This place is amazing. Absolute best service and incredibly accommodating. As well as top quality products.

Did not listen to request for shape or length of nails. Would have to have whole set redone and did not have the time to do it. Left very unhappy.

Worst Place to get your nails done from! My nails broke the second day and the nail paint was all smudged. One should never visit this location ever! NOT AT ALL what almond nail bar should really be! I wish could give 0 stars

5/10 of my nails have cuts from it being too rough. My friend who had her nails done at the same time also had multiple cuts.

The salon was clean, it was a relaxed environment, and my tech was pleasant and did an amazing job!

I have been to this location a couple of times with my daughter for manicures and pedicures. I have also had waxing, threading and tinting. I highly recommend Lovie, although all the staff at this location are exceptional! The Nail Bar is very clean and the staff is constantly cleaning. The tools used are sterilized and opened in front of you. You don't feel rushed, you feel relaxed. They also offer you a large variety of complimentary beverages Almond Bar should be Winnipeg's #1 Nail Salon!

Love was so meticulous and checked in with me often throughout doing my nails if I needed anything and if I was happy with how the nails were going. Wonderful job! Such a clean establishment and all the employees seemed so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Worst experience ever. Not worth it wasting time and money at this place. No skills. Employee was rude and not welcoming all they did was wash feet and apply nail polish within 10 mins.

I think the staff are friendly and all but my nails fell off after day 2 of having them. They replaced 7 nails and didn't bother to redo the other ones. My other ones are darker and more sharp (the way i like them) The ones I got redone are lighter in color and bulky. Shorter than my older ones and crooked. Not impressed. I paid 80$ for this set and I'm just disappointed with the outcome. I liked the first set I had better but they popped off easily.

Update- it's been 3 days and already the nails I got redone are coming off. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary to make them come off they are just popping off on their own.

We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The salon was pristine and lovely. After being offered tea, and water we enjoyed pedicures while we visited. We were thoughtfully asked if we liked the look of the colours we chose, how the massage was and overall had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Got a magic polish pedicure that is advertised as lasting longer than regular polish. 2 days later, startedchipping. Didn’t wear tight shoes, didn’t go swimming or anything that could have caused that. Was told they don’t offer any guarantee on it even tho they said it’s meant to last long and to me it seems similar to shellac. I’ve had pedicures with regular polish done that lasts much longer than this and it’s cheaper. Waste of money in my opinion. Go to a different salon and get regular polish, pay less and have it also last longer.

All the ladies are super friendly and very experienced. Love is my personal favorite and will be back for more pampering.

Went and got a pedicure and nail extensions. The experience was lovely but the quality is absolutely terrible. Within two days a nail broke and while they fixed it for free a day later another broke. It’s been 8 days and I’ve not had 5 nails snap off including one in my sleep! Had my nails done for a trip and ended up looking worse than they did before I had them done! Really disappointed.

My second time at this Almond Nail Bar location after trying out the Polo Park location. Staff are always very friendly and the atmosphere is always clean and well-maintained.

However, today I was disappointed. I had my nails done and staff was friendly and gentle but my nails do not look like the picture I provided as reference. As a result of $70, the lines on my nails are not straight as some are crooked and are much thicker than the reference picture I showed. The service lacked effort which is disappointing compared to the good experiences I have had with Almond Nail Bar. I also have a comparison picture of the nails I wanted vs.what I asked for which can be sent if needed. I will be sticking to going to the Polo Park location instead.

Probably the worst nails I’ve ever have had done, the colours did not match what I had asked for, the shaping was wonky, the French tips were done different on each nail, I went to another almond nail to get them fixed after not even 1 day and the nail technician there said my nails were already lifting because the tips were not put on correctly ended up wasting over $130 just to get my nails done correctly, 1 nail has already come off, not impressed and will not be coming back

I had a great experience the frist time I went so I went back. Sadly it was nothing like the first. The lady wad very nice but the quality of nails were very poor. I had to go home and re do them myself as they were huge looking and way to long.

I've had 2 fall off since making this review and they are by far the worst set of nails I have ever had done I'm so said I wasted 85 bucks On them. I've tried adding a photo but it won't let me!

My daughter had her nails done today and the lady who did them was so rough on her cuticles that they are all red and swollen! Also, 2 nails are crooked! Completely unacceptable. We are paying a premium at this salon for this kind of service? We won't be back. Very disappointed!

First off I want to start by saying the the atmosphere, services and people were AMAZING!
My daughter and I went last Tuesday for a Almond gel full set and pedicure.
Again loved the actual service, but the products not so much.
First they advertise no -nipping cuticle work. Which they used nippers. I'm good with that.
But their " Almond gel" full set is actually just a special gel they use to "attach" the full tips on. I even got the shellac gel polish on top.
Basically I got tips glued on with fancy glue. The tips have no strength and it is now less than a week later and I have had 3 nails split, 1 totally peel off and I'm probably going to have to cut the other ones down so that they don't crack further down my real nail.
For $61.95 I couldve glued those tips on at home myself for less, I wouldnt go back for a manicure but for sure a pedicure

First manicure for one of us, and first eyebrow/eyelash tint for the other. We had a fantastic experience. Very friendly, knowledgeable and kind estheticians. We have already booked an appointment for pedicures!

I went to Almond for a gel removal and a manicure. The salon was clean, customer service was good. I did not enjoy the service. I booked a manicure following my gel removal to help treat the dehydration from the gel removal. The manicure did not involve cuticle soften or even cuticle oil. The nail tech/esthetician continued to use the electric nail file for my manicure and proceed to do a DRY manicure - which was not what I had booked. I asked if all of their manicures are done dry and used with electric files and she said yes. I had also chosen a polish by the Vinylux which requires its own top coat other wise dry time is longer and the color does not last as long or as well. The nail tech I had was going to use a regular top coat and I had to request for the vinylux top coat. The only hydration my nails received was from the lotion during the massage. At the end of my manicure I had to request for cuticle oil. I understand the sensitivity your nails will feel after a gel removal, but my nails were completely worn down from the over use of the electric file and I still had quite a bit of dead skin and cuticle left. I would not recommend or return.

This evening I saw Jaspreet for threading and not only did they do a great job, they were lovely to speak with, ensured to ask my opinion on what I preferred, and offered advice for things I had questions on. Awesome service. Thanks again, Jaspreet!:)

Extremely disappointed with my first visit at the Almond Nail Bar. I had 5 gel nails fall off in the first 5 days I had my nails. I contacted management for a refund but of course the answer was no. I would have even excepted a partial refund or a gift certificate. I paid a whopping $85.00 after tax (including a generous $10.00 tip) & I only got one colour with no nail art. Will not be returning and will definitely not be recommending. Not happy.

I had such a relaxing experience here. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I had a pedicure done, it was done very well, I appreciated the cleanliness of the whole thing, the tub, the tools, I never felt at risk. Kiranbir did a great job with my toes and the foot massage was so relaxing. We may not have done much talking (which I prefer as an introvert) but I felt listened to and cared for. Thank you Kiranbir and the whole team.

Had my daughter’s 10th birthday party there. All the kid’s loved it! Staff was very patient and attentive.

The worst experience I have ever had. Their prices may be reasonable but you get what you pay for. The person working on my nails clipped them so short he caught the skin under the nail bed. The ones he filed are completely uneven. I opted to not let him continue it was so bad.

I've been going to Almond Bar since they opened. I have to say that today's pedicure by Kiran was by far the best. My feet feel fantastic and the polish looks great!

After having a bad manicure at the KP location, I got a new gel manicure and magic colour pedicure from here. Kiran was so kind & did an amazing job. I was also offered a beverage during my short wait, which I didn’t experience at KP. Salon is clean, observe proper COVID protocol, staff are wonderful and friendly, manager took extra mile to answer my question on husband's foot problem even though I went there for the pedicure of my two kids.
Staff who pedicured my kids were both gentle and did awesomel job. My kids were both very happy with the experience and are looking forward for their next visit. Will book soon for our whole family

I have never tried this nail salon before, needles to say i was very happy i did. They were very professional and helpful and patient with my situation. I le ft happy and Raj did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this salon.

Staff is friendly. Facility is clean. Quality of work is lacking. I've been here three times. First time my experience was ok. I was promptly greeted and seated to a pedi station. I was offered a complimentary beverage. When filing dead skin on my feet I had to ask the girl to stop as it was 'getting raw' she went over areas that did not have build up of dead skin several times. My cuticles were not meticulously pushed back or cleaned up. My nail prep was minimal and uneven. The sides were not evened out, trimmed or filed, ingrown were imminent. Under my nails was not cleaned out. I like to give second chances so I went a second time. I walked in again greeted promptly. However, there was no one to take me and no staff willing to come in to assist me. Only two staff were working with other clients. I was sent away. My third time was similar to my first visit. The work lacked precision the cleaning was minimal and shaping was uneven. I was asked if I wanted my nails cut and I indicated only regrowth length as I had polish from my last pedi. My nails were cut all the way down. Polish did not extend to nail bed. Lifting will happen as last time due to minimal cuticle pushing and nail prep. One nail was filed too thin. Felt burning. Won't be returning.

Had a great experience at almond nail bar (McPhillips). It was my first time having dip nails done and I absolutely love them.

I don't even wanna give them any rate right now because of what they did to my. Do not even bother going here for a laser hair removal. They use ipl machine and the staff don't have any knowledge of how to operate the machine. I know for sure they got a deal but it really does not work. They told me i need 6 treatments for my hair removal to be totally gone I’ve been there for over 6 sessions, nothing changed and my hair on my body got worse. Also they will burn your skin because just what i told you guys they never went to school on how to do laser hair removal. So for the people out there that’s planning to go here DO NOT go to this place all they say is lie. This is a real experience guys. Just wanna report them on what they did to me i was expecting to have a clear smooth body turned out really bad and now i have to find a real person who does a real laser hair removal. Thank you to what you did Aihleen and to your other staff.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now, on and off. The staff are friendly and the service is great. Due to a hormonal imbalance I get a lot of facial hair and body hair. I’ve spent the last little while trying to decrease it. I’ve had my face and neck done at SHR and it’s been great. I saw results even after the first appointment. The prices are fair and they offer great package deals. I’ve recommended them to all my friends!
