We always order from Wonton King. My staff all love it. Best wontons in the city and the staff is always sweet and good to us!

We’ve been coming here for over ten years because the Wor Wonton Soup is hearty, fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly, the prices are great. I would definitely recommend Wonton King for lunch or take home to your freezer.

I have tried reaching out to this restaurant since back in November and still have yet to have my matters addressed. While they have awesome food, their service is lacking. Multiple times, we have been given our order with missed items. We pay extra for appetizers like their spring rolls or add ons like extra wontons and it seems nearly every time there is a mistake. When this happens constantly, it sure does add up for how much we pay and how much we aren’t receiving.

The last time my husband and I ordered for pickup through their website they ended up sending our order with a delivery driver by mistake. Forcing him to wait again for them to remake our entire order. Once he got home we were really disappointed to see half of our order was still missing. Partially on us for not checking when he was there that all of the items were given, but at the same time we shouldn’t have to do that on every single order.

As I said, great food but seriously lacking quality with customer service and preparedness. Super disappointed as we ordered here for so long as they were once our favourite, but are now going with another restaurant as it’s gotten mentally draining ordering from here.

Love your soup! And I love that you are using a container that is zero waste. I come here because you guys know wontons I tell you! And I can never finish my soup so I get to have it two days in a row! Bonus!

I come to Wonton King twice a week.
That’s the best place to get hot and spicy soup.
Their yellow curry soup is amazing.
Nice personnel, huge portions.

Wonton King is always great food! I’ve been coming for 20 years (old restaurant on Barlow). This location is fast, clean, friendly and convenient! Ample parking. I’ll be back I’m sure!

Recently portion size had significantly been reduced. Shrinkflation is worse than price inflation in my mind.

Food was sub-par. Service was friendly and quick. If you're looking for a cheap, quick, and unassuming bowl of soup, I guess this is the place?

Won Ton King used to be one our favorite places for War Won Ton soup. Although it's still good, several other restaurants have surpassed them in quality. The Won Tons are still tasty but the broth needs improving to keep up with others. That's why I could only rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Great soup, but the owner keeps all the tips! Remember to tip cash here if you can.

EDIT: I was actually informed years ago, by a different employee about the owner keeping the tips for themselves. They suggested I tip cash, so the owner couldn’t take it. I work nearby, and eat there all the time. I decided to ask a different worker there awhile ago to see if the owner still took the tips for themselves, and the worker said yes. I’m not sure how a worker could work somewhere for several months as you say, and not know how the tips work.

I stand by my review, as multiple employees have told me you keep their tips. Which is not an acceptable practice in my eyes.

Ordered wonton and noddle.everything was readied in one minute.you pay $14 + for precooked 2 wontons（ONLY ）and soggy noddles. I will never return to this “restaurant”

Ive eaten at Kings for over 20 years now. Through that time they had an ownership/location/recipe changes. Went for lunch today and got the Wor Wonton soup, an item that made them famous in Calgary (other than the chili sause). It was disappointing although on the surface of things it was an attempt at a good Wor Wonton the wheat noodles had a paste like texture/flavor and the broth was lacking the richness its known for. Not to mention it was served with plastic spoon/bowl even when dinning in restaurant.felt very lazy (old/tired is what my buddy described it as). I likely will not be returning unless they have a huge shift in direction.

I havent eaten there in a few years but whats up with the spaghetti noodles? Its legit horrific had to toss it.

The soup isn't as good as it used to be but is still pretty good. The eat in situation leaves much to be desired. Either way it's still a decent wonton place if your in a hurry and don't mind the hospital food court feeling.

The friendliest staff! Their wor wonton soup is a staple in my diet and they never disappoint. Always tasty and always consistent. Order a King size for lunch and be prepared to skip dinner.

Techie was super sweet and kind. I asked her to get me whatever is quickest and immediately she got me something delicious in record time. This is my second coming here. Beautiful chill vibe and beats. Nobody Wanna See Us Together by Akon was playing, a personal favourite of mine. Artistically decorated.

The spring rolls are for sure a must have special add on. Highly highly recommend. Looking forward to coming by more often for midday work lunches.

Favorite place for years. Apettizers and dumplings if you want to eat in. Sea food or Wor WonTon soup reccomended.

Wor wonton soup is what kings restaurant is sbout. Deep fried wonton are a good choice for appetizers dipped in plum sauce.
The Original kings on centre Ave ne which is no longer there was the best. They used to have a toasted Denver sandwich that I can't find anywhere else that was to die for.

This Family treats their customers like true friends & always have in my experience over the past 30+ years! Extremely clean & welcoming environment although I must say I miss the old location terribly!

We arrived at 215 closing time is 3 the lady at the counter was so rude, we couldnt pay cash cause she was doing a cash out, we were told we couldnt eat in we had to take out, we sat to eat we were waiting for our food, as it was coming over the counter the deep fried wonton flew of the plate, the rude lady picked them up and passed them to me, i ordered ginger pork, when i got it it had rice i ordered a full serving no rice.i took it back to the counter told her it was wrong, she handed it to the other man waiting, i had it at my table took a piece out of it and she put a lid on it and gave it to another customer. Over all experience was not good.total discussed on the service angela and chris would never treat customers like this.very displeased. I worked for this family for years, they never treared customers like this,

OMGOSH.what a rude and disrespectful lady at the front.really made me question, why I even stopped here, never mind ordering anything.
Came in at 2: 20pm on a Wednesday to get a bowl of their "famous" wonton soup.
I ordered and paid, said it was to stay, then sat down. Then it starts, "we close at 3: 00, yeah, in 40 minutes.then the request 5 times for my passport and id. She then walks away and from behind the counter now, she starts again with the id.is she didn't walk away, she would have seen it on the table.again with the comment we are closing at 3: 00. Then again with the ID. Finally I said, if you didn't walk away, you would have seen it on the table. She goes back behind the counter, then says I have to sign in too. Doesn't indicate where and because I don't jump up right away, she starts again, you have to sign in. I ask her where? She points to the garbage.oh how nice.
The food comes for being the best seller of wonton soup, it wasn't impressive. For $16.00 it was a small plastic bowl. 5 or 6 wonton that were over cooked, the noodle skin was falling apart The vegetables were nice, but the soup is called wonton soup, not veggie soup.
I would suggest trying a different wonton king, not here unless you enjoy a disrespectful lady beaking off at you.

We have been going to Kings for years but when they closed we needed a quick replacement for their amazing Wor wonton soup. The reviews were great so we thought we would try it out. Turns out its the same lovely people that we have been going to see for over 30 years! They are so kind and the food is amazing! If you are looking for a long term Wor wonton commitment then I (and my whole family) highly suggest giving them a try!

I am so glad I found this place. It has the best wor wonton noodle soup I have ever had! Full of flavour and generous portions as a bowl per person. This is my go-to now for wonton soup!

I work pretty close to here so I always go for the $10 lunch bowl on rice. The staff is super friendly and the food is always amazing and consistent. If you come make sure to grab a jar of the Heavenly Hot Sauce because it is soo good.

I love their wonton soup. We get it all the time. The people there are also very nice and easy to deal with.

I started working in the same business park as this location a month ago and I absolutely love it! I get my lunch here 2-3 times a week and I cannot get enough of their rice bowls!

Would recommend to anyone looking for a authentic culinary experience.

I was here a couple weeks ago. Been awhile since I had there worwonton soup. Use to go to Barlow all the time before they closed. I wasn't impressed with how small the bowls are and no barbeque pork on top. Price is High. I think $13.75. Wont be back. Use to pay $10.00? It's to bad a bowl almost half the size costs 1 and a half times more with less ingredients. Customer must PAY? I HAVE eaten here before and was good. Gone down hill.

Amazing wor wonton soup and the dumplings are out of this world! Always friendly service and the hot sauce will blow your socks off!

Wonton King is such a good restaurant with amazing food and very kind and welcoming staff.
I love all the food especially the Hot and Sour Soup! It's absolutely delicious. I ordered food for a group of 10 people and everyone was more than happy with the soups and spring roles. Excellent work guys!

Such good war wonton my favorite go to place for soup. Heard real good things about the Chinese food but can never pull my away from the soup to order it.

Went for the wor wonton soup Very disappointed* Wontons were great *the broth was bland next to no veggies 'shreds of pork were fatty strips, noodles were under cooked.

I really enjoy their WorWonTon, I ordered it today with the vermicelli noodles and that’s my new favorite. Rice noodles instead of the wheat noodles. Staff are always SO kind here. Good food quality, prepared quickly. Delicious house made chilies oil. Highly recommend.

The staff is nice good atmosphere. The portion sizes use to be very good value for the money now they are very small not worth it anymore.

I love all these Won ton king restaurants but today I visited this one in McCall for the first time and the service was amazing. The cashier was great at explaining the menu and very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone. Her name I believe is Techie.

The menu and recipe changed in 2018, not as good any more. We will find a new soup place in 2019, this is no longer worth going to.

I absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing. The staff makes me feel like family. I go here often. I'm am always remembered and greeted with a smile. They've even stayed open late to feed me (AFTER CLEANUP!). I recommend you go in and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Prices went up, service is slow, they request a tip at the till and they include a free bottle of room temperature water with some purchases. Great.

Do not care for the changes. Our soup was not as anywhere as good as before. Only one size available. Not a lot of vegetables except for a ton of edame beans. No mushrooms, cauliflower, the pork was tough and had gristle. Used to be our favourite place for Wonton. Will be going elsewhere.
