Had my 50th Birthday on Friday with family and I was very happy with everything. Russel was fantastic and very attentive to everyone and made sure that we were all taken care of very well. Had a private room upstairs and as always 529 did not disappoint. Thanks for another great night

529 is an absolutely wonderful restaurant for special occasions. Great friendly staff and meals. Lately though it has become very expensive. Well worth it though for A REALLY SPECIAL OCCASION.

I took a friend here for a birthday lunch on the patio. It is absolutely beautiful there! There are many "hidden" seating areas. It felt private and cozy. And the flowers and plants are gorgeous! Service was top notch. Food was A+. Would definitely go back again and again.

Thank you 529, the meal was perfect. The appetizers were filled with flavour that made it hard not to finish eating. When the beef Wellington came, it smelt amazing. The meat could not have been cooked better. We had an espresso with dessert, which couldn’t be beat, and we were completely satisfied. The atmosphere had so much character and history, it was beautiful. Lastly, we have never had better service. There was nothing the waiter did not know about the food. He was attentive and friendly. We could not have had a better experience.

I never leave a restaurant a 10/10 but this place exceeded all of my expectations. The guys in the kitchen sure do great work in the kitchen! Our meals were beyond delicious and premium level cocktails! But the highlight of our night was Tommy! He was beyond charming, super attentive, professional and you can tell that he loves what he's doing! 10/10 experience! Best Steakhouse in the city for a reason.

We haven’t been to 529 for quite a few years so it was interesting to see not much has changed in the decor and also the menu. My filet and one portobello mushroom was good although a little seasoning on the steak would have made it more enjoyable. Snap peas and fries were great. My partners ribeye was very disappointing and paltry looking on the plate. Onion rings were tasty but very oily. It would be nice to see an updated, healthier, more creative menu. Service was good. Overpriced for the whole experience. What happened to the days where your plate included a starch and veggie not a lonely chunk of meat with a sprig of parsley?

Hands down the best restaurant in the city. Love how it's a restaurant in an old style mansion. So beautiful! Love that you can dress up here. All of the food is very flavorful and you can taste all the seasonings and cooked at the right temperature. The servers there are always so professional and actually describe the taste of each dish which makes you want to try every single dish even more. This place is great for a special occasion. We went for our anniversary and we will be back again!
