Yard Dawgs Lawn Care

Yard Dawgs was able to come visit my house to get rid of Chinch bugs within a few days of my request. Caleb was great and explained everything when he arrives and was thorough with the spray.

Price is very reasonable, always punctual and responds quickly. Got the Fall package and weed control, the latter seems to be doing alright, Too early to comments on how well the Fall treatment worked, will update next year.

Daniel was out a few weeks ago to fall fertilize and spray some weed control. My lawn is looking fantastic!

Have used Yard Dawgs a number of years ago for spring clean up. First time using them for weed control and fertilizer this year. Gabe did an excellent job, he was very professional, informed me what he will be doing and answered all my questions, he is very patient and knowledgeable! The weeds are almost all gone, I love the idea of having spot weed control 'top-ups' included in the price if any pop up. This company is punctual, professional and their products work, I have no reservation in recommending them.
Follow-up: I am still using Yard Dawgs for my lawn care needs, specifically for weed control. Caleb has done a wonderful job. Now if only they could have a way to eradicate creeping bell flower! Daniel was out last and did a great job!

This is our first year having Yard Dawgs Lawn Care take care of our lawn. Our yard before Yard Dawgs was not in best condition. We had a trampoline for years and the grass was almost dead under the trampoline. Lots of weeds.
The technician took very good care, and with the seeds they suggested and fertilizer they used the lawn now looks amazing!

I hired Yard Dawgs and after only just a couple of days had passed, I have had two technicians come out and begin treating my lawn. They were very friendly over the phone and helped me pick a "package" that best fit my needs/seasonal restrictions. I was also reassured over the phone that the treatments were Dog friendly but to keep everyone off the lawn until the next day following a treatment for maximum effectiveness. So far I have had Caleb and Daniel come out to service the lawn and they were both very friendly. I was given a breakdown of the services for both visits keeping me in the loop as well. This service has felt very professional and the techs seem very knowledgable. So far I've been very impressed with their customer service! Although it's too early to tell how effective these treatments have been in reviving my lawn at this time, I would still recommend this company and the techs (Caleb/Daniel) based on my experience so far!

Only where they the only ones who got back to me but they kept me informed, quoted me with no hidden fees and finally checked my property and determined I did not need the service uI had hired them for so they didn’t even charge me for the trip! This was our first year using Yard Dawgs and we would highly recommend them. We really liked the fact that they have unlimited weed control applications and grass looked very healthy all summer. Customer service is A1! They are quick to answer questions and quick to respond to any extra needs. I especially enjoyed the email tutorials on how to best take care of your grass. Wow, Yard Dawgs, a local lawn care company, is amazing. The communication with this company has been top-notch since we booked with them. As a new customer, we appreciate the time Nathan took today to educate us on proper lawn care. Nathan just completed the first fertilizing and weed control application and went above and beyond with the care given. We also added an overseed treatment knowing that it was needed due to the condition of our lawn. Nathan is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about lawn care. Continued outstanding service - now into July. This week Zach came by to apply soil conditioner, known as "sunscreen for the lawn". This sea kelp product keeps the moisture in the lawn/keeps lawn greener for longer. Do not need to water as often! Great for the hot weather we have been having. Zach spent time answering questions on lawn issues. His positive and engaging attitude is appreciated. Same for the office sales associates. Victor was also helpful and friendly!

I've used their services for fertilizer and weed control. The product is great, not a weed in sight, and the fertilizer program keeps the grass green and doesn't burn.

The technicians also are very friendly and personable and follow up with you to make sure they've done their job and also ask customers for ways to make their work even better. So far I am very happy with their service.

We've been using Yard Dawgs for three years, and our lawn has never been so healthy. Gabe has been amazing. He always let's us know when he's arrived, and he's very polite. As are all the service guys.
On his last visit for weed control, Gabe sprayed weeds other companies have previously ignored.

Fertilization, weed control and airation were the services I recieved. The lawn is thicker and more lush looking and in particular there are few if any weeds. I'm very satisfied with the job they have done and will be booking them for next year.

This is our second summer with yard dawgs and the service is amazing! They take such great care of the grass and are always coming by to do something to help it. It’s really helped with the pee spots, which are brutal with our 110lb female dog

It was Kody’s first day on the job training with Joseph and they were so wonderful. They were both kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking and it was clear that Joseph was a great mentor for Kody. Yard Dawgs also has really excellent customer service. I had a concern at the beginning of my time with them regarding my lawn treatment and they emailed me promptly and were diligent in getting the issue resolved and going to extra mile.

This company is new to me but I am totally satisfied with their service. There is a detailed report after service showing the status of the yard and what need to do to make it looks great. I use weed control/fertilizer service. I see the big difference in few weeks. I am selling the house now and will go back again when I get the new one.

Great personalized service from the first phone call through to meeting our very professional technician. Joseph will be looking after our yard for the season, and he did a wonderful job of explaining how the yard work would be done; how to look after it and discussed the safety of children and pets. Joseph, and the company, really care about their customers! Very nice!

GABE was fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable! He knocked to let me know he was going to perform weed control and not to let the dogs out for 12 hours. We used Yard Dawgs last year and made sure to sign up again this year as the results were dramatic in year one!

Dealt with chronic dandelions in my yard for years. First hired Yard Dawgs last season and started to notice a huge improvement right away. Our weeds at the start of this season are WAY down thanks to last years treatments. We hired them again this year and have so far received a spring fertilizer and weed treatment. Joseph is our technician here in Calgary and was super courteous and professional. It's nice to have a dedicated technician throughout the season.

I purchased the St. Bernard package over the phone and the Customer Service Rep is utmost pleasant and professional on the phone. I had Joseph showed up twice now as part of the package and he was very courteous and professional. I haven't noticed anything yet but these things to take time to take effect so I'm excited to see the improvements to my lawns.

Gabe from Yard Dawgs is our dedicated technician and he was very pleasant to deal with. Fast service, and excellent with the instruction for continued lawn care. I do wish there was a bit more communication around timelines when we first signed up for the service as I was close to cancelling after not getting an eta for our first service for several weeks. But the service and technician we’re both excellent and would use again in a heartbeat.
