Ordered on-line and had a great experience.
Communication was top notch, fish arrived healthy and since it was overnight priority shipping; recieved happily the next day before noon to Windsor, ON.
Will definitely recommend and be using their services again! Great selection of fish.

September 17,2023: Third visit now and just can't recommend this place enough. Avoid the big box pet stores and go here!

Had a great visit today and got the fish i was looking for. Can't wait to go back for regular visits. My only regret was not visiting sooner!

Do not buy from here. Sold me two beat up fish, the next day one was dead and they were trying to say because is albino. They don’t want own up to their mistake or replace the fish. They blame it on the customer. Meanwhile is hard to contact them because of their business hours.

Best place hands down for all your freshwater fish needs. Absolutely the greatest place on earth if you love fish!

Although, the type of fish being sold at any given time, this store has by far the largest variety of tropical fish, and a huge aquarium. The staff is always very helpful and enthusiastic!

BEWARE! 2 of my large tanks are on the verge of being completely wiped out, thousands of dollars of fish evaporated within 1 week. Bought a group of 10 WC Moba Frontosa from Spencer (200 bucks a fish) several months ago, everything was smooth, they were all healthy had them for multiple months with no issues at all. A few months later he brought some more Moba's in, so I decided to grab another 5 individuals since the first batch was great. Within 1 week of the second group arriving, some sort of bacterial infection started appearing on the fish. It quickly spread to most of the other fish in the tank. At first when I noticed it on 1 individual I thought it was bullying, so I moved that individual fish to another tank. (BAD IDEA). Long story short, the 6 peacocks and 2 haps in the frontosa tank all died, 5 of the frontosa have died, and several other members are now infected and I suspect they will perish soon given their condition. The fish I initially moved to another tank obviously spread the disease to all the fish in the secondary tank (which all came from Spencer as well) and they are dropping like flies. I visited a local aquarist who is well known and respected in the community, he advised its a common issue from Spencers suppliers (Florida fish farms) the street name is Malawi Rot, once it gets into your system, you are essentially toast and will be lucky to have any survivors. Spencer was completely in denial, said I must of transmitted it myself, which is nonsense, no fish have entered my frontosa system since your first batch, other then your second group. He then tried to blame it on the fact that I had 6 (very peaceful) peacocks in with the fronts, saying it must have stemmed from aggression. Im sorry Spencer but fish who have been fighting usually have some signs. All fish belly up with perfect fins, with a quarter size rotten hole in the side of their bodies and fungal growth all over the lips and face is not aggression. His last attempt was to blame my food source, saying live foods can carry parasites. Sorry to say every fish was on Xtreme pellets only. I totally understand in the end its my fault for not practicing good quarantine procedures. I don't have the ability to quarantine large frontosa's as my quarantine tanks are small. I also assumed since the first batch was immaculate I had nothing to worry about. Spencer has no interest in taking accountability, was deflecting and has basically left me on my own to watch 4000 dollars worth of fish evaporate. His only solution was treat with melafix, an all natural chemical, and it has done absolutely nothing. I am by no means saying all of Spencers tanks are tainted, but don't make my mistake, if you buy from him, quarantine his fish and play it safe, as if a problem arises you will be on ur own while hes laughing all the way to the bank.

This is my new go-to for any freshwater fish! Not far out of the city (albeit a teensy but hard to find for my first time), but worth the drive! They had everything I was looking for that only one other fish store had, but at 1/3rd of the price (seriously). Staff were super helpful and friendly, and they also had the bestest doggo!

Will definitely go back for any future fishie needs!

First shipment with this fellow. I have used almost every supplier that ships nationally and this supplier’s responses and packaging were second to none.
