I had visited Apple store at Polo Park for trade in iphone. And I had the worst service since Im using iphones in my life. Was told one amount and actually when I checked my ereceipt at home it was a different amount that hadn’t agreed with initially. I called back to the store, spoke with three different people including manager Tim (as he introduced himself).
No one takes responsibility to discuss with customer any problems. Mean people working this place, I haven’t expected such impolite response from managers. I wish we had a better customer service in Winnipeg, it’s very poor service.

Today I have visited apple store polo park again to buy an iPhone 15. Actually I visit the store time by time to buy accessories and all. However, reason for giving less number is poor greeting service. When i enter in store i did not interacts with anyone because i know what i need to buy so I directly check out some iPhone 15 and wait over there for someone to assist me, after waiting for a while i noticed couple of sales member were really busy with customers which is fantastic like they are educating the customer to make right choice but some were just roaming and even though having eye contact with me couple of time but they just ignore it so I am unable to understand this kind of service and finally i was noticed by one employee so instead of approaching to me she redirect someone else to help me, i get it everyone belongs to different department but you should attain the customer first then redirect them in respective department. To be honest, apple is world's biggest tech giant company and this kind of behavior is not acceptable from employee. This experience I faced in polo park apple store, Winnipeg. Not every customer wants assistant to understand the features because they have already done research but they only want hand in buying. I personally request to store manager or regional head to pay attention and try to improve the service.

I went there for repair in apple store. They just said we can’t help you to repair power button and it costs you 800 dollars. But when we came back home, we just gave it try it started to work.

Wish I could give zero or negative stars. The manager was beyond rude and condescending. They refuse to back their defective products. Based on those 2 reasons, my next phone will be a Samsung. I know I am a small fish in a big sea, but I will no longer support Apple when they won’t support me and make me feel like an inconvenience.

UPDATE:
Spoke directly to 1-800-MY-APPLE and they’re sending me a new phone to replace the one I’m having an issue with.
Thx to the kind lady who listened to my concern with the camera lens and offered a solution to replace the phone.

Waited 30 minutes after my set appointment time. The “Genius Bar staff member” was rude and condescending. He was rushing between customers saying he needed coffee.
I was trying to explain my camera issue and then when I tried to explain further he said “can I speak? ” Really? Can you listen to me first? I spoke to the manager who was much better to deal with. At least he was polite.

Jason was the only good part of my visit, friendly and kind.few other employees are pretentious and rude.
Impossible to get a greeting from anyone as their heads are buried deep into their phones, ignoring anyone who has a question to then shove them off.
Outdated, the place looks like a chefs kitchen with all the metal.

Recently the staff would hover around while I'm playing on the computer. A computer that's for sale. Well, it's all goes to proper salesmanship: allowing members of the public to assess your product. If their product can address certain needs, fill the roles it needs to.

A rash of thefts? What warrants these individuals who break that magic aura? That spark you get from discovering a device that'll work wonders in your life.

Ruined my experience.
Bad salesmanship.
Poor reflection of a respectable company.
Dealing with Apple is great, this store is terrible. Needs work.

I drove 8hrs to get my iPhone 13 fixed. When I got there the first day they had no issues and suggested that I back up my information and photos before getting it fixed. That wasn’t an issue and I went back the next day after spending 5-6 hrs backing it up. I came back to the store. Unfortunately, I was with Charmaine. WORST employee EVER! Nothing but attitude, didn’t know how to work her tablet, or how to solve my issues. Spoke down to me and rudely when I explained that I drove 8 hrs and this is ridiculous. The “team leader “ -who Charmaine refused to get- also game mr attitude. I did not deserve to be treated like this, their body language was rude as well eye rolling and sighing. I’ve never witnessed such unprofessionalism in a store. Especially an apple store! If you get Charmaine RUN!

Super helpful staff, was kind of funny that they are out of stock on most ipads even though I can walk down to the source and they have pretty much everything there. But I understand people bought a lot of ipads during covid and there is probably an inventory shortage. Would definitely recommend if you need some help understanding the differences between apple products.

Terrible service and updates.
Bought IMac Pro 16 inch … after 1 1/2 years of limited use the screen display doesn’t work.
They seemed to have no idea what, how or why.
Only to say it’s $1000ti repair and after 2 weeks, I had to call and have them tell me the part is delayed and could be another few weeks, also no idea.
They have an automated system to just get you to give up.
The fall back of course is “ You didn’t purchase the APPLE Warrenty. B. S.
Thought Apple was a quality machine … guess NOT … I can now purchase 2 non Apple laptops for the price of the repair on a $3000 1 1/2 years old IMac Pro …
Pretty Ridiculous and I guess if you APPLE you can do whatever because you are your own God … or have a superiority complex.
We’ll have to see what end result of my repair is … not at all confident that it has been diagnosed properly or that they will keep adding $ costs until they do.
Would rethink any future Apple product purchase

Some of these people at the store are beyong arrogant. I have now had 2 water resistent phones that have had issues do to wet hands. The store said it was due to water damage when the phone is advertised to be good to 6 meters. They refused to fix my phone when I bought it in mid December and returned it 6 weeks later. I asked, please tell me where in manitoba I could drop this phone in more than 6 meters of water. Arrogantly they argued and now I am taking them to small claims. They offered to give me my money back and I said not good enough. I suggest all do the same so they stop screwing everyone.

Went to this store to get my phone fixed and they told me they couldn’t find an issue. This was after 3 weeks of trying to get it fixed. Finally someone told me I could record It on my phone the issue that is happening. Left, immediately the issue happens. Went back again and they finally saw the issue. Fixed it in an hour. Got the phone and the new screen protector was scratched and not put on for me. Told me I could buy a new one. I declined. Got home to clean it and put it back on and it shattered. Was happy, but really? Giving me a damaged screen protector and not even putting it on? Disappointing.

Me and my wife went today thinking of buying a laptop. When we got there nobody greeted or assisted us. It wasn’t too busy that time in the store. There’s a lot of staff just standing there but nobody approached us and no one bothered to ask if we needed assistance. Eventually my wife approached a lady staff but did not bother to come near the laptop and seemed hesitant to assist. Looked like they’re busy chatting among themselves and busy for nothing. Such a lousy staff. We went home empty handed with a big disappointment. If ever you want to buy apple products don’t go to this store it’s much better online than dealing with these people. Such a useless staff.

I went to Apple Polo Park to get a new iPhone and decided to do a Trade-In with my old device to get some credits for the new one. I thought I was very well and fast attended. But now I realized that everything was such a rush, and in the end, I left the store very unhappy with my situation.
I had to erase my old device before completing the purchase, and the representative was like, now do this, do this, just going with the flow and not explaining the consequences of each step on this whole process. They checked I had a backup, and it was it. And I didn’t question because, hey, it’s Apple, I have had iPhones for almost 10 years and I never had problems with their solutions or programs, they know what they’re doing. I guess not so much.
When trying to activate the new phone I was locked out of my Apple ID because I couldn’t pass the Two Factor Authentication. I know I’m responsible for my settings, but I think the representative should ask, do you have Two Factor Authentication? Do you know your Apple ID password? Do you know your trusted phone number? Not only check if you have a backup but what is the matter of having a backup if you can’t access it?
At the store, looking I was locked out of my Apple ID, the representative started a recovery process, but they didn’t explain to me what it was, what would be the options for it, and especially, how long the recovery process would take. They didn’t mention it at all and was fully sure that I would be able to change my trusted number in a few hours, in 24 hours at max. Again, everything was in a rush, do this, type this… Explaining nothing. Turns out that the recovery process would take SEVEN DAYS. Seven days without my contacts, photos, apple music, apps subscriptions, passwords on iCloud keychain, reminders, notes, files on the iCloud drive, passes on my wallet…
And I was thinking, I was inside an Apple Store, in front of a Genius Bar, and no one there could help me to get access to my account. I was in there in person, in color, live, with my ID, with access to mail, to the credit card I use on my App Store, and all other information only I could present, to prove that I’m the owner of my Apple ID, but there was no such option for me to do it there. Why do we only have the option to do it online?
I called Apple to solve it, to rush this process, and they said that this waiting was Apple Standards. Those are very poor standards, I’m sorry. (Actually, Apple is the one that should be sorry). Can you imagine being seven days being unable to work? Unable to listen to your favorite music, missing events, reminders… How can Apple let their customers without a phone for seven days, in 2022? And we pay for iCloud, but we don’t have the option to access it whenever we want, or don’t have priority support.
I was very unpleased with this whole experience, how rushed it was, and how not thinking it was. I surely would not recommend this Apple Store.

Was told I was entitled to one free screen replacement/repair per year with apple care+, so I booked an appointment went to apple store at polo just to be told my specific phone the iPhone se 2020 needs to be replaced if the back glass is cracked because the way apple made the phone it does not come apart so they just replace the entire phone.well for a fee of 130$ plus taxes they will.my phones already two years old if I’m going to spend that much I might as well upgrade to a newer model.not very happy with apple anymore.

Cool store and have lots of products but hate how 10 different people ask me every 2 minutes if I need any help. Just would like to browse a bit without constantly getting interrupted. A few times is okay but it's often way too often.

Went to purchase an apple watch series 3 and the sales rep basically shamed me for wanting to purchase this model. I understand they would have a responsibility to advise that it's older technology but this person saying things like "it's like buying a 1970's car and that it wouldn't have a very long life". If they are going to sell this series the person buying it should not feel like they are purchasing a product Apple is not willing to stand behind. Take it off the shelf if it's not a viable product.

The customer service at the Polo Park Apple store is 'PATHETIC'. I bought an iphone from the store. Upon asking to put it in a bag, the salesperson refused saying they don't have any bags available for the phone. I saw other people holding bags and walked to the other salesperson. I asked for a bag stating I had to gift it to someone. She immediately handed over me a bag.
This is such a shame that they are treating their customers differently for such a petty thing. AWFUL Staff! Horrible customer service.

Made an appointment online. They ran late and and then automatically cancelled it? They state that if they run late by ten minutes appointments are automatically canceled. I am, in fact, already checked in and waiting in the store. I finally check to find out whats going on. They then state I can put me back in the que…. Not impressed with the service and my current 2 month old iPhone. Having CarPlay connectivity issues from the port of my iPhone if the lightning cord is touched near the bottom of the iPhone. Staff keep saying it’s my vehicles software. When asked to test it, they can’t even do this type of test in store. How is it that a store that does repairs and warranty work not have a way to simulate a CarPlay connection. When asked what my next steps would be they didn’t even know what to tell me. When asked about maybe a possible upgrade since they can’t fix it they told me they would give me like $600 for this 2 month old iPhone and charge me $950 to get the exact same iPhone. What a deal… Pay $350 more to get the exact same iPhone to fix an issue that should be covered under my warranty.

Deserves a higher rating tbf. Bought my iPhones locally from this store ever since the iPhone X came out in 2017.

Bought the X, XS, 11 Pro, 12 Pro and will also pick up the 13 Pro on Friday. Apple Stores are unmatched, and way better than dealing with the BS of other tech stores.

Saturday out of nowhere the screen on my iphone 11 stopped working. I was across the city working so I called ahead to see if they could get me in. They were able to make me an appointment that worked with my work schedule luckily. I was able to get there a little earlier then expected and they were able to get me in a bit earlier then I had expected. My phone was 6 days past warranty and they graciously accommodated the repair and made the time to squeeze it in and get it back to me by close that day. I am beyond blown away by the level of customer service here. I am so so so happy! Thank you for your help!

Don't reinforce skyrocketing computer hardware prices. We will all regret a desktop computing extinction with proprietary systems like what Apple sells.

Had an appt.yesterday - the person who helped me was Gordon - I have to say he was fabulous - so very very nice, patient, did not mind my questions at all and by far, the best interaction I've had at the store. All of the employees are very knowledgeable and very nice, but I was very impressed with how he actually wrote down some directions for me to follow.and did not make me feel like I was taking up his time. Very very impressed with him - a true asset to Apple and actually anywhere he may work in the future.

I purchased a iPhone 12 Pro Max and on prompting of the sales agent I purchased a otter box case with it. Within 60 days of the purchase the pop socket on the otter box has failed. I thought I purchased it from Apple, that Apple would stand behind its accessories sold in their store, unfortunately they do not, When I inquired at the store, how a inferior product like this made it into their store, which I have always thought would have been tested to ensure Apples high quality. They had no answers, nor a phone number of someone who could tell me. This is totally unacceptable.

Went to the store to have my phone repaired. Staff at the store did not explain what they were doing and deleted over10 years of photos and data including the last photos of my father before he passed away. Utterly shameful Apple. Still crying.

Apple store right now provides a one-on-one session to help you find a product. I had booked a reservation to look at the iPads and got in fairly quickly at my scheduled time. The apple employee who helped me was very knowledgable about the product and showed me the many good features of the product. He was also very nice, pleasant to talk with and very helpful.

Went in recentLy for ear pod issues. The staff had always been stellar. This visit was different. The staff member told me to just throw the ear pods out and she refused to clean them. I mentioned that she should and she agreed But came back and refused and told me to leave. Really terrible service and contacted by the apple store after my poor rating. They defended her? Better staff.

Recent wonderful and absolutely spot on customer service from Wyatt. Just pitch perfect customer service, something that is hard to find these days.

Great casual conversation about products, then life, back to products, back to life, back to products.if Tim Cook watched the video of our interaction he would have said, yeah that was some good customer service LOL.

But then Wyatt and I get chatting about his disability and I learn about how he has somehow taken this unbelievable deck he has been handed, and just kept striding. How I have NO idea. Gives me chills just typing it. Such an inspiration and kick in butt to all of us who get stuck in life's meaningless inconveniences. Luck of the draw to have him serve me, and feel blessed we crossed paths.

Staff inside were fantastic very helpful - however, the security outside the store were inconsistent on enforcing the rules for different people in line outside, and were EXTREMELY rude in asking questions before you entered the store.

Walked up to pick up phone I had reserved on an earlier visit but wasn’t ready to swap due to backup not done. The lineup and security company directing it were an absolute cluster funk. More staff or training required for handling with rediculous requirements.

I came into the store, not knowing what to expect since I am a android guy, and I was amazed! What a magical place, full of iPads and iPhones and other istuff. Bought my wife a $1700 phone, she is happy! The guy at the counter was happy! The armed security people with ak47's outside had smiles on their masked faces too! (just kidding they actually had masks on).

Everybody is happy! (except that one guy in the corner who was looking at everybody funny, but he had a Huawei phone).

Seriously, the apple store provides great service. It's a bit of a pain now with covid, but still a good store to visit if you need apple equipment or a repair done.

Poor customer service
They broke my iphone’s screen and didn’t notify me just gave my phone back. When tried to turned that ON, display wasn’t working. I went there again they said you had third party display this and that. They used glue to bind it, other guy who fixed my phone had hard time to remove that display. I gave them a working phone with battery issue and they gave me that phone with broken display.

I wish i could leave no stars for this.waited for three hours for a new battery.asked them why my phones storage was horrible and if i could fix it somehow.all they did was try to push a new phone on me and told me that they would check for other damages when i knew all it needed was a new battery.in the end i said i refuse to pay for anything but a battery replacement.just now my phone was having the same problem so i thought that maybe id just look up a fix.and it turns out all i had to do was to go to settings-reset settings.that was it.nothing else and it was fixed.yet the tecs at that "tec bar" said there was nothing that could be done and tried to force a new phone on me.it was very poor service and it's set up horribly.i couldn't even get notified to get into line because my phone was turning off every two minutes.did it infront of one of the people there.i also find it shady that they wont open the phone in front of the people who OWN the phone.they didn't seem to know what i meant when i said that raised so many red flags.inside each phone there is a little color patch that changes when water damage occurs.but this can change with a person breathing too close to it.how am i to know they didn't tamper with this if they open it out of site? Also if my phone is being searched or scanned without my knowledge how am i to know? It doesn't take 30-45min to change a battery.so how come in this case it did? I would not recommend their service to anyone.the girl who "helped" me was also rude and didn't believe my battery was dying.it went off in front of her and she didn't even apologize.this happened a few months back but finding this quick fix.has urged me to leave a review.

I needed help with my MacBook Air and they helped me super fast! I really do appreciate how patient they were with how little I know but they were able to pinpoint my problem and fix it in about 5 minutes. I am happy with the excellent customer service!

I called Apple when my phone locked up. Breanon talked me through the process to restore the settings and she spent around one hour with me to get the problem resolved. Very impressed with her skill set and patience with customers. Great place for getting assistance.

If you don't show up when it opens you will have a wait a lil while I showed up 15 min after they opened and had to wait 10 15 min. On the other hand the staff were super friendly and well knowledgeable had a good experience here.

Went to have my battery replaced for my iphone 6, they told me it would take 3-4 hours for them to do it.
When it is literally a job that can be done in 10 mins.
Once we asked to speak to a manager, the guy assisting us by the name of Barry, got very close to my face, closer than I was comfortable and said very rudely, you want to speak to my manager, after that we left the apple store because of the service and unacceptable behaviour from an employee.
The next week I went and paid out my contract for $400. I got the shining new iphone 8, with the apple warranty in case anything went wrong.
It was great for 4 months, I began having nothing but problems with it, you name the problem. I had it.
I was at apple every weekend for the next 2 months, bussing back and forth across the city to go there.
They refused to replace it because they didnt see any problems with it.
They aren't the one using the phone and experiencing the problems, how can you say there is nothing wrong with it.
I was beyond upset, and the next week switched to Samsung, which I have now been using for a year. I haven't had a single problem.
Just goes to show that apple is greedy, they are money hungry, all of their stuff is over priced garbage, and worst of all, their customer service, and employees suck.
