Altona Hotel

Stopped in for a bit to eat on my way through. I was recommended the curry which is a NEW menu item.

It was AMAZING! If your into curry i would highly recommend coming down.

Hotel was clean with spacious rooms. We stayed there as a large group and were very well accommodated. Great service at the front desk and in the restaurant and bar as well. Our dinner was fantastic and again our large group was very well accommodated there in the restaurant as well. I would definitely go back!

Wonderful, the pool was clean with right temperature, spa was clean hot and had wonderful jets. Service was amazing.

Thank you again Altona Hotel for another amazing work lunch! The pick up order was on time and perfect. I appreciate the extra effort to accommodate a food allergy in the group. Also, thank you for accepting and preparing our order to meet our schedule, before your kitchen officially opened! 10/10 will order again.

I spent 3 nights, pool and hot tub were great! Cleaning staff did a great job. Lots of parking, close to amenities. Small lovely town.

Had a wonderful restful stay. The hotel was slightly dated creating a nostalgic feeling.but felt fresh and was super clean. The beds and sheets were soft and comfortable. Staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. Nice corner nook for cozy morning coffee! Would for sure stay here again!

The rooms are very large and look to be recently renovated as well. Don't often stay in small towns, but this was a great experience which makes me looking forward to having a chance to come back. There is a pool and jacuzzi tub and access to a gym as well across the street. As well the attached bar and restaurant, Grumpys, is some of the best food I have had in a long time. Fresh ingredients and food made in house, I'd definitely recommend coming here if you need a place to stay.

The room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only thing is that the building was not very well lit. So when arriving in the evening it was a little hard to find and get to our room.

We found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. The price of the room was was very reasonable. It is a nice e place to stay

Large clean room with a kitchenette. Had an issue with hot water but as soon as I mentioned it, they got it corrected right away.

I visited the inside of the bar this week and ordered a wrap and fries with a ceaser and woah was it good. The staff were awesome and the food is great 10/10

We were in Altona for a hockey tournament. This is the second time this year we’ve stayed in the Altona hotel and both times it was great! The staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are clean, the pool area is fun and the coffee and food was great! In highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area. (Sometimes they are a bit short staffed…who isn’t these days… so he prepared to have some patience and give yourself a few extra minutes for getting places.)

No access to any Sports channels, which was really disappointing given World Juniors was on.
Otherwise, all else was good.

This service is horrible, when we called to make a reservation it took forever cause you couldn't even understand the person! Then when we got here they had canceled our reservation when they were supposed to cancel another they did it to another person we knew. Instead of incomadating us they and kicking out the other person wengot kicked out. Would not recommend this place at all.

Rooms are very clean. Bathroom is a little dated but they make up for that with friendly service. Also had some food in the restaurant and it was fantastic.

So if you are looking for a nice small motel with excellent service and fantastic food you have found it here. One of my best stays.
