Always perfect. The bag of frozen wontons are great to buy and take home also for a quick meal.

Wonton King has been a favourite restaurant for almost 20 years, and it’s still as delicious today as it was the first time I went. They have a larger selection of soup now, with wor wonton being my favourite, but the curry soup is also delicious.
Definitely a 5-star and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some
delicious soup.
Also, their Heavenly Flavours Chili oil is delicious! I pick up a bottle on my yearly trip to Wonton King (I don’t live in Calgary anymore, and visit yearly).

It has been almost 8 years since I had Wonton King. It tastes just like it It back then. The best Wonton soup I have ever had.

Best hot sauce on the planet. Or, since it’s called ‘heavenly’, maybe in the entire metaphysical universe.

Great selection of soup flavours so I asked the counter attendant what her favourite was. I really enjoyed the curry wonton soup she suggested. Perfect balance of heat, salt etc. Had fresh bean sprouts and those square puffs that soak up the tasty coconut broth and peanut sprinkled on top. Couldn't possibly eat it all. Next time I would ask for a few less noodles. I will be back to try some more of the flavours.

Was not made as requested. Showed up cold. Liquid in the bag. Curry dish just tasted like a bowl of butter. Feeding it to dogs.

Amazing food. Got it to go to eat later in the day. Staff went above and beyond to make sure it would hold up for us. It tasted amazing. Would highly recommend.

Food was delicious. Good and fast service. However, I have been on the toilet almost every hour since my lunch break when I ate there (it’s been 12 hours since eating there). Without being accusatory, perhaps food safety may have be an issue there today. I wish that the food didn’t make me sick. I want to love this place but I really can’t.

Your business hours are terrible. The average person who works 9-5 can't even enjoy your delicious food.

Seems to be much smaller portion sizes than at King's. Wontons are smaller and too much Bok Choy in the wor won ton. I have only ever eaten at King's, and it has been a while, but this was a bit disappointing.

Delicious, and the wontons were fantastic, but not great value for very expensive soup.

I had wor wonton sup there today and 2 spring rolls. My wife had Thai sweet and sour soup. The noodls in my soup were crumpled like they were frozen before. Wontons were just OK at best. My wife ate barely a third of her soup. The spring rolls tasted awful, I took it our dog who was waiting in the car and he hesitated to eat it.
I was 3 times there: first time, last time and never again.
Did I mention it's rediculously expensive?

Sweet employees, and probably the best spring rolls I've had! The chili oil is always to die for, I adore their food! The pork kimchi dumpling are my favorite!

Service was good. Ordered take out. Got home 10 min later and it was cold. Serving sizes are getting rediculouslly small for what you pay. Very disappointed. Liked kings on Barlow better but unfortunatelly they moved to an incovenient location. Very disappointed!

Waited almost half hour for broth and veg to be put in a plastic container to take away. 2 people working.one in the back microwaving the food and a lady perhaps in the washroom? As she came back and quickly rinsed her hands to put our food together. Amidst covid, a quick rinse when serving is unacceptable. Have been the many times before, so this was disappointing. There were 4 people ahead of us and 1 pick up order but I still can't understand the lengthy wait and lack of care for your client's health King.

Food is great, but the wait time is far to long at lunch time. Two people working only seems like far two little for peak business times. The lady at the front is friendly, but overworked dealing with walk ins, answering the phone, helping in the back bagging soup to go etc. While the lady in the back does not seem to be in any hurry. Had to wait in line 10 minutes before my order was taken with only one person ahead of me, than another 15 waiting for my Asian curry soup which I gather has to be made from scratch. So by the end of it my lunch is half over before I get food. I understand COVID 19 and everything but I think one more employee to help is probably not asking much.

Amazing soup. I've been coming here for years and it's always great. The spring rolls and fried wontons are so good!

Was sadly disappointed. Tried it because I love wor wonton but wont waste my time or money there again. Tasteless mass produced fast food equivalent of wor wonton.

It's a good place to eat, I'm only giving them 4 out of 5 as I specifically go in for BBQ pork but they didn't have any, and that is the second time I was let down. I had the teriyaki chicken which was good. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is always clean/presentable.

I used to love this place! I went today to order takeout and I am so disappointed! I ordered a chicken rice bowl. To start they were out of fried rice so offered me steamed, fine. The chicken (I'm not even sure it's chicken) is all dark, weird texture and full of gristle! $13 for this! I tossed it in the garbage! I will NOT be back! NASTY!

Had their freshly made wonton soup for the first time recently, and it tasted great! I will definitely be back there for more!

I have been going to wonton King for years and loved it but as of late it has not been as good. The prices have jumped quite a bit and the portions have shrunk. The wontons use to be amazing; they were large and filled with meat. Now the wontons are quite a bit smaller at this location and don't seem to have the same signature flavor they use to. The food is ok now and I wish they would go back to the original huge wonton

This place never has food! We drive down all the time and they are out of half the menu at 1230!

Just went again and it’s 1235 and they don’t have enough noodles and bbq pork to fill 2 orders.

This franchise owner is terrible and should have the sign removed!

We used to go pretty regularly but have dropped off. The food tastes good but the costs seem to be going up for less food. The wait times are sometimes longer than you would expect.

Small portions not like it was I wont be back sad as I went there for 30 years was good not no more

Very bad value for money. They serve their food in plastic and styrofoam! And it's not cheap neither great taste. Would not recommend.

A good friend of mine took me here to try Wonton Soup for my first time. I quite enjoyed it, very flavourful, and the service was fine. This was my first Wonton Soup restaurant therefore I have no baseline of comparison hence, the 4 star rating.

Like everyone else is saying: The lunch special is still tasty but now has a reduced portion and is waaaayyyy overpriced. Doubtful I'll return.

A big bowl of Seafood wor wonton soup that was $11 for years is now $26
No soup is worth that price tag

Long time customer here will be looking for somewhere else for a good soup

I used to love getting my soup here. The replace the mushrooms with Edamame Beans. Won't be buying it anymore. It is unfortunate that they have changed the menu so much. Its not the same. They should have renamed the restaurant as well. My thought is that customers go there because of the menu and quality WontonKing has provided over the years.but now its a new restaurant with different recipe and menu. Even their famous "War Won Ton is different. It is no long "wontonking" that I came to enjoy.
