Are there any Chinese living here? Please add me on WeChat ShowNo_mercy. I would like to know how much your monthly heating bill is in winter, I am from November 1 to November 30, when it is not very cold, it costs $330! By February I thought it would be over $500 and I only drove 23 degrees!

What a great place to live! The building is designed to make life easy as pie. The apartment I rented on the 8th floor was super quiet. I felt at times that we were the only ones in the whole building. Floor plans very well designed and efficient. The staff there are great. Bob, the resident manager was easy to deal with as well as very helpful and responded to all my questions quickly. The views of downtown, the bike path directly in front, the river walk to the Forks and an ice cream shop on the main floor all made life at 300 Assiniboine a joy. Highly recommend it. PS: living downtown, this place has excellent security with a full time doorman. There are many people jogging and biking in the area, with city park events in the neighbouring Bonnie Castle park.

Poor management and poor build. You can hear every footstep and door slide from your upstairs neighbours. The heating system is outdated and extremely loud. Low quality finishings.

Such a rude, unprofessional, angry doorman at reception. He should be there to help people and welcome them, not to harass. I hope Management will find someone else or ask the guy to work on his attitude.

A luxury building built poorly, and run poorly. The entry door to my unit has gaps around it so wide that winds blows dirt, snow and ice in unless I pack paper, rugs, and blankets in the cracks. The sound of wind whistling is maddening esp since I WFH and have regular Zoom meetings. Space heater required to keep the temperature bearable and Hydro bills are still very high. Appliances are not high end and my dishwasher was already replaced. Leaks above my unit poured water into my utility room and required a hole to be cut in my ceiling also. Bathroom plumbing malfunctioned also. The attached parking structure has needed repair. One year is all I can handle in this terrible location.

The venting is the type of vent that does not vent at all.
Management issues.
Very high utility.

Expensive for poor finishes where you pay for your own heat ($150+ a month) and the amenities are poor (gym, resident lounge).

Bob the facility manager is so helpful and professional.
Premises always spotless clean, safe and cosy.
Great location and view.

To clear steam from the bathroom and kitchen areas, use the thermostat on the wall. It will start the central heating/air conditioning system. Completely clears out any steam in a jiffy! Just switch the thermostat to "fan" for a few moments.

The kitchen and bathrooms don't have power vent can use the kind you can turn on when cooking or using bathroom only have air flow vent the kind barely venting the odor inside.

Underground parking

Cons:
No vent in bathrooms and kitchen- wait 30 min before fog on mirror goes away in bathroom, if you love cooking- no exhaust vents make your life difficult
new fancy washer-dryer combo takes 3-4 hr to dry one load of clothes
