Amsterdam Tea Room and Bar

Aylie is a magician who keeps mixing me the yummiest drinks! The atmosphere is great, whether you feel like dressing up, dressing down, or just chilling out for a while. Haven’t been to the Tea Room yet? You definitely need to check it out.

Came in around 1pm on Tuesday for a little post-move clean-up pick-me-up. Chris welcomed me with a friendly smile and made an excellent suggestion on a boozy Earl Grey. While chatting he told me about the food features he is currently working on and sold me on a very enjoyable feature called the Tokyo Tartare, it was perfect for snacking and had a great crispy sesame flavoured rice cracker and the petite tenderloin was rich and fresh tasting.

I would totally come back based on this experience for lunch, cocktails or any time.

Tea and Alcohol is a mixed concept that shouldn’t work… but it marvelously does at Amsterdam. Beautiful and innovative cocktails all infused with a broad variety of high end tea makes this an unforgettable experience. Wrap that in with a fantastic ambiance in the buzzing Exchange District and this automatically becomes a can’t miss spot. I will be back.

Had a great experience here! The staff were great, and rocking a busy space! The bar set up is super cool, they have a wonderful selection of Alcohol Free offerings on the menu and I suspect he food would be delicious as everything we saw leave the kitchen looked amazing! 10/10 Amsterdam is a must visit in Winnipeg! I've been going here for over a year now, not many places draw the type of loyalty this unique restaurant does. I have tried every cocktail on their menu and many of their food options and cannot say enough good things about it. Especially if Devin is there. He tailors the service to you and is absolutely amazing both on the floor serving and supervising as GM. I recommend this place to absolutely everyone!

Great spot for innovative cocktails. Ask for Mel, she will make you the best drink you’ve ever had.

Our experience Tuesday night was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and Melaney was a wonderful bartender! Can’t wait to come back for the whiskey flights I was told about!

Another gem in the Exchange District
Small but amazing food menu and extensive tea and cocktail selection

We came here due to a recommendation of a food blogger about their burger for the burger week. The burger was great and the pickleback cocktail was smooth and strong. I personally loved it. We also ordered the squash hummus and it wasn’t good at all, it didn't came as described in the menu, it was very dry and the flavors were not good at all. We usually take hummus dish as an appetizer and we usually finish every drop but this one was bad. The waitress was very pleasant and nice.

Drink was phenomenal.

I am gluten free and this bun here was amazing! Excellent service from Aylie! Such a warm and welcoming place to have supper.
