Some of the employees are very nice and helpful, understanding too, but i don't know if the lady who sits in the front counter is manager or who but is very rude, 1st time they took US$ currency and gave back CAD$ change, but the next time i don't know why she said i have to give $75 USD, where as the bill was CANADIAN $75 DOLLARS.i mean what? So never went back there

A slightly better experience than Venetian Nail Spa, HOWEVER I'm wonder if these 2 salons are owned by the same company. The interior decorating, layout and design is very similar, almost the same.
I wanted a do-over for some shoddy acrylic work at a previous nail salon. Again, it was pick a colour first but with a wait, even though I had an appointment. At least I got have a consultation and be able to explain what was going on with the natural nails, the acrylics from the other place and what I wanted fixed.
The lady seemed nice and wasn't as aggressive, but my gosh, there should be a course you have to pass and a license obtained to use Dremel drills on customers. I thought I felt like I got nicked by the barrel drill but thought it was just a graze until after the appointment when I saw cuts on my cuticles. It didn't really hurt me too much but then I thought of the chemicals and dust that could've caused infections and contact dermatitis. I hope they clean and disinfect those drill bits if blood gets on them.
Now, I had wanted a sparkly blue colour and decided on a French tipped design with the colour. The base colour she put on was way too light and the gel application ended up being too thick and gooped in places. I asked to have a squoval shape but got rounded tips instead. A few days later I couldn't stand it and filed off the gel polish and just added my own polish. Felt like $65 down the drain. I have a acrylics at home I'm learning to use. I've done about the same quality of work that I got at both salons.

I wish they wouldn’t upsell the entire time you are getting your nails done. I asked for one thing and by the time I leave I have been pressured into things I didn’t want and my bill is out of control.

Terrible.i got mine here and i asked for gel nails.she says “no no you should get just painted! ” and i said “no i want gel” she says “no” i saw all of the gel she had.and also they made me wait 1 hour after booking an appointment.anyhoo, after j was done, they were unshaped gross and just not cute.dont recommend

I had an appointment booked for 5pm for a set of acrylic nails. I didn’t receive any service until 5: 27, the lady sat down, did not say hi/how are you etc. Clipped and filed down my nails, glued the long tips on and left me sitting there for over 40 minutes with no explanation. It is now 7: 15 and I am JUST leaving from a 5pm appointment of what should have been a 45 minute service. I am not one to complain or leave bad reviews but this was absolutely ridiculous. I will not be returning.

Every time I go here they do a fairly good job! I did have to wait 45minutes after my appointment time though so minus a star for that.

I remember losing my wallet here was the first time I ever took cash with me they told me to leave my belongings at the door where everyone else’s stuff was, so I did, I worked so hard those two weeks and took extra shifts for my coworkers i called asking them if they seen a black wallet they said yea and had to spell my last name just to find out I was left with 40$ this was the first place I stopped as I live hours away, they said two ladies returned it from the side of the building meanwhile I parked right in front of the doors then wouldn’t show me the security footage and that there boss was out off town so I ended up losing out on 500$.

I wish I could give zero stars, I went in with my friend. Who got charged almost 100$ for plain nails. The lady over filed the nails leaving some coffin style and some straight making some way shorter than the rest. Kept pulling and telling her that she was wrong to be picking certain style and color. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

First time going here and sadly I won’t be back. Terrible shellac manicure, there was nail polish alllll over my skin and when I asked if she could clean it up she quickly took a file to it and tried but sent me on my way with paint all over my hands and fingers…. Not to mention the shellac manicure lasted A DAY before it started to chip.would not recommend this place: (

The place is super clean but feel my pedicure was so rushed. She didn't even cut my nails or ask if I wanted them cut, she barely scrubbed any of the calluses off my feet and didn't ask if I wanted a design on my big toe. It cost me $50 and felt it was poor value. I ended up cutting some of my nails when I got home. I won't go back to this location. The price was too high for what you get.

We always come to this location and love it. The upgrades they did are beautiful. Will definitely be back.

The woman definitely rushed through my nails, she made them way shorter than I wanted them and made them very square when I asked for a rounded square. I tried mentioning to her that they were too short when she was clipping the tips but she wouldn’t listen. She also purposely filed my acrylics down at the base by my cuticles so I’ll have to come in sooner for a fill in. Also when I picked a color she gave me a totally different color and when I tried to correct her and say the color was wrong she told me I was wrong and just continued painting my nails. Very rude and did my nails terribly.

My boyfriend and myself went to this shop on Sunday. One star because my feet turned out decent, but I didnt require much work. However, my boyfriend's feet are the problem. He needed callous remover and when we got home I was looking at his feet and there was two cuts on his feet; the cut that's on his big toe was bleeding. He's an athlete and using his feet is apart of his business. I feel like if you are not trained for men feet or know how to smooth callous (since you're only supposed to smooth and not remove according to state board) properly you should let someone else take over. NOT A GOOD SHOP FOR CALLOUS IN GENERAL.smh. This is ridiculous!

This is the first review I have ever left. Worst service I have encountered. I have never felt like such an inconvenience in my life. I brought a 2 friends who were part of a wedding and the bride here. She did my nails and between demanding we sit down, not move at all so she could paint my nails, and after asking us to sit, asking that we move if someone comes in. Nails were poor quality at best and I felt I was the one working. She also did not paint my nails evenly. As I left she bumped past me asking if I had paid yet. Did not excuse herself. No basic customer service needs were met. Super disappointing experience.

Recently renovated. Beautiful and clean. They were conscious of not making me have to wait at all for my services.

Last minute came with the wife to get her nails done and its the worst service yet so far. Was tossed around amongst employees. Worst experience!

Worst customer service i ever experienced. Had a full set of bio gels with shellac done on December 8th on december 11th had to go in and get 2 fixed because they peeled off.then on December 16th had to go in and get yet another one fixed because it was peeling the fix they did was to just glue it down.then today December 18th i had 3 more peel off so i went in and they removed the bio gel and did the uv gel. After they were finished they charged me 40 dollars (i paid 80 on the 8th). And said that i have to pat becauze the lady that originally did them isnt in and they need to speak with her and that i can come back and possibly get a credit.how do you justify charging someone another 40 for having to replace they work originally done by your salon.
Word of advice for everyone.dont waste your time or money they dont care about their clients and are clearly only there for the money.

DON’T RISK YOUR HEALTH! We used to love this place until my mom was INFECTED here. My mom got acrylic put on, it was too long so she went back to get them fixed. The woman glared at her, was very rude, and TORE the nails off and redid them. Now she has a HORRIBLE BRUISED INFECTION from whatever chemicals they used and their brutal treatment. She has been to 3 doctors and a dermatologist. They say she has a severe infection and says this nail place “BRUTALIZED” her nails. She will take YEARS to heal. RUN!

Excellent service, I highly recommend this nail salon! I am very happy of the results. I had a sheilac mani and a pedicure. My nails look gorgeous. The beauty therapist who attended me really took her time and gave a little foot scrub and hand massage. I will definitely go back. Thank you!

Staff was sweet, attentive and took good care when working on my fingers and toes. My regular pedicure was great - clean tools, clean station, bath petals to soak feet in, lovely smelling scrub and creams! My toes looked great for weeks. This was my second visit. Service and quality of work was consistent both times. I will be back for sure.

I went here for the first time and sadly I won't be coming back. The place was nice and seemed clean but the quality of manicure and pedicure I got was horrible. The technician didn't do a good job. Everything was rushed. My nails are still dirty and still full of callouses. My nails are already short when I came in and she still filed them which was fine except they are not all the same shape. Some nails are more rounded than others. I asked for a french manicure. Technician said she can do it. But I guess she can't do them straight because the more I asked her to fix it, the more uneven it gets. One side of the french design is always higher than the other side (see pictures). It's so disappointing because I could've done a better job myself.

I don't really leave reviews but I was quite disappointed in this service. It was my first visit and I got a pedicure with shellac. They cut my toenails incredibly short that Im surprised they didnt cut my skin - they couldn't go any shorter. My toes were bleeding as they worked on them. I've never had a pedicure hurt. A couple days later the shellac started to chip, I've never had that happen. And to top it off the bill was over $70. I will never go back here.

Asked for a gel manicure; they used acrylic, told me it was gel, and then told me I was wrong when I said otherwise. It was a powder they had to use with a liquid, and the next salon I went for a fill to immediately said "Oh, that's acrylic. You can smell it" when filing them down. Misleading place, also not great service. The one on McPhillips is oodles better.

Went there first time for my vacation. I was impressed by how nice and friendly the tecs were. They were fast so I could leave right away as I worked on my lunch break.

My first disappointment was that I got my arms waxed there but they ripped off my skin. And shockingly they showed NO SYMPATHY!

Last time I went there, they charged me extra and when I asked for explanation, the business owner made up an excuse. So I said that I was charged way less previous times for the same service, and she said "You were lucky that my colleagues charged you less than what they should have! "

Horrific.got a pedicure, ended up having to go to the walk in clinic two days later for “athletes foot” A FUNGAL INFECTION, all over my toes. Disgusting, they rushed, they didn’t use new equipment, they didn’t use a film over their soak basins. Honestly the worst experience. I am horrified, this place was disgusting

This place had horrible service. My nails were not done the way i wanted them done. My sister wanted marble nails and they just drew lines and charge her $60. I wouldn't recommend or go back. I also had my daughters hands and feet painted, so we were separated because I had to go to a table to have my nails done. I didn’t take a look at her nails until I got home. I AM SPEECHLESS, my daughter could have done a better job herself, the paint job was sloppy, the way they shaped each nail differently is beyond any imaginable.

I have been here since they opened many years ago, and in the last year I’ve switched between many many nail techs because they all quit. All the employees are unfamiliar to me, and based on my experience, they are very very unexperienced. The quality has also gone downhill, and I think it’s a good idea to start looking for a new regular place to go.

This has been my go-to nail salon and I highly enjoy my experience every time I come here. Staff are super nice and really helpful. Would give this place 5 stars for the quality.

The absolute WORSE nail salon I have ever been to in life. They are very impersonal and their prices are too high for the poor service you receive. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. My feet looked worse than they did before I went in. The nail tech looked very uninterested the entire time. The nail tech who did my manicure did a pretty decent job, but that foot tech needs to stay home. Never again! They treat you like a fast food chain, just trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible.if I had to compare them to any restaurant it would be McDonald’s

I've tried to make it work here. Over the years and change after change after change of staff and possibly management, I'm over it.

Bottom line, none of the good techs stay. Nobody stays really. Last time I walked in the store was absolutely horrible. Unfriendly is the understatement of the universe. They GLARED hard and didn't even speak to each other or me. A group of about five or six workers. Looking miserable and really mean.

I felt so uncomfortable. One lady felt extremely put out when I called out to the group asking if anyone would help. Her body language was so aggressive that I was super intimidated.

I got up almost immediately after I was seated and left because I felt so completely uncomfortable. Never to return.

By far the worst nail salon I have EVER been to. I'm going to tell you now if you are thinking about going there for the first time DONT! I went in for a refill and the nail tech didn't bother filing down my old set and put a extremely thick layer of the color powder I asked for. I brought it to her attention and she looked at me as though I was a complete idiot. After she filed my nails it looked like half my thumb was missing and underneath my nails were never cleaned. Needless to say I will never be going back. (Also, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing setting this isn't the place. It's loud!)

Just really poor service ESPECIALLY for the price. I no longer go there because i just can’t see paying all that money for such nasty attitude even if it was free I would not want to go back. The person who serviced me was also tending to the front desk at the same time, she cursed me out when I told her I came to relax and enjoy my mani pedi. She kept going back and forth and speaking out loud to the other technicians as she’s king my nails. And it’s not the first time I got very rude service. I gave them chance after chance because it’s a convenient location for me but I found a better place where the technicians have manners. It’s only a matter of time before this place goes out of business with this type of service the word will get out.but then again maybe they just want certain people there. ;) Well now you have it. I will never come back!
