Access Storage - Winnipeg Munroe

Not a very secure property, had lots of break ins and theft. They were reasonably priced but consistently increasing the price they now have high prices for what's offered. And poor snow clearing in the winter

I rented a 10Wx20Lx8H storage locker to house my effects. The storage locker was adequate, and suited my needs. If I needed to store items in Winnipeg again, I would consider contacting Access Storage first.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, they assisted me in getting a lock and storage unit that fit my needs. Pricing was reasonable and my items remained secure throughout the time I used their service.

Discontinuing services (only required between houses) was quick and easy with excellent service once again!
No regrets renting a unit with Access Storage. I don't hope to have to move again, but if I do, it will be a no-brainer where to go if in this position again.

Good place for storage but the roadways in there are treacherous. Also they do not give much to keep your stuff off the ground the dust is bad to. All this can be solved with some moving blankets and a tarp.

I had a great experience renting from Access Storage and will rent again when I need some space. Highly recommend.

Still have a unit here great price people are very friendly to deal with helped alot with understanding payments during the pandemic only reason i couldn't do 5 stars is cause the roof set up lets all the snow and ice build up so was tough a few times getting into locker and the sand used to extend the width of rows of units always is in front of door and gets in unit and lets water get into the unit other then that no complaints

Dori at Monroe Access Storage is Always eager to listen and respond to clients when they make comments. She has been helpful with suggestions about security and works to keep the facility safe for our RVs.

The manager I spoke to her was very nice and helpful and also employee called me back and answered all my questions and realy nice people.

I am a tenant here. However it is expensive, more than twice what I pay at another facility close by. And the pricing model is extremely assertive. They've planned out price increases for the next three years. And the rate structure is based on weeks instead of by the month, so they shave a few days off every month, in terms of value.
The place itself is a mess. The road surface on the property is so bad I would never take a car in there, I worry about my 4 X 4! It's an outdoor facility and the keypad is unreadable in cold weather. In the winter the snow removal is terrible. Before Access Storage purchased the place, they had a dedicated loader permanently on site and they responded immediately to a snowfall. Now, sometimes a week can pass and still the job is not completed.
It's like Access storage bought this place without really understanding what they were buying and just thought it was a Cash Cow. Previously they had a yard person there every day. Not relying on the paperwork clerk for everything.
They love to tell everyone to refer their friends. I wouldn't do someone that disservice, without repeating all of the above and then some.

Rude girl at the counter, lied about the 4 weeks free.didn't want to give that. Why work at place if you're miserable. STAY AWAY

Excellent service! The office staff were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. They were also very accommodating for my last minute request to switch storage units. Highly recommended!

I just called your place (12: 40 Nov 12) to check on my husband's car. A lady named Nori or something answered, I couldn't understand her when she said her name. Anyways, I gave her my husband's name (had to spell it a few times, even with phonetics) to check the garage where his car was parked since they said to him that they will start the car weekly. I told her its in unit 35, I know she should be able to know where the car is based on the name given. She laughed at me saying I should know which building it is (I don't and they should be able to see it in their files), then she said she is busy and has a client in front of her. I don't think it's a laughing matter when a customer is calling to check on their unit and their vehicle. Very unprofessional, it's just sad being treated with disrespect when your a current customer.

Stay away from this facility. It is not safe nor secure. Promises are not kept. I so agree with other comment.that everyone's belongings in one place is accessible for the criminals! $100 referral for new customers.seriously - are you working with the criminals? Worst experience ever! If you decide to use this facility.you need a 4x4 to plough through the place. Maintenance is not done.just promised. Same as security.all about the stories of how its going to be done but it isn't done!

I hsd yo move out of my apartment as my lease was up. I didn't have a place and had to put my belongings in storage. I went to Access Storage on Munroe and the lady was very helpful and accomodating. I looked at the stirage unti, it was clean and the doors had a seal that ernt to the pavement to prevent rodents and insects from getting in. I put my belongings there snd was confident that it was safe and protected and it was. I was eorried when they had the big storm back in October 2019. I went to get my belingings out the middle of October and was pleased to see water jad not gotten in and my furniture and items were in the condition I had before moving them there. If I have to use storage again I eould definitely go there and I would highly recommend for others who may jave a need for storage. Thank you for your services at a time when I was in need and a bit stressed over having to move and no place of my own. Access is definitely a five star storage with units to accomodate dufferent size needs. Once agsin Thank you to the lady working there and to the company.

Highly recommended! Did not end up needing the storage for my company needs after all, but the gals in the office are amazing and if I ever need to store any place in the future, I will go here, without a doubt!

We have had a work trailer here for a couple of months. In that time many of the trailers around ours have been broken into. I voiced my concern with management and they promised they were working on it. After storing our trailer at my house for a month to give them time to improve security, we brought it back a couple days ago. It was broken into last night. This is not a secure facility and management clearly doesn't care about addressing the issue, or they would have done it already. So really what they have done is put everyone's valuables all in one place to make life even easier for criminals. Good for the crooks, not good for the rest of us.

The staff are very helpful if you have concerns they will do their best to resolve any issues. I have used their services in the past and now I am a long-term tenant. Recently I had a security concern and Dory went out of her way to solve the issue. I was extremely impressed with the way Dory went out of her way to solve the issue and get it done. Great customer service. They have mentioned to me that they are in the process of re- graveling the yard and filling in the potholes where it is paved once this is done this will be a first class storage facility and I will gladly give five stars.

I enjoyed the customer service, the ladies ensure that you understand all you need to understand. Millicent did all she could to get me a good deal and even made sure my mom got her free rent for a month for a referral. However, my unit was rented at the worst possible time of the year. I had a very difficult time accessing it as it was frozen solid. There seemed to be no effort in order to prevent such excessive freezing on North facing units at all. Through some personal efforts I got in but the ice could’ve been less than it was. Unit was clean and we managed to fit everything from our apartment in it and wasn’t even the biggest unit. Would recommend to others.if renting in the winter though de-icing will be difficult.

As a business owner needing more storage space, I was hesitant on self storage but when popping in to discuss options Millie was so knowledgeable and only had my best interest in mind that I booked on the spot knowing that my products would be safe with a company that truly cares about their customers!
