I went out of my way to go there, and I was disappointed. Yes, the staff is nice, but the prices are crazy, not a big place, not a big selection.very disappointed.
I have been to many stores around the world, like Japan, US, Europe, and this was the most pleasant experience, felt love from the staff, good quality products and tidy place. I will donate my stuff here just because of this people. Hugs to all the staff!
I really like that they have vintage sewing notions like buttons, zippers, cotton tape (NOT polyester!), lace! Also a lovely selection of household goods and furniture!
Clean place, and well laid out. I was looking for a couple specific housewares items and there's not a ton of selection here. The furniture and clothing departments were well stocked. Very small kids section.
Great little thrift store. Staff is very religious so be prepared to overhear church talk as you shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. The whole store shakes when the train goes by. The wares are extremely well organized. Great selection of books and furniture.
I love their Christmas Market! Was my first time going this year and I found so many treasures! Plus! They don't jack up the prices like. Value Village
I almost hate to tell anyone how outstanding the furniture selection is because I want it all! ️ The staff are super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back.
Pleasant service, clean and organised items, will come back again. I don’t know what more to write, just come and see with your eyes. I never thought thrift store could be like THIS. Wow.
Decent items. Great staff. Fun place to treasure hunt for kids clothes or knick knacks or small item furniture. Found this beautiful art set for $7 for the pair. Needs work but why not!
Went in this store this morning for a dress for a stagette, the sweet lady I asked for assistance from was so much fun and such a joy to engage with, and was so very helpful. Even if the discount she pushed for to get me was rejected once i got to the counter to pay. It didn't matter she was an absolute gem and the dress fit and was what i was looking for. Thank you to the sweet lady that helped me today you absolutely made our morning and experience fabulous
It's a bit on the smaller size, they tend to have great items for their silent auction all the time as far as for the everyday shopping Iwouldnt say it's the best selection for the younger crowd, but great things for your over 60 crowd
Went to several other thrift stores to find some things for a DIY project. World serve was by far the cheapest, friendliest and most helpful of the stores I went to
Have made some fantastic purchase here. Definately worth the trip. Store is well organized and kept very clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definately be returning
This place has discriminatory and unethical practices that I have witnessed. I would encourage you to learn more about their nepotistic and toxic work environment.
Terrible policies and the items are in gross condition. Many items are caked in food splatter, dust, dirt, etc. And they will sell incomplete items claiming they have been tested etc, and once you realize and go back they tell you, no returns. Waste of time and money. They also charge waaaaaay more at this thrift store than any other in the city. We tested it, 3 seperate thrift stores sold guitar hero controllers for $15, even one in BRAND NEW condition. The one at this store was in the worst condition of the 4 AND it was $40, incomplete
Its a bit of a smaller store but I have never left without a cool find. The prices are great for clothes. They have a lot of interesting things on top of the normal stuff you would find. Way cheaper than value village just a lot smaller or I would have given 5 stars all day.
Excellent selection. Well organized and very friendly staff. Just picked up a really nice drill set for 18 bucks! Can't go wrong with these kinds of finds.
Went in to check out their clothing selection. It was small but ok, easy to go through and not crammed like other thrift stores. The pricing was quite reasonably lower than others which is good and they have a clearance rack marked for $1. Worth a check.
A very strange thrift store that benefits a religious cause. They always have the strangest assortment of items and always have an impressive display of haunted dolls. They also always have a lot of old electronics that other thrift stores would throw out. They also keep a lot of VHS tapes around. It's definitely well kept, but the whole place kind of has a strange vibe.
One of the best thrift stores in Calgary! I always find something here. The prices are really low but the items are of good quality. The staff and volunteers are very nice and put in effort to make my experience in the store great. I also love the fact that they’re a non-profit and all proceeds go to a good cause. When I go thrifting, WorldServe is my top choice.
Absolutely beautiful store. Most thrift stores have a somewhat run down feel, but this store has a very clean feeling to it, almost like a Home Sense-kinda store. The staff is very nice, they greeted me as soon as I came into the store, and their merchandise had very good prices. I go thrifting pretty often, but this was by far one of the best stores and overall experiences I've had.
One of the few thrift stores, that hasn't jacked up their prices. I love browsing around and usually find great deals on craft items, knick knacks and gardening supplies. Thank you for this store!
One of my favourite thrift stores! The people here are so lovely, and everything is actually at thrift store prices. Plus- it’s all going to a good cause! Sometimes can be busy, especially on weekends.
