We had our solar system installed and operational at the beginning of December by Zeno. Dillon and crew were very professional and polite. Excellent experience to say the least. It was a learning experience throughout the process which Zeno staff were always very helpful and able to provide answers to the many questions. Definitely recommend Zeno.

I received excellent assistance from Aaron Crawford with the computer work. Catherine helped when I had problems getting a signature on to the computer. Much appreciated. The install people were very professional and I had no issues with it.

I could not be happier with the business as a whole from start to finish with our install. Starting with sales, Josh Huziy was amazing, he always had an answer to any question or concern I had along the way. The installation crew was also amazing, I have 2 young children, come time of install they had even asked when nap time for them was and kept things as quiet as they could so we could keep our daily routine normal. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone there, 100% totally recommend!

Worked with Liam on this project. He is both knowledgeable and courteous. The installers were great. They actually finished a day ahead of schedule. Can't comment on quality yet as the system was just turned over today but I don't expect any issues.

Zeno did the solar installation for my home. They were very helpful every step of the way, and even came came in on a Saturday to wrap up the project. Highly recommend.

Edit: The new representative we're working with is much more proactive and transparent about timelines but the payments for our project got delayed on their end by their payment partner, Helcim, by several weeks, thus delaying installation by a very long time.

With a five star review I was really expecting more from Zeno but so far every interaction has been terrible. The fact there is no clear line of communication between teams and that there are DAYS between phone calls for basic assistance is ridiculous. The communication piece is MISSING here. They were my first choice for solar providers but due to poor communication, incorrect quotes, and a rude salesman I am very put off and hate that I'm giving these guys 18 grand. Really wish I'd gone with Kuby. Not sure if I just got a bad sales rep or what but I will not be recommending Zeno after this. I couldn't even speak to a manager to clear up a payment dispute before writing this review because surprise, they'll quote you on everything without GST so when you apply for financing you'll be on the hook for 1-2 grand more than you thought you needed. Wish I listened to my gut when they responded to quote requests days behind everyone else. So disappointed. Zeno, you need to prioritize communication and make it easier for customers to get assistance.

Amazing experience. They started only one day off from their estimated time of installation but was done in 4 days (last day just the rodent guards). Highly recommend Zeno Solar, friendly and thorough installers and they answer your questions very quickly. Great customer service!

Zeno was a fantastic group to work with to get us setup with solar. Colin took his time walking us through the process and answering all our questions. He was also very patient when we encountered problems working through the Green Homes Loan application. Geno and Catherine kept us well informed leading up to installation. Zeno installed my system on time. The crew did a great job and was helpful. Throughout the project they answered my questions and were always available.
I had the system installed late in the fall. We had a lot of cloudy and rainy days so I didn’t see much generation. Also this winter my panels have been covered with snow and so little to no generation. I’m hoping to see the system perform once the snow melts. Fingers crossed for this spring!

I had a positive experience with Zeno on the install of my solar panels at home. We had some surprises during the install but Zeno was flexible and was able to amend the design quickly and work was not delayed. They worked around my schedule and made the process easy.
Their staff that came to do the work was very friendly, respectful and well educated about their product, and how it interacts with the home.

I got quotes from 5 different companies before I chose Zeno. Zeno by far had the best customer services, with reasonable prices and easy simple installation. Shout out to Stephan at Zeno for making one of the best customer services experiences ever.

Zeno installed solar panels on our Edmonton property in October 2022. The Business Development Manager, Colin, was patient and professional and took time to answer my questions. I took my time deliberating between Zeno and another solar installer. The quote I received was competitive on a $/W basis even before the federal rebates.

The installers, Cody, Jared and Lucas showed up on time and worked efficiently. The install took just under two days and the installers were considerate of our child’s napping schedule and only did the loud drilling after the child’s nap. Cody, the journeyman electrician, was able to diagnose and solve an issue with a breaker that kept flipping after he installed the sub panel.

The scheduling for the inspection was promptly started after the installation was done and I was able to connect to the grid shortly after - the turnover process was efficient.

After I had signed the contract the process seemed to come to a halt. After signing the contract and providing my payment authorization through a 3rd party (Helcim), it took two weeks to hear from the Project Manager. During this time I didn’t receive any updates from Zeno and had to reach out to understand what was taking so long. I wish Zeno had been more proactive in explaining how long it would take for the funds to get to them so we could start the project sooner.

The people were wonderful to work with from start to turnover. Stefan handled my initial enquiry and completed my solar installation journey with a home visit. Dimitri answered my many questions. Geno managed the installation and provided assistance when electrial inspectors required modifications. Craig, the electrician, and the installation crew were professional
polite and respectful.
Thank you to each and every one of you and even more whom I did not meet. You do provide a turnkey service for which I am sincerely grateful.
Also, I love the apps and enjoy watching the solar panels work. I am grateful for a sunny, warm October.

After comparing a few solar companies, and based on the experience of trusted referrals, I decided to go with Zeno for my solar system and install. The team at Zeno Renewables is great. My contact, Stephan, was very friendly and thorough from introduction, to planning, to finish and turnover. The installers were also friendly and courteous. From planning to completion, the process can be quick if you are ready to proceed ahead. The experience is good, price is reasonable, and my monthly electrical bills are lower now. Would recommend.

Stephan on the sales side was excellent with a mock up, financial analysis, and all the technical information which he was also able to translate into non-technical terms. Dimitri got all the permits and paperwork figured and was on top of communicating the status to me. On install day Geno and the crew came on time and they did an excellent and clean job. It shows the crew takes pride in their work as every single hole and penetration was sealed and caulked, all lines straight, and they got it done in one day. Best yet, the system was designed and installed with foresight to allow adding additional panels in future years.
I had one issue with the circuit breaker buzzing under load and they were there same day to swap it out. Highly responsive.

You won't regret hiring Zeno. They are TRUE professionals.

On time hardly begins to describe this group. We began our dive into getting solar in November, signed in April and were operational in May. It's been a whirlwind. Colin was excellent in describing all things solar as I had gone down a rabbit hole of learning and he was more than willing to teach me everything I was missing. He wasn't pushy during the initial consultations and was more than accommodating in my redesign request. The install team was incredibly fast and performed excellent work, the panels and exterior look great and the interior is very clean. The team thought my process wouldn't even start until August but with a cancellation I was able to sneak in early and I'm very grateful.

What a group of guys, right from the Sales, Technical to the installers. I have already recommended VE to friends and neighbors if they plan to get PV systems installed. My account was handled by Colin (BDM), Josh (PM), Jordan, Tristan, Josh and Enrique. All I can say is they were professional, got back to my queries and ready to provide any info I needed. I usually give 4 star but I could not find a reason not to give a 5 star. Kudos to you all, guys.

Virtuoso Energy caught our interest with their professional presentation on the potential benefits of solar energy. It’s now almost the darkest day of the year here in Edmonton and I’m pleased to say that we’re still generating anywhere from ⅓ to ½ of our electricity from the panels. When I started browsing for solar companies, Virtuoso was clearly the most professional. The entire process from start to finish was exceptional and all the different teams were a pleasure to work with. I don't have a technical background and they helped me understand the solar system and the economics behind it. I felt like I had numerous questions and concerns and they were respectful in all of their communications. If you're considering a solar system, I would start with Virtuoso.

Virtuoso installed my residential solar system about 6 months ago. They were very good at customizing their explanations specifically for my house so I understood exactly how it would impact my house (hardly at all) and my bills (a lot). But where they really shine is in after sales support and pro-active follow-up. They are not only very available to answer questions, they are proactive in providing information and helping you with decision making (like where to go for the least cost / best paying energy sources). I would highly recommend Virtuoso Energy.

We worked with Virtuoso when we built our new house. They provided very detailed quotes and information about their arrays, and answered every question we had. Virtuoso, has been excellent through out the whole process, working on a system that makes financial sense for our house. The team worked through issues like changing regulations, permitting and covid-19, all the while never putting pressure on our family. I was referred to Virtuoso Energy by our local Porsche dealer after purchasing a Taycan Turbo S.

As this was my first electric car, Virtuoso answered my questions on charging, integration with my solar panels and showed me what upgrades they were going to have to do to my electrical panel.
