I’m really happy I went to this place, I was able to get my mom to call for me first. I just had to confirm the appointment, that helped me a lot.
Second, The social worker was very supportive and someone really great to talk to. Third, I really appreciate how you are given a blanket then a gown to cover your bottom half. They always had something playing in the back around, I had gotten sick from anxiety I was able to find someone to help me calm down with something cold. When I heard the other women they talked to me the whole time to get my mind off of it and turn up the music so I didn’t panic.
It’s the little they did, i didn’t think of it till now I really think it would be helpful to make a pamphlet for whoever is taking care of the patient at home. I know there is one about aftercare but just more on what to look for in caring. My support system doesn’t always know what to do or say.

Everything seemed great right up until the procedure was taking place and the trauma-informed care evaporated. I had hoped for better considering the primary services offered here, had come on my family physician's rec, and had tried my best to self-advocate leading up to the appt at every step to no real avail. Support staff were all mostly great, aside from hearing one nurse comment "Did we get a screamer? " (in reference to my reaction to the pain of the procedure) while I was sitting sobbing in the recovery area, at which point I wanted nothing more than to get out of there. It all served to undermine the steps they took along the way to make patients feel more comfortable. Will be going elsewhere in future for my reproductive needs.

I was incredibly anxious going into my appointment as this was my first time. The staff were amazingly warm and welcoming and took a lot of stress away.

I called to inquire about IUD insertions. Specifically what they do to control pain. I have had a few now and know what works and doesn’t for myself. I was put on the phone with a nurse that acted like I was asking for the moon by asking about pain management other than Advil. The options are to be sedated for $250 or take Advil and nothing in between. I am so very disappointed with this as those options simply do not work for me.

I never leave reviews but had such a positive experience here that I had to. I had an IUD removal under sedation here and cannot recommend this clinic enough. My previous experiences with IUD insertion/removal have been excruciatingly painful - they made it significantly more comfortable. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. And instead of those thin paper sheets, they give you soft fluffy blankets to cover up your bottom half with. If you have difficulty with IUD procedures, definitely give them a call - they were wonderful.

I was referred to Women’s Health Options by the Lois Hole early pregnancy assessment program. I had high anxiety and was very emotionally distraught. The entire staff treated me with such kindness and compassion throughout the entire process. I received top of the line care from every single person I encountered here. Extremely thankful for everyone at WHO.

My friend is still aching from her quick decision she felt this place pressured her to make. Was absolutely horrifying!

I'm not proud of the choice, but I've made it more times then I like to admit, been heer numerous times and the staff have always been so kind, non judgemental like it was my first visit there. 100% trust the staff. So nice. Understanding. No matter how many times I've been a patient. They always treated me with respect n dignity. Thank-you so much w.h. O Haley.

I had my procedure done yesterday and I would say it was a great experience from the front desk up to the recovery room. The nurses were so accomodating, very welcoming, no judgement or anything, they would make you feel so comfortable and heard. Doctor Long was extremely good on what she is doing and also I forgot the name of the nurse (she has eyeglasses) that was with Doc Long, she was such a sweetheart! She made me so relax, and comfortable, she is the best, both of them made the procedure so easy and extremely gentle, little to none pain at all!

I have zero pain tolerance and was so scared but everything went like a breeze! Thank you to everyone at WHOlt, I appreciate your service! Thank you thank you

I had an IUD removal done here and I'm SO glad I chose this clinic! Every member of staff I dealt with was so kind and informative, and made me feel welcome, safe, and cared for. I opted for the conscious sedation medication and I'm very happy I did. Recovery was very smooth. Thank you Woman's Health Options for this pleasant experience!

I was scheduled an appointment here from the Early Pregnancy Assessment Program at the Royal Alex as I had an incomplete miscarriage and needed a DNC to remove the remaining tissue. Everyone I dealt with was fantastic and made the procedure so easy - I was definitely nervous beforehand! They had comfy chairs to sit in which is great because you’re there for 4 hours. I don’t remember the procedure at all, my memory is very foggy, but I do remember the nurse holding my hand which was very comforting. Thank you so much for everything you do ️

I came here to get an IUD for the first time and it went as well as it could. The people here were nice, respectful and informative. I was told about everything I needed to know and all of my questions were answered. I was really nervous and the doctor and nurse were very comforting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get an IUD inserted. The wait was a little while but the procedure was quick.

I was so nervous for my appointment but the staff were so sweet and made me feel really safe. I didn't get her name but the older orange haired nurse was so incredibly sweet, I was hyperventilating during my procedure and she talked me through it and helped me out so much. Only have great things to say about this clinic! They make you feel comfortable and safe. I really appreciate nurse Sam for letting me hold her hand during the procedure. Everyone was very kind! And as a healthcare professional myself, I really appreciate the good care! Thanks ladies.

This clinic and the people who run it are AMAZING! 100% would recommend going here, if you need their assistance for your pregnancy term.needs. Safety and accessibility are a necessity, and I am so thankful they offer both of those & more.

Got my IUD inserted in 2020, it was very painful but over quickly and I don’t have to worry about it until 2025. I wish they had the option to use a numbing injection or give cervix softeners beforehand, they didn’t when I went but maybe it’s different now. Thank you all for the work you do.

I had such a great experience here. The staff is absolutely amazing, they really helped keep my nerves in check. They treat you with nothing but kindness and compassion. The staff there are super respectful and kind. This was something that I was terrified to do, but the way they handled everything was done in a manner where I felt safe and reassured. I never felt alone when everything was happening and just want to thank them for the amazing work they do!
