Wolf Willow Medical Clinic

I went here today to see a doctor for personal reasons and I don’t think words i am about to write will do justice to Dr. Zayani but here how it goes. I see julie in reception and another lady i forget to get her name i walked in without appointment wait hour was very long because Dr. Zayani was the only doctor doing checkups for sunday. So receptionist mention that its alright we will give you call once 14 patients ahead of me will get attended so i left and went to other clinic they accepted me very quickly and now i know why so i shared my issues and Dr completely ignored me so i said well alright thanks for your time and suddenly i got a call from this clinic and i was there within 15 mins. Dr. Zayani attended me within 2 mins he understood what my situation is and solved it in 2 damn minutes he is not even my family doctor and the level of understanding and communication he personified clearly tells me that he is more than just a degree he did in medical school. Great human being and a wonderful doctor i requested him to be my family doctor but he is not accepting new patients. Anyways guys my message is please be kind and nice to reception and Dr’s they are human being like us. Treat them right and you will be treated even more better. Thanks again to Dr Zayani, Julie and other lady who gave me a call to comeback.

This clinic has an Awesome Medical Team, every single one of them is great. I’ve had the pleasure of having been treated by 2 Physicians in this clinic. Dr Alzdam is my Doctor and he treats me like he’s known me for decades as he’s very attentive and takes his time with me to make sure he fully understands my health issues and addresses them accordingly. I’ve been in better health lately because of him. Dr Zayani also changed my life during my doctor’s absence, these Doctors are surely a different breed because they understand their patients very well because they take their time to get to know your issues. I’ve never felt rushed in this office. The place does get busy, so make your appointments ahead of time. The staff are well trained and courteous. They also take walk in patients but it’s best to have an appointment that way you’re not waiting for a lifetime to be seen by the doctor. The clinic is always spotless even during the winter time. Is a busy clinic and their phones are usually busy, so make sure you have some time to spare when calling them. I guess when you have nice Doctors, everyone wants to go there. I give this place 11 out of 10 Stars. ********Update: Julie is awesome. We’ve dealt with her a couple times but she treats us as if she’s known us forever. She treats all patients like that, at least while we were sitting in the waiting room. This Clinic Rocks. ***

Terrible service by the receptionist they keep putting on hold then you wait on line for at least 20 minutes and then hang up!

The worst medical clinic that I have visited in Edmonton. I arrived at 11.15 a.m and after three hours and they attended all people that were comming without an appointment. The desktop staff after know my situation did nothing. They said I have to continue waiting for indefined time. How it happens; how the don't have the most minimun consideration and respect for people's time. The front desk staff could considere be more nice.

Perfect clinic experience. Needed to do a work medical a lot of clinics turned me away either no walk ins or no walk in medicals (cus they take longer than standard appointments) this clinic walked in friendly front desk staff took my info told me to wait. Waited a very very reasonable amount of time, I'm sure that will be different day to day.nurse took height weight etc. Dr was friendly preformed the medical as you would expect. Back out front where the front desk said they'd direct bill my company and send the paper work off. Honestly how I expect every Dr visit to be but how almost none are.

Literally the worst receptionist I have dealt with. Very ignorant, insulting and combative. Hangs up on you. Would be great if not for her. It’s funny how the poor reviews are centred around how horrible the reception is. You would think they would make a change.

Doctor is great and clinic is very nice. But I absolutely cannot reach them by phone or stuck on indefinite hold.

West of time they told us it will take 1 hour half we over wait 3 hours don't ever come if you are I rush no communication no respect you just keep waiting

2 stars because the doctor is friendly & the clinic is clean & tidy. However the receptionists’s customer service skills over the phone is severely lacking. If they don’t like what you’re saying they’ll cut you off, talk over you, won’t let you explain anything, & then when they’re done having a “conversation” with you they just rudely hang up the phone. (I put conversation in quotes because them not letting you getting a word in can hardly be described as a conversation.) They’ll also ask you why you’re being so rude towards them. Well, if they would let you talk & explain things instead of talking over you, then maybe the person wouldn’t come across as rude. I also had one receptionist tell me I was wasting their time & indirectly call me stupid. Completely unprofessional. This happened on May 11,2023 before 1pm. I dated & time stamped this so that if a supervisor happens to see this review they’ll know which receptionists are at fault

Called to see if I can do a walk in. Was told it would be 2 hours. Why do walk ins if you have to wait two hours. Just say no.

Dr zayani is amazing. He listens to you and properly assesses you. His staff is always caring and friendly. Highly recommend them

I see dr zayani, always listens and good bedside manor but I am writing the review cause I went in recently and I had a nurse her name I think is Toopé and she was so great and kind and funny. Happy to go here. What

The one answering the phone calls has no customer service skills. She was dismissive. She kept on saying “No No No”. No proper etiquette for her job not welcoming and just said that they are not accepting New patients with a tone as if she’s tired on what she is doing.

The clinic itself is very tidy and well kept, and the staff are genuinely nice and (in my experience) very helpful. I really like my physician, and I appreciate very much the flexibility with appointments and rescheduling. However, the phone system in this place is terrible. I don't know what's going on with it. It'll ring for a seemingly endless amount of time, and maybe sometimes the clinic's answering service kicks in, but then after waiting on hold, I'm oftentimes randomly disconnected. That is truly the only complaint I have about this clinic; otherwise I've had great experiences here.

**** Another Mistake ****
After my previous review it has been tough finding a Dr accepting new patients as my usual is between clinics. Today I booked an appointment here as I was T-Boned in a car accident yesterday. It’s now 1 hour passed my appointment time and I’m still waiting. Maybe stop offering promise times for walk ins and pushing them ahead of your appointments to make more money. I’m now going to miss my second appointment because I have waited for over an hour for a booked appointment and have yet to be seen.

Will never return and don’t recommend anyone to either.

Dr Hanna is a very patient and polite Doctor. For almost 2 years I was going to visit him for a few different concerns. Although it seems that they are not as meticulous on the follow up. I waited almost 5 weeks to find out they forgot to send my paperwork to the specialist. (Ankle injury and it was impacting my day). Once I called to follow up he had seemed to scramble and when straight out asked he did admit they dropped the ball. No issue as mistakes happen and he offered to “Fill out insurance forms you need to make up for it no charge. ” Seeing how I had moved at this point I emailed them over at his direction. Weeks go by and no follow up again. At which point they magically received the forwarded email over the phone. I heard him mutter something to the effect of “Oh it’s cause it wasn’t filled out”. Now it’s been yet again a couple weeks with no follow up. Please don’t offer to make up for a mistake by helping and then again delay the process causing me more money out of pocket and time. I don’t even feel like calling back to see if the form was actually sent this time as I asked for a confirmation in which they said they would send. Would not recommend for any treatments that require follow up. Extremely disappointed as my trust in you as a healthcare establishment has no costed me more money and delayed my recovery.

Dr. Alzdam has the worse bedside manners and zero compassion.
My wife spent an hour waiting in the clinic after the time of her appointment only to have her medical concerns dismissed.
He had the nerve to make it about him even, saying he had similar discomfort.
And then he forgot to order one of the requisition she was there for in the first place

One of the front desk staff was also incredibly rude when we tried to get to forgotten requisition. One was able and willing to help but the second was so rude!

My family and I have been seeing Dr Zayani for years, he’s the best doctor in the city and really cares about his patients needs! Highly recommended

After healthcare has become partly privatized it’s been impossible to get care right away when you need it. This clinic was a life saver, they still actually take walk-ins! The reception staff are very kind and doctor Alzdam was very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing help right away. Thank you so much to everyone at Wolf Willow

Reading the reviews looks like the bureaucracy of the clinic is the worst. I was in the clinic 5: 40pm more than an hour before they close. No waiting patients on the hall and they told me that they can not attend me because it’s too late. And in top of that the receptionist said that they don’t take walks in after 5 pm. I told them that there is no information how so ever on the website about this rule. Nevertheless they didn’t take me in. Just playing with the health of the people. Very disappointed on how are taxes are handle with this bad services.

Dr Zayani, has a great bedside manner every time you see him. He is polite, smiling, respectful and professional. He always present and engaged. He focuses on your medical issues and best treatment for you! The front line staff also are always pleasant and professional. Thank you for taking such good care of all you serve!

Got an appointment at 3pm been here 40 minutes and still didn’t call me. I do understand that clinic is always busy but what’s the point of getting an appointment if you wait this long. In the other hand my doctor is nice. I would not complain but the service is terrible. I think walk in is better than appointment cos they prioritize the walk in rather than the one with appointment.

The doctors here are very nice. But the staff.i forgot to ask the name when i phoned.is soooooo rude! I was still on the line thinking what to say and then she hangs up on me! Wondering how she gets in this kind of industry. The attitude. Very unprofessional! Hopes the management here also pays attention on the attitude of their staffs.

Great experience at Wolf Willow Clinic. The receptionist was amazing and even though there was a long wait she gave me some options and I felt much more comfortable, I'm so glad I could get in when I couldn't at a few other clinics near by and I needed to be seen that day. Dr. Hanna was very thorough and knowledgeable, kind. Thank you for a very positive experience.

The staff named mikey or nikki is so rude and impatient.they put me on hold and I was patiently waited but when she talk to me back she is on a rush and not listening to my concern of my booking, and I am still talking then she just put me on hold. I am so much upset, doctor Zayani is our family doctor and he is a really good doctor. I am expecting that the staff will be nice and friendly.

Dr. Zayani is a superhero. He is very supportive of my physical and mental challenges. He makes time to care.

Dr. Zayani is always smiling. He listens, and finds the best solutions for you individually. I am currently driving an hour one way just to see him.

A member of my household waited for nearly an hour past their appointment time, hoping they can improve on their time management as otherwise there are no concerns with this clinic!

The female doctor here is extremely rude and judgemental. She does not listen and knows very little about anything medical. Just go to another doctor trust me.

All those 5 stars coments are fake or being paid for, that doctor is arrogant, treats his staff like garbage, shame on you doctor Zayani!

Dr Zayani has been my doctor for many years and I would follow him to whatever clinic he is at. Now that he has his new clinic here this is the location I go to as well. I have had many doctors in my 56yrs and with my severe medical problems and disabilities he is very understanding and takes lots of tests to make sure he has covered everything and answers any questions I have to ensure I understand, not just the in and out doctors I had seen in the past. His staff is so wonderful, patient and helpful as well. He keep a very clean office and I don't have to wait a long time to see him when I make an appointment he does his best to stay on schedule. I can't say enough but I like and trust him enough that I now have other family members seeing him now as well.

Very clean and Dr Zayani is one of the best doctors I have had. Takes his time and explains everything.
