but, selection is sparse. Need a good revamp of clothing order! At least rotation of stock/inventory! 4 stars as I had a good experience.

Winners is always a bit of an adventure, wish there was a better plus size selection though.

This is a good store but I got yelled at for running like what if someone had a knife and wanted to stab me I guess I can’t run the store Is clean and all just one person got me mad

I could be here for hours. I love the variety of home goods/decor items and clothing. They always have great clearance prices on top of the already discounted prices. Great selection on kids toys, makeup, shoes and purses/bags too. Definitely recommend and I will be going again when I move to my new place for my decor items.

Nice clean store, organized well. Friendly customer service representatives. Was greeted and asked few times if needed assistance.

Winners is always a great place! I don't know if anyone else goes here for pasta, but it's my fav place for pasta. Its fun for the kids!

Customer service is bad. I called to ask about dimensions of a mirror I was interested in. At first, the customer service lady pretended she did not understand me and finally told me there is no available staff to check that for me. So it was useless to ask.

Its a winners in airdrie witch was needed. Awesome that I don't have to go to the mall to get them deals

I absolutely love Winners, however, this locations Men's section is very small in comparison to any of the Winners in Calgary.

Love this smaller store because it is so close. So clean too. Just waiting for some more stock on the shelves

I'm not sure if there was a lack of fancy dress shirt selection at this location or I am incompetent at picking out classy clothes. Either way, 4 stars!

Extremely rude male staff, was so full of his ego he told me to report my complaint to his disrespectful attitude online on the survey. I immediately informed the Jewelry staff of the incident upon leaving.

This store is so clean and well organized! Yes the one at Crossiron mall is larger though this location is a gem!

Was with a friend, she finds clothes! A bright cheery store, lots of items and lots of smiling staff

I live in Airdrie and I still would rather drive into Calgary to go to another location then go to this Winners. Every section they have is small and mostly carry unknown brands or basics like Adidas, DKNY, Calvin Klein. I have never had luck buying clothes here so I don't bother anymore. Cosmetics section and shoes section are the smallest I've seen yet. Considering this is a brand new store and they had the ability to make it one of the higher end type stores, they really dropped the ball. I'd put it in the same category as the Deerfoot city location. This is also the first location I've been too that has one change room for men and women which I personally don't like and don't understand why they did it. I have found the staff to be quite rude, specifically the older women and on more then one occasion. I guess my conclusion is that I find this store disappointing and a waste of time which sucks because I was so excited when I found out they were building one in Airdrie finally. Ah well.

It feels like a small town winners, but there's one 10 minutes away at cross Iron. Really poor men's selection. It still winners so its better then most for price.

Very nice, modern new store, with wide alleys, and nicely laid out compared to some older stores that I've been in. A very pleasant shopping experience

I love Airdrie Alberta's Winners. There is plenty of name brand and cute or novelty merchandise to buy. The store is organized and the staff is friendly.

Staff are great but it's such a small store selection is quite limited, especially in the men's section

I'd give it a 5 star but I just can't. The men's selection is so weak compared to all the other ones that are so close to airdrie. Really wish they would carry more in real mens sizes. Not skinny boy Jean's and slim fit dress shirts.

But it is nice to see one here in airdrie.

They had 1 single outfit for 3T boys. We had to push the giant rack away from the big pillar that it was merchandised up against to be able to see a good 3 feet of the racking. Brand new store and I am extremely disappointed. I thought Airdrie would have had something for my kid.
It was also very messy. We did not want to look at anything else and dig through the mess. We spent about 5 minutes in the store and walked out dissatisfied and empty handed.

My family & I went to Winners right when it opened! We were welcomed and given a $10 gift card for being one of the first 100 people to enter the new & organized Winners.

Everything was well placed & set. There were more than enough staff, helping to any request that was asked. Throughout the whole day this modern Winners was packed & had a lot of traffic. We were pleased with our visit & will be coming back here again. Hopefully everybody else has the same wonderful experience that we had

I'm so glad this opened in Airdrie! Loved the selection & pricing. My go to for so many products. I've been back a few times already!

Staff was wonderful and rang customers through quickly. They handled a super busy day really well.
