I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses here. Janelle was so great to work with, all my bridesmaids had her full attention and she was so helpful. They have a great selection of bridesmaids dresses. I would definitely recommend this place.

I shopped here for a wedding dress and had the best day with my mom. The lady that helped us was so kind and fun. Although I didn't find the "one" there, they had an incredible selection, with very reasonable prices. We returned for bridesmaid dresses and once again they were really helpful and provided feedback on colours, how the dresses fit and how the whole wedding party would look together. Highly recommend your wedding place for any brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bride/groom and grads!

I purchased my wedding gown here back in November and the entire process was amazing. I recently went back this past Saturday to get bridesmaid dresses as well and it was the easiest appointment. They listened to what I was wanting and gave me all the help and pointers to get the perfect dresses. All the staff are wonderful and they make things so easy. The owner Janelle is so hands on & helpful through everything and she made me feel so confident in my decisions. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience.

My soon to be daughter in law set up an appt to find her bride gown. The staff treated her like the queen she is. They helped pick dresses off of her wants and the level of customer service was impeccable. She found the one, the one that was every bit of what she wanted and didn’t even know, and more! Never once did we feel rushed or that we were not important. This was our 3rd appointment to find a dress and the service we received was amazing. The level of hype, and compliments given was amazing boost to self esteem.

Once my daughter in law found her dress, I decided to take a look for a mother of the groom dress. As a plus sized woman, who has had issues finding clothing in past I hate trying on clothes. I was treated with such respect and again the compliments given were such a huge ego boost. I am happy to say that I found my dress that I will watch my son marry his beautiful lady. I would HIGHLY recommend this store as the staff his very knowledgable, very helpful and sincere.

I absolutely love this place! I bought my wedding dress here yesterday. The ladies are super nice and knowledgeable and make you feel so comfortable. Definitely recommend them for everyone and I’ll be going back to get my bridesmaids dresses from them too!

Best wedding shop in Red Deer! So friendly and accommodating and the staff will make you feel so special and apart of their family. The owner, Janelle, will keep you laughing and takes the stress of such an important day away! The store manager, Madisen, made such good dress suggestions that were the exact styles I was looking for. Book the VIP appointment while you’re at it, it is more than worth the small fee of $100. I found their Instagram account very helpful as well for any questions I had before my appointment and they continue to post cute videos and fun giveaways. Would recommend this store to anyone in the central Alberta area!

Had an absolutely amazing experience here. Have been here twice this year for bridesmaid dresses and they were incredibly helpful! The first time I went was only a month and a half after I had a baby and they helped me feel confident and find the perfect dress. The staff was just so helpful and friendly. YWP is the most amazing bridal store in Alberta, I’ve bought all my girls grad dresses, wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and all my formal dresses that I use for events since 2004. You walk in and the staff goes above and beyond for the clients. Janelle and Madisen are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, they’re honest and kind. Our family absolutely loves supporting this store. It’s clean, beautifully decorated, and well set up and organized. We will absolutely buy every dress from there that we will ever need.

As a plus sized bride it was a great experience to have dresses available to try on! The showroom has so many options and the consultants were amazing! They had such great ideas, suggestions, and were so helpful. I felt so special and the store experience was efficient and I tried on so many different styles! This store is absolutely amazing and their selection of formal dresses/gowns is unbelievable! It has a great atmosphere and the widest variety of dresses and sizes in the Red Deer area! Kinda tacky vegas atmosphere. They are one of the few places that carry brodes maids dresses at a pricier cost. The staff are friendly anx helpful.

Your Wedding Place is exactly that. Madison and Janelle create an experience surpassed by none. Janelle helped me with my dream of a vintage wedding in a castle with my high school sweetheart. My daughter is a 2021 graduate. We went again to Your Wedding Place for her graduation dress. Madison was absolutely stellar in helping my daughter find the perfect dress for her momentous occasion. She glistened on her special day that was one to remember. There was a small tear in the seam of the zipper. With no questions asked they had it repair and fast! Thank you Madison!

I had a wonderful experience here and found my wedding dress! It was the first place I went to look and the first dress I tried on. The staff were so friendly and I didn’t feel pressured. I left after my first appointment and went to a couple other shops but nothing compared to the first dress. When I booked a last minute appointment with my future mother in law in town they were so accommodating. Maddison was so helpful. I would recommend this store over and over again.

I bought my wedding dress, all my accessories, and all my bridesmaids dresses at Your Wedding Place! The experience was absolutely wonderful. All the women that work there are terrific and I couldn’t recommend it more. I had a VIP appointment with the owner Janelle and it was such a special experience all around all the women I brought couldn’t stop raving about it aswell! I went to several other bridal stores in Red Deer and none even compared to Your wedding place!

Maddy and Janelle went above and beyond for me when looking for my wedding dress! I tried on MANY, and they talked with me and gave me all my options. They didn’t let my indecisiveness bother them, and were so excited for me when I FINALLY said yes! Beyond that they were so accommodating when bringing my bridesmaids in, letting me book separate appointments as my bridesmaids all had different schedules. They talked me through colours, and talked with each of my bridesmaids about the sizing process and what they could expect when the dresses come in. Through my many times in the store I’ve been witness to the beautiful environment they create. Everyone is beautiful, everyone is deserving and everyone is more than enough. I believe my experience is the experience of many, and that is the biggest testament to how incredible Your Wedding Place is. I cannot WAIT to get married (and send all the pics) Thank you guys!

Maddy was amazing helping our daughter find her grad gown. She knew exactly what to pull and was paitent and kind with us. It was relaxing and stress free. We highly reccommend this place for finding a Grad gown!

Went grad dress shopping found a beautiful dress but was told they werent taking payments, we were disappointed and sad at first then we spoke to the own Janelle and she had no problem arranging payments for us.now my girl has the dress shes feels amazing and beautiful in for her grad day. I hate to give public negative reviews. However, I didn’t see anything on the website for a contact email for the store manager.

I had booked an appointment several weeks ago to go bridal dress shopping. When I arrived, there was one young lady who took a brief moment in asking me if I had a vision in mind; which I shared. She showed me a couple, however, I noticed probably 3-4 different parties arriving (two other bridal parties and one grad party). As the store isn’t that large, it was pretty chaotic and I didn’t see or get to speak to the initial lady again as she was off helping others and running around.

I brought 4-5 dresses to try on. When going to the room to show my party, there were three other parties crammed in this small room and would have to wait for other brides/graduates to leave so my party could see what I had on. While showcasing the dresses, I didn’t have anyone walking me through what I liked, didn’t or giving suggestions (e.g. Trying it with a belt, trying a different style I may not have thought of, etc). It appeared each time I needed help buttoning up, it was a different person, who immediately would run off to a different client once I was zipped. Occasionally they would ask what I didn’t like, briefly listen, then walk away (without any suggestions or alternative options). At one point, my mother asked if we could try a belt with it (as we seen the belts sitting in a cabinet a few feet from the showing room). After 10 minutes of waiting, I took the dress off as I just wasn’t feeling it as no one brought one.

On the last dress I tried, there was one lady who was helpful in offering a vail and listening what I liked and didn’t. This was appreciated. However, overall, it was disappointing as I felt lost in the store, didn’t have much attention as you would have hoped, as these ladies know their inventory best I thought there would have been more suggestions or understanding what I like/didn’t like. It felt very chaotic, as staff appeared to be running around trying to help (I don’t know if they were understaffed or if this is normal - but it did seem like a lot of people especially with COVID) When reading the reviews, I see someone mentioning a “vip” package. However, going back on the website I am not seeing this option. Anyway, even without a package and a simple appointment, I thought perhaps it would have been a bit more personalized and helpful experience: (

This Bridal Shop is unlike any other! After my sister purchased her gown here 4 years ago and her best friend purchased hers only 2 years ago I knew that this was the place to be!

Myself and my family drove from all different places in Alberta to Red Deer as a central meeting location and I booked their VIP event! Ladies, you will not be disappointed in their VIP event, not only do you get the whole shop to yourself for the morning but they supply you with some champagne, a beautiful robe, a sample bouquet from a local florist, sample cake from a local baker and so much more! They truely go above and beyond to make your dress shopping experience a one of a kind!

The ladies who own and work at the shop are absolutely amazing! Mady was my main dress consultant and she did the most amazing job! She really listened to all the fine details I loved in many of the dresses I tried on and was able to find one dress that had it all! We were also able to find all my bridesmaids dresses here as they have so many different styles and colours with amazing prices!

Whatever you do make Your Wedding Place the first place you go to find your dream dress, you won't be disappointed!

I said yes! Your Wedding Place was absolutely perfect. With their VIP package you get the store to yourself, and get to share the experience with your best friends and family. Our consultant was so amazing and personable, I really felt like she took the time to get to know me and my guests. And of course, the added bonus was I found my dream dress! I had 2 absolutely perfect dresses to pick from but I'm so happy with my choice. The price was also incomparable to anywhere in the bigger cities. I highly recommend this store to all brides.

We called and got in for a last min apt (mother of the bride dress). I had a great lady helping me, and another lady helped when she wasn't available (she was finding more dresses for me to try on). Was a very good experience.

I have used Your Wedding Place for dresses on multiple occasions. We were so impressed with their care and great service during my wedding and they have such a huge variety! We were able to fit 7 bridesmaids and my wedding dress and everyone looked beautiful! I have also purchased gowns for military evening balls and have always found something beautiful! I highly recommend checking them out, they have options for everyone and the most friendly staff!

Had a terrific experience here. Finally said yes to a beautiful wedding dress after visiting many different shops in Calgary. We should have STARTED our searching here! Staff were very kind and helped with pulling dresses in my style, let us pull our own as well, and they were incredibly accommodating to my budget. Would highly recommend. No appointment necessary!

I have bought many dresses over the years from YWP - a grad dress, multiple bridesmaid dresses, and most recently a wedding dress. I utilized the VIP services for bridal shopping - it made the experience less stressful and more memorable. The staff are extremely knowledgeable & do a great job at making you feel confident and beautiful throughout the process of purchasing a dress.
