Nice clean place, however full set of nails took FOREVER. While I appreciate attention to detail, 2.5 hrs for a simple gel extension set is too long. Also, confirm prices beforehand as website pricing is misleading. Charged $25 more than what the website listed for

I went for a pedicure a couple weeks ago and noticed when I got home that the aesthetician cut my toe. I didn’t think much of it as I know sometimes this happens. However I woke up the next morning and it was throbbing for a couple of days. I sent them an email on the following day and still did not get a response. They could have at least acknowledged this.

I've been going to almond nails for a while now but I really like this location. I saw Blaire this most recent time and she was great, really attentive to details and perfecting the final result!

My dip fill lifted less than a week after receiving services. The technician also continued to burn me with the Dremel and there was no proper ventilation for the amount of nail dust from filing down artificial nails. Staff also continued to go to the front desk to check their cellphones frequently.

Nice place and convenient location with parking. The prices were reasonable and my artist was very sweet, took her time, and very attention to detail.

I have been going to Almond nails on Grant for many years and have always had wonderful service.
Today I saw Queena and she is really incredible, Lots of attention to detail.
I also see Winnie and highly recommend both these talented ladies️
The ladies upfront are always very friendly and accommodating.

I came to Almond nails to redo a very bad gel manicure that was done elsewhere. Winnie did such an amazing job, my nails are absolutely gorgeous!

Noreen did a great manicure and pedicure, just lost a start because I never knew if she was talking to me or to her co worker next to her. She spoke very quietly and kind of mumbled- was very hard to understand

I'm not sure how much of my review is based on comparisons to the US; some of the differences may be common in Canada but they did a dry cuticle removal (no soaking) on my fingers. She really had to dig them out which was sometimes a little painful and I can't help but wonder if it would have been less painful if they had soaked first? Final product was really good shape & color.

Usually is very good. Initially manicure was very well done but unfortunately it chipped a day and half later. I don’t get my nails done often but got them done before a trip. Will be contacting them to get it fixed before I leave. Surprising because it is the Magic Polish. Previous manicures didn’t chip for weeks.

Noreen is does a consistently excellent job, all the time. Never rushed but efficient. She’s ok with not talking but will chat a bit too. She’s really lovely!

As usual, a nice young gentleman greeted me. Recharged my frozen phone. The music was relaxing. Winnie provided perfect service. I feel very fortunate to have such a nice nail bar in the neighborhood. I look forward to post covid when I can also sip a nice cup of hot tea while soaking my feet.

This might sound harsh but I don’t love chatting during beauty treatments and Lisa seemed to immediately understand this and let me read my book without judgment. She did an incredible job of my pedicure and I will definitely be asking for her again!

Got my nails done by Elizabeth, and it was so fun and mesmerizing to watch her create these stunning nails! Excited to have her as my nail artist!

It was a great experience. I have been getting my nails done with Unnati. She has been doing gel nails, and creates the nicest nail shape. As well, is very friendly, and makes good colour suggestions.

Every time I go to see BB I am always pleased. Great service and care for my nails! Creative designs and colours! I always go to the Plesis Location.

Will never step foot in an almond nail bar again. Witnessed an elderly lady get mistreated. Rude, hurtful and disrespectful to her. Her face showed disgust as she looked at this lady’s hands. Making a bad name for the nail bar everywhere. Keep it up.

I have been going to Almond Nail Bar for years! It’s very affordable and the staff all do a fantastic job. The environment is very warm and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!

My experience was not good. They did not file and take off the dead skin as much as they should have so my feet were still rough after the pedicure. I pointed this out when they asked about my experience and they agreed they could have done better. Then I was paying with a gift card that was bought at their location and they said it was for a different location. I was fortunate to be able to produce the receipt so they accepted the card. Overall a terrible experience.

Elizabeth has helped me get my nails to actually grow longer and stronger than they ever have been. A combo of extensions and almond dip followed by careful removal on my thin peely nails has led to long (for me) nails for the first time in my life! Wonderful attentive service. And she is so creative with nail art! Make sure to book the nail art add-on.

Winnie did an absolute botched job on my nails. She left me bleeding and blobs of nail posh on my nails. I could have done it better myself (which says a lot). I have had good luck with the others there but definitely not going back to Winnie.

The place was actually not bad. It was clean and pretty nice. My sister got trained there for a little bit and she needed a model so I went there with her. My sister’s trainer (Gurinder) was quite mean and I did not like her behaviour at all. She seemed professional and I get it, she was just trying her best to train my sister but she was not very nice, she was passing mean comments and she was very discouraging. This is the reason why my experience was not very pleasant.

Overall, a good - not great - experience. Certainly not the premium nail bar experience advertised on the website. Technicians were quiet and rushed. Gel manicure and pedicure look good, but my cuticles bled in a few spots after prep. I likely won't be returning.

I was not impressed with my experience. A couple months ago I got a pedicure at the KP location, all they had to offer was magic polish and told me that all the locations used this and the removal was built into the price of pedicures. When I booked at the Grant location it never specified otherwise. When I arrived the staff made a big deal out of it and loudly announced how they may not have “time” for the removal and how it would cost me…after they determined I was allowed to stay, the technician removed the magic polish in 3 minutes, and gave me a very subpar pedicure. The massage portion lasted about 20 seconds, she ran out of lotion and was too lazy to go get another so massaged my legs with cuticle oil. Disappointing and I won’t be returning. Don’t waste your money on this place, way overpriced.

I went in for a LCN fill and it was great! Unnati was awesome! She was very detailed and made sure everything was perfect! I will definitely be going back to see her.

Unnati, was my esthetician. I had my eyebrows waxed (threading not available due to covid restrictions) and a Spa Pedicure with reconstruction of a toe nail and gel polish. Unnati was very professional and thorough. I am very pleased with my results and will book with Unnati again.

I’ve never had someone be so gentle and meticulous when getting my acrylics done.never had an acrylic break off on me either, they’re so durable and affordable! I haven’t went to another salon since i first went to almond nail bar, absolutely love the service here.

Today was my first pedicure and nail reconstruction and I am very happy with it. Things always very clean and the receptionist is constantly cleaning as the day goes on.

Best Nail salon in ALL of Winnipeg, and very reasonably priced. All the girls there are great. They are so meticulous and do a wonderful job. I’ve been seeing Elisabeth for quite a while now and she’s amazing. My polish always lasts a full three weeks when she does it, and I can even stretch it out to four weeks if I have to. I cannot say enough great things about this nail salon. I refuse to go anywhere else!

I’ve been going to Almond Nail Bar on Grant for what seems like years now. I don’t even live in the area anymore and I still come back because of the great service and care I get every time. I see the same person every time and she is amazing.

I have previously enjoyed going here, it’s nice and professional. However, my technician was not up to par, my heels are still rough and cuticles are not properly cared for. The polish is not smooth or even, looks like its a week old already. Disappointed.

I went a week or so ago and 3 of my nails are already chipping at the side and eventually have popped off.: (I got a set of gel nails and I haven’t had this problem before. Disappointed.

Ashley is great to do pedicure I had made an apponitment for full face threading but they told me full face contains chin, brows and lip.and there were nobody to do full face threading, so I had to do waxing it was not bad, Rehana did for me, she is professional in eyebrows threading

Booked online 3 pedicures at the same time. Got to the salon & only 2 were at the time I chose and the other a hour and 15 minutes later. Why would I want to book 3 people that weren’t all at the same time. Wasn’t pleased with that since I wasn’t informed about it, and booked a week in advance. Will likely not return.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GEL NAILS! Thought I’d try this place out and now I regret going. I got my nails done on March 15 and by the 18 the top coat had turned a grey/purple colouring making my pink nails look awful. I called to get my nails redone and sure enough the exact same thing happened. My pink nails now look purple/grey not even a week after getting them redone. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I’ve gone to cheap places before that did a better job then Almond Nail Bar!

I am extremely happy with the beautiful job Ashley did on my gel nail fill. This was my first time to Almond Nail Bar. The decor was warm and comfortable. The receptionist welcomed me when I entered the salon. I booked a pedicure before I left. I highly recommend Ashley at Almond Nail Bar, she was friendly and does fantastic work. Thanks again! Excellent experience at Almond Nail Bar. Rehana did the most perfect polish job ever - a month later my toes still look newly done. I will definitely book there again.

Rehana was very nice, but nail bar opened late, we waited outside, my daughter was cold. Also, only cash payment was an issue. Not great for a first impression.
