Animal Hospital of Manitoba

I have taken three of my pets here, after a terrible experience with a different vet hospital. They were friendly and very patient with my furbabies. My cats and I have had nothing but great experiences at this hospital and I love that they treat your pets like your family. They have earned my business for life. If you are looking for a place that treats you and your pets like an extension of their own family, definitely check this place out.

I took my pup here twice this past week, first for a consult/exam, the 2nd for diagnostics that were recommended as to her chronic cough/choking as well as her shaky back legs. Two vet appts in the same week - fantastic that they were able to accommodate the follow-up so quickly!
Previously, I was told by a vet she was seeing at Anderson Animal Hospital that it was suspected she was dealing with a collapsing trachea and was therefore treated as such. An assumption I trusted. Dr. Zheng highly recommended we do x-rays and blood work to get a full accurate picture of what is going on with my sweet girl, as he pointed out a very sensitive trachea does not mean collapsing later in age, that her symptoms could be a result of a number of things. That said, I can also definitely tell you that the cost (s) here at this clinic are more reasonable than at any previous vet clinic I've ever taken my pets to. I agreed to the diagnostic tests. Turns out my sweet girl has been suffering needlessly the last 1.5 yrs as she does not have a collapsing trachea. She has now been accurately diagnosed with chronic severe bronchitis, which could have been treated much sooner than now had I known, and she definitely would have had much higher quality of life this last 1.5 yrs. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Zheng at Animal Hospital of Manitoba for their care, for being so thorough and for not overcharging your patient's owners. I feel it really is about the care, comfort, and compassion for both the pet and the owner (s) at Animal Hospital of Manitoba. Highly recommend, and I will absolutely continue bringing all my fur babies here from now on.

Horrible Rude Staff that answers the phones. She shouldn’t be allowed to deal with the public. Go anywhere but here. RUDE RUDE RUDE

I found this Vet to be pretty shady. I don't understand how you can press on a cat's stomach for 3 seconds and immediately know what's the issue. I asked, "How can you tell"? And he would not answer. I've seen other vets do that too. I even advised what was wrong with my cat however, he insisted on doing the $700+ test and made me feel bad about it. So I did it and, I was right all along. What should have been a $300 visit landed up costing over $700. I was previously forewarned about this vet being shady and I didn't listen. Wont be back.
If he presses on your animal's stomach and tells you what's wrong in 5 seconds, you're being swindled.

I was amazed at the service I received from this veterinarian. He was so nice to my granddaughter even let her hear Ozzy (my pug) heartbeat. The doctor was so informative on Ozzy’s medical needs. I definitely have brought my other pet Joey (cat) to his practice. I couldn’t be happier and would recommend him.

Highly recommended Animal Hospital their staff and Dr. Zhang are very nice to their client.

Doctor was good. Our pet enjoyed his first visit to doctor. Doctor gave him alot of treats and our pet enjoyed alot.

Nurse and vet were very good with our new puppy, she barely even felt the shot! She loved the treats and the care, definitely an easy first check up! Thank you!

We had to put our cat down and this was the most low cost place to do it. The staff were very compassionate. You could tell Dr. Zheng was busy but it was still a good experience and I would come here again.

The prices are good but I don't like how Dr. Zheng make up a diagnosis instantly and then he won't answer your questions about why it looks like a different problem.

Was directed to the Animal Hospital MB after our first dog passed away due to exorbitant costs that other veterinary offices charge. We have now been coming here with our current dog for 3 years and have zero complaints. Appointments are always available and easy to book, all the staff are very kind and smile when you enter, and Dr. Zheng is an excellent vet providing amazing care at affordable prices. I've even brought over other pet parents with other types of animals to switch to the hospital! Dr. Zheng will continue to be our veterinarian as long as we are pet owners.

I came in for the first time with my 12-week old kitten to get her first shots done. The receptionists and Dr. Zheng was very welcoming. Since I was a first-time pet owner, I was overwhelmed and filled with the questions. Dr. Zheng was so interactive and he answered all my questions and also gave me additional information.

Also, the clinic environment is so neat and clean. Not pricey.

Just got my dog his rabies and boost vaccine the dr was very good and the staff are very friendly

I came in for the first time with my 10-week old kitten to get her deworming and first shots done. The receptionists were very welcoming, and the doctor was informative and understanding of all my questions, but efficient!

Dog died. They told my daughter she had to make an appointment for the next day to take him in.
I use them for meds for my other dog. But she’s not going to be around much longer. Prescription I fill at another vet expired. They won’t sell less than a full bottle so I ask for a new script. Charge $20. Get the “thanks for coming in” email. I say had no other choice. Don’t like you. They fire me. Haha

They were great and helpful. I called a number of times regarding issues I had completely forgot and they were more than happy to help.

I took my puppy chip there today and they answer all question I had such awsome vet. The price not that pricey at all, if need vet go here.

The vet was very compassionate with my cat. It was my cats first time at the vet.
Prices are affordable.
They give quotes to see which option is best for your cat before they do anything so you have a choice.

Do not let them bait and switch you or buy so called mixed on site food. They get you in with the promise of free examination only to tell you, if you need medicine or shots for your animal you have to pay full price for exam or it's out they door you go. Should not be allowed to practice on any animal period. Will be informing Veterinary bord on so called Dr and his bizarre behavior.

I tried to sit down with the vet and talk about the recommended things I do to my dog, keep him safe

They just said, don't look at that in the vet, go home and sit down and look at it, lol they knew giving me a 1800 dollar vet check up on a healthy dog! Was stupid
