This is my go to shop. Yesterday my alternator blew as I was leaving for a road trip. Car was back up and running three hours later and I was back on the road.
They're always professional, affordable, and don't recommend work that isn't necessary.
Tony and his staff are kind, trustworthy, and run an excellent business. I have been patronizing zoom auto for over a decade, and have never charged me for work that wasn't needed. The work that's been done has lasted and has always come at a fair price. They provide clear communication and are always prompt in returning texts or calls. Thank you guys!
I’ve got nothing but love for Zoom! I’ve been taking my car in for the past 5 years and the amazing mechanics at Zoom have brought my 1986 Mustang back to life on many occasions. I’m surprised at some of the malicious comments made here. Tony and staff have always provided me with the most professional and honest service. Put your personal misunderstandings aside and show some respect for this exceptional, locally owned gem. Highly recommended!
Had issues with my work truck these guys managed to squeeze me in same day, diagnosed and fixed the issue within a few hours. Very impressed with the overall service and price.
After a referral from a coworker I brought my car in here because she raved about how great the mechanic named Darcy was. I’m sure he is absolutely wonderful but the shop owner is absolutely horrific! He seemed ok until I told him that I was going to pick up my car to get a second opinion on what he said needed to be fixed. From that point on he got super defensive, and he yelled and screamed at me. Said things like “oh you think you know better than me? !? I have a world wide book of all the cars! I know all about all cars! ” Honestly the worst display of professional behavior I’ve ever seen. I wish I had read the reviews about this owner before I had given him any business of mine… never again….
Owner/front desk man is very rude! And as I read other reviews it sounds normal for him. Shop isn’t fast, but he sure is rushed! Prices are on the higher side
Garage is by my house so when my car died on the road I had it towed there. He texted me a photo of the invoice. I called and we spoke for 4 minutes, and then I had a question and spoke for another 2 minutes. He hung up the phone on me in a hurry and I had another question like when my car will be ready for pick up lol. So i just walked in and he told me he hung up because he’s too busy to talk and I’m slow while he’s pointing at his head. Haha I am not slow, just not a mechanic. He texted me an invoice for $840 and said nothing else. I called because I like to know why my car died, what on the invoice is actually needed & what what was recommended. He could only spare 6 minutes total and i don’t know why he called me slow…those are normal valid questions anyone would ask. I paid $428.01 for the 30amp fuse and brake light switch. The rest on the $840 bill was extras so I’m glad I did ask those questions even if he insults me for inquiring.
I honestly don’t even know why he was so rude. I have never been called slow before in my life and when I said that was rude af he told me I’m not understanding and got mad. I understood everything he was saying, I was asking different questions, I had like 4 questions total.
Even if I was slow, is that really appropriate behaviour?
Honestly, there’s a lot of mechanics out there, lot of competition and this guy deserves no business. I’ve never been so offended for literally asking valid questions. Maybe it’s a money thing. He didn’t like that I wasn’t gonna do everything on his list.
Reading other reviews make me feel more comfortable knowing it’s not just me. Sounds like he’s just a grumpy short middle aged man.
I had my car inspected at Zoom because of a few issues I was experiencing. The issues were explained to me thoroughly and they even did one of the smaller repairs for free!
Very bad customer service. At the end of the conversation The owner said “Get out to me and my buddy “ They don’t know how to treat their customers. Very aggressive and bad behaviour.
Great and honest mechanic. Took my car in as I thought the brake pads might need to be replaced, as the brakes squealed. He told me it was just a buildup of rust on the brake rotors, and that it can actually be fixed by just using the brakes more and applying heavy pressure to burn off the rust. Thought I'd be looking at an expensive bill, but he just charged the inspection fee!
