100% Recommend Dr Kendra and her office! It's a great vet clinic, they always take great care of all my animals!

My dog fell on the stairs and messed up her back, legs bad, and her spine a bit and from day one they’ve been fantastic in helping me Gate all this. Prior to this I had my good buddy come down with cancer, and again they were above and beyond in their help Even after he Died. They blew me away with their empathy.

Amazing! They never try push me for anything I don’t need. I also have a dog with crazy allergies and Dr. Kendra has a dog with similar issues so she understands Liam’s allergies. I have been to other vets and they take advantage and recommend things that aren’t needed. Highly recommend! Super friendly!

Great Vet. They are great with the animals and are open and up front when talking about the pet in question. They are very nice and helpful an take the time to explain and make you feel good about what is happening and how to best care for your pet.
I would highly recommend them to look out for your pet.

We came upon Yellowhead Vet Clinic while we were in a crisis with our cat Albert. We had just moved to Alberta, and didn't have a vet yet.
All the vets we called were busy (they were also very supportive of other vets, recommendations were made with respect and genuine compassion)
Every call, our appointments and the sad outcome were handled so professionally. Albert, my husband and myself were shown such tender care. This was an all around awful time for us. Each staff member was so kind. It is never easy to make a difficult, and unfortunately necessary decision.

I am comforted knowing our Albert recieved the best care in his sudden illness. You could say my husband and I did too

The ladies were nice and helpful. The vet was awesome, he got on the ground and got to know the dogs, listened to all my concerns. This vet was recommended to me from a long time client who lost their dog and said they helped the family get through that tough time.prices were reasonable.would definitely recommend!

They really saved me on a last min issue I had come up. Their staff and vets were all really friendly and helpful. My dog was treated well. Anyone considering a new vet should strongly consider them.

We met with Dr. Kendra Doornenbal and the team at Yellowhead Veterinary Clinic today for vaccinations and a general health check for our 4 year old dog Cooper. Dr. Kendra was recommended to us by Colleen McCarvill, CDBC. Cooper has complex emotional and behavioral needs, so finding a veterinary team that understands and priorities the emotional experience of the animal and of the guardian was of primary importance to us. Dr. Kendra had reviewed Cooper's records prior to our arrival and presented a minimally invasive plan for sedation in the parking lot using a 'walk-by' technique. Dr. Kendra's understanding of complex companion animals and her confidence in execution resulted in Cooper being unaware of her presence and completely non-reactive while the sedation was administered. Dr. Kendra completed a full examination, vaccinations, and a blood draw, answering all of our questions thoughtfully. We left the clinic today with a concrete plan for both routine and emergency veterinarian care for Cooper after three years with no options for veterinarian care that adequately met Cooper's needs. Thank you Yellowhead Veterinary Clinic for supporting Cooper with such compassion and understanding, this level of care is unparalleled in our experience.

Jade had a mass from her neck removed and Dr. Kendra said because of Jade being 14 years old it's good to have the dental care done while she's still sedated.

Amazing Clinic.

The Yellowhead Veterinary Clinic is a new Clinic for us. I was looking for a Clinic that understood the importance of going slow, and working WITH my pets. Meeting them where they are emotionally and helping them, if required, to improve their feelings about what could otherwise be, a very stressful, albeit necessary part of life for our pets.

This Clinic goes over and above.

Apon arrival, they require that each client text them from their vehicle. They will let you know when the waiting room is clear and invite you in.

If I had a nickel for every time that entering a busy Veterinary Clinic waiting room caused anxiety for everyone present, well. I'd have a heck of a lot of nickels. Lol

After having you weigh your own dog, which again is so accommodating to most dog's need for acclamation, they take you into a clean room where you wait for your Veterinarian or RVT. I believe the longest I've waited this 3 or 4 minutes.

Our RVT today was Christine. Not only was she extremely thorough, making sure all of my questions were answered (and questions I hadn't even thought to ask), but she was kind and patient and took her time with my puppy.

Our Golden was neutered at Yellowhead as well and we took advantage of their "Chill" program. Our Golden had pre-meds.at home that allowed him to feel so relaxed throughout his visit. Even if a pet is slightly uncomfortable, having this option available makes their experience much less stressful.

Every staff member at this Vet Clinic, approaches dogs in completely appropriate ways. They have all, clearly done their homework and are committed to a fear-free experience for your pet.

This is the experience that we should all be searching for. There is absolutely no reason in the world why this cannot be the norm and it is just one of the great things that sets this Clinic apart.
