Aladin's Pizzeria & Shawarma Place

Found this place by fluke. I asked them what they recommended at the front counter. Oh my God the chicken Shawarma poutine was amazing. Next was the pizza amazing.chicken Shawarma wrap with Greek salad and french fries Amazing.their french fries are really good. Very friendly staff. I am hooked and a regular customer now. Did I tell you that the chicken Shawarma poutine was amazing tell them John sent you.

I've only tried their pizza and fried chicken but it's some of my favourite! Service can be a a tad bit slow so don't order when hangry.

Owner lady is always very nice and make it a quick visit for a pickup, prices are very reasonable, open late, and Ive never waited more than 30 minutes, usually about 20.
And, while the food was much better at opening, once their traffic grew and cv19 hit I found it understandable for the attention to detail to drop a bit, still very good for the price, I think they have BOGO pizzas now too so, even better!
Favourites are the pizza, chicken wings, shawarma was good, and calamari was always very good.

First time ordering via Skip the Dishes and food was gross. Who puts hot sauce all over poutine and French fries in every single shawarma wrap? There were more fries in the wraps than chicken. The falafel was so dry and tasteless. Based on the previous reviews, it looks like this was a great shawarma place but has gone downhill in the last few months, which is really too bad.

Very poor customer services. Trying to establish a customer is wrong. I will definitely not order anymore.

Great chicken shawarma, awesome hours. Great place to grab a bite to eat at 1am Never knew shawarma's were so good. Been back here many times. Going to have to try out their pizzas one of these times.

Anytime food is ordered online they always forget to add one or the other item. Last time they forgot my drinks, once they forgot shawarma, such a manner less restaurant to not even put spoon. Shameful

This place was delicious. We got the beef shawarma poutine and the tandoori chicken pizza. What I am confused about is the lack of beef or shawarma pizza on the menu
This is confusing to me and a clear missed opportunity.

The service was superb, food was so amazing.we had the taco pizza and the tandori chicken pizza.soooo many toppings and good amount of cheese.and was just so yum yum

Had iftar at Aladin’s, we got Aladin’s Shawarma Dinner, Kabab dinner and for sides got Falafel balls and Garlic toast.
Falafel balls could have been better, 5/10
But both the dinners were very tasty. 7/10
Service was good.
Would recommend.

Incredibly delicious food, the best shawarma in Winnipeg, but we waited for our order for 50 minutes, despite the fact that there were only us among the customers, we also got confused, the order was not what we ordered, but we said and waited another 20 minutes.the best institution but a very big problem with the speed of service.and also we pointed to the menu with our finger at what we wanted, but they still brought us the wrong thing

We have been consistently ordering Bangla Chicken pulao, Hot Buffalo chicken wings, Shawarma wrap, Chicken Shawarma Platter, Fried Chicken and Tandoori chicken. Only Few times have ordered the tandoori chicken pizza. I have to say that the owners are very strict with the food quality and the customer service. The quality of food received each time is consistently above and beyond. The sauces on the shawarma and the curry itself tastes so much flavour. The food never felt old or cooked bad. The meat is always well cooked and tender. The pizza that I ordered a few times was very flavourful and the crust was soft and crispy at the same time. Only thing I didn’t liked about pizza was the amount of oil which is a little too much and tasty but maybe not for me. Maybe they can reduce the oil? The staff and the owners are very polite and provide excellent customer service every time. Only time I had problem with the food was when I got the wrong item order and they quickly solved it when I called back.

Just ordered up a simple mushroom, bacon pizza (wifey's fav) and was very happy with the pie! If I had to nit pick the bottom could use a little more heat to crisp it up a bit, but in no way was this an issue. Still cooked though and not doughy at all.
Nice amount of toppings, and golden brown cheese. Excellent crust too!
Would definitely recommend, good bang for you're buck on the pizza here!

I went last year for a pizza and wasn't super impressed, but when I went back this year for the shawarma. Sweet gods below, was it something else.
That garlic sauce? Unreal. The chili oil? Perfection. The meat was so tender and delicious, the ingredients fresh and prepared so well.
I will be back for seconds, highly recommend.

Picked up 2 medium pizzas. Everything we have had here has been excellent, flavourful, hot and served with grace

Pretty sad pizza I had delivered from here. Sad as in it was a meat lovers and there was hardly anything on it, all I could distinguish was pepperoni and beef nothing else, barely even a layer of cheese just overall disappointing. If I had seen it before they delivered it I probably would’ve just asked for my money back but I didn’t see it until it arrived.

Taco pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and the fried chicken is the best chicken I’ve ever had. We always go to Aladdin’s when we are in Winnipeg and never been disappointed.

Went this place for pick the skip order but not allowed to use washroom but when i bought one pop can we are good to use washroom

I happened to stop there as i was picking up for doordash but didn't hear of this place and i love Shawarmas. So i thought i would order myself a chicken shawarma for the road which the gentleman with the glasses made sure my shawarma was done quickly since the food i was there to pick up was pretty much ready to go. Well, i ate it while driving and OMG it was amazing! I loved the Chicken Shawarma! It was so delicious! I was so glad i tried the Shawarma. I will be back for sure. Customer service from young guy upfront and i think it was the owner wearing the glasses who made me that shawarma so fast since i was worried about customer's food getting cold. Amazing service and amazing Shawarma. Keep up the great work and will see you soon again and again.

Just ordered a chicken shawarma dinner to go. Got home, started eating my wrap and realized there are no vegetables in it (as is advertised), other than a few thin slices of onion and maybe one or two tiny pieces of pickled beet. Instead, they filled the wrap with old french fries for filler. The salad they gave me is still edible but looks like it's been sitting for a day or two as the lettuce is soggy. I'm really disappointed considering the price I paid, and that I was given something other than what was described in their menu. Won't be going back.

Best shawarma in the city! I wish I had known this place before. We ordered chicken shawarma platter and a wrap, the flavour of rice is so good.
I really appreciate the guy at the store front (Dont know his name, he wear glasses and was at the front desk around 11: 30 PM when we were there) he was so polite and his hospitality was top notch.

The wrap is great but. Packaging was poor. So plz mentioned this if you order take away from this restaurant.

The menu has a lot of options and everything is reasonably priced. I love the wraps and the fries.service has been pretty quick

I have never personally visited, but I have ordered take out and I found the pizza to be top tier for the city. It is amazing, I waiting for my order as I write this, I love this pizza so much.

Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants and I am one of their regular customers. I've been to their in Winnipeg, I liked this branch very much because it is very quiet and clean, service is good and good treatment throughout the branch.

Chicken shawarma dinner is so good! Only $15, you get rice and a Caesar salad. The chicken shawarma itself is really tasty. Haven’t had any of the other food.

So-so, their’s shawarma and platter are not middle eastern as you would expect. Too spicy, no humus. It’s more Bangladesh or Indian style. If you want real Shawarma go to Les Saj or Madina or at least Sultan Shawarma.

In Winnipeg for a brief period and had trouble finding eatery during the pandemic. I had a disastrous experience with Skipthe Dishes two days ago when I ordered dishes from this restaurant only to be defrauded by Skipthe Dishes as the skipper never came to my place. Today, I was able to drive for a few minutes to find this gem. I Ordered takeout for their Polau and chicken roast and Beef Tehari. Both dishes were amazing and the service was great. Thanks to the hardworking entrepreneurs for setting this gem

Went for the first time this afternoon and had the chicken shawarma wrap and it's now my favourite in the city. The garlic and chili sauces are so good, the meat seasoned well, and generous portions.

I ordered via skipthedishes and got breadsticks, tandoori chicken pizza and gulab jamun. I had requested a few substitutions and everything arrived correctly. The breadsticks were incredible and the pizza delicious! I wasn't a fan of the gulab (first time trying it, maybe it was just the texture I didn't like?) but this is someplace I certainly see myself ordering from again in the future.

Went here with my family last Sunday and had excellent fried chicken and cheese pizza! Great service too, definitely recommend it!

Ordered from here from skip before and the food was great. I can’t remember hearing about this place prior to skip but I wish I had. Even after being delivered to me food tastes fresh and delicious. I love this place. Open late too! Great skip option.

Atmosphere is pretty impressive comparing to other Bangladeshi restaurants in Winnipeg. Staffs are well behaved. Good location. Tried their chicken roast polaow but didn't fulfill my expectation, they can improve it. However, the aroma of that dish was mindblowing.

I ordered tandoori chicken pizza through doordash, I must say the pizza was so cheesy and tasty, the best desi pizza I have eaten in Winnipeg. I wish you more people will come to know about this new joint.

Went here to get pizza last night and it was pretty fast, and tasted amazing. The menu has tons of options. As I was leaving I realized my total wasn’t right because it was buy one get one half, once I brought it to their attention they corrected it right away and we’re VERY friendly about it and gave me 15% off. Honest mistake, Amazing customer service will be returning!

Really good food. Tried few bengali dishes and fried chicken which have a great authentic taste. Nice place to go with friends and family. Very neat and clean environment. Good quality food served with a big smile.

Just ordered a pizza (just a plain old mushroom and pepperoni on thin crust) after seeing one of the owners posts on our neighborhood facebook group and wow!

We pass this place all the time and have mentioned it many times but never tried it.

Pizza is SO GOOD! Will absolutely order again, love supporting small businesses and these guys have ours!

Asked for a shawarma and got a shawarma, almost. I loved the pickled goodies that come on most shawarmas.no pickled goodies but fresh cucumbers instead. It was tasty but not what I was expecting. The meat was tender and well seasoned, the ingredients were fresh.
