Great place.by far the best for hookah in Winnipeg. Great service. Mustafa who regularly serves us makes the best hookah and top class service.

Been coming here for more than a few years. There’s been times when I’ve had to wait - but EVERY time it was due to either the kitchen not being opened yet, or a packed restaurant. It’s understandable. The food still rocks. I still love the ambience. I still love the friendliness of the staff.

Something I refuse to stay quiet about is the complaint about Arabic music being played… it’s a MIDDLE EASTERN restaurant. NOT a European, African, or Asian restaurant. Arabic music is what should be played in an Arab restaurant. Too many times I’ve seen people come in and ask for music from other continents and it just destroys the experience.

Don’t listen to the naysayers!

Service is not great anymore, it took like 25 minutes to get our tea which was watered down already. Plus, the new rule is that it's only 2 people per shisha now. Definitely not going back anymore.

When u order chicken shawarma u will get veg shawarma with only 3 to 4 pieces of chicken

We were group of 5.
Hookah was good but the music killed the vibe.we literally had to leave as the Arabian music was too much hammer.we also asked the staff if they could change the music but they denied.food took more than 30 mins! Just french fries it was.paid for food and water.and left without eating.

Food is gross. Humus tastes like it was bought from Walmart. Rice tastes like microwaved Uncle Ben's. Garlic sauce was seriously like a white paste. Giving 3 stars because the hookah is amazing and I appreciate the employee. Don't go here for food. Only go here for hookah

Shisha was good, ask for the coconut charcoal. The staff were friendly, however, we ordered dessert It was awful unfortunately it was not good. But the shisha is great. I recommend this place for shisha only.

Arabesque Hookah Cafe and Lounge is a great late night chill spot, I had shisha and tea here, both were excellent.

Hung up my call before i could place an order for pick up. I tried calling back 3-4times! They won’t pick up. Bad service!

Me and my friends had really bad experience here. The chair I got was shaking, I asked the guy who took the order to replace it with an other one and he refused. We ordered a mixed platter and the beef which they gave was chewy and didn’t taste good. Even the table we sat was wiggling while we were having food.

We ordered Gum mint flavor it was alright. Flavor didn't last long.

Palestinian tea was good but it was the same flavour as Yemani tea (although Yemani was supposed to be with milk, milk was not offered).

Turkish ️ was really good as my friends had it.

It's a good place to hang around, except just hope the exhaust would work little hard to suck the smoke out.

Worts experience ever.bad service. Even the furniture was broken. They wouldn't even care to remove it.

I was at arabesque today at 6: 30 I had food and some hookah the food was amazing and the Hookah was excellent I had such an amazing time there I loved the Service and also the way I got treated. I just felt loved being here, if I could I would give more then 5 star.

I always come to arabesque and the there’s nothing wrong with the service. I love the customer service there and I get my food all the time cooked well and taste fantastic the guy named Ahmed makes my food so good and Omar make my shisha very nice never had any bad service since I been here

Food is wonderful, Turkish coffee is exactly as I was hoping for, and the shisha is. Their service is great too!

Worst service I have ever recieved, food could be decent if they worked on the presentation of it and actually provided you with cutlery, napkins and water to drink.the very bare minimum that any other restaurant offers. Exceptionally awful restaurant. Quite unfortunate as we know enough people to bring in more business for them

Honest opinion: I have been here almost 3-4 times, I didn't find the service that great, as none of the servers would circle around the floor, due to which it would be difficult to order food or hookahs or whatever youre getting. Moreover no one greets you nicely which would turn off your mood eventually, if you're looking for a dark comfy environment, this place isnt for you. I have tipped the servers all three times I have been there, only because its their job but this place sucks.

As usual most recommended place for shishas and yes curiously waiting to get hookahs at al-basha

The prices for Hookah has gone up by a lot. The place is nice, but it has become way too expensive to chill here! But the staff are very friendly

Food was decent, hookah was decent. The space in which you eat/smoke is quite open and as a result can get quite loud. Nothing phenomenal here but remarkably and consistently borderline average.

BEST place in the city to enjoy delicious middle eastern food. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Everything about this place is top-notch! Wonderful, friendly owners and staff! Would always recommend arbesque

I've been to 3 hookah bars in the city, and I must say that Arabesque blows all of their competition out of the water. The staff are very helpful and check up on you often. The quality of the shisha and food are amazing. I have become a regular and spend quite some time here, and plan to continue in the future.

Shisha: Berry Mint, Chocolate and Vanilla, Fresh
Drinks: ARABESQUE SPECIAL SMOOTHIE
Food: Shawarma from here is fresh and hot! Give it a try. ;)

The guy is the worst one. He suggested some food and said it was good but it was the worst one and they couldn’t sell it. He charged too much than the regular price.

This restaurant is on the second floor.
There is no separation for people who smoke hookah (which is normal for most places that serve hookah) so if you aren't comfortable with that, this isn't the place for you. I do not smoke hookah, so the review I am doing is more about the food.
This is definitely a solid 4 star bordering on 5 star place for me.
We ordered the Arabesque Combo for $36.99. It comes with 4 kinds of meats, falafels, hummus, garlic sauce, pita bread, moutabbal and fries OR rice (we did the rice). It comes with canned drinks, but they allowed us to swap that for tea. This meal fed 2 for sure, but I don't think 3 comfortably (at least not our group).
2 Pros about this restaurants, they have a lot of different combo choices to choose from. They also have a nice assortment of drinks for non drinkers which includes a variety of teas served in what looks like a copper pot with beautiful glasses. I am very interested in going there to try the rest of their tea variations.
Right now, the reason for not a 5 star is, out of everything there was nothing that I felt I had to go back for. The food was solid, but nothing hooked me. The closest thing was the baklava, but even then, it was the small squares that were fantastic, but the long stick was not. I really like this place, but I'm still waiting to love it. Maybe with subsequent visits they will change my opinion.
Its comfortable and the service was very friendly and informative! There was only one server when we went, so service was a little slow.

Only went in for a brief time, the space is large, clean and well lit. Even though it's a hookah bar it was not Smokey at all and smelled quite nice.

The place is good for the sheesha lovers nd the best part is there french fries juat dnt miss them:)

I've been to many Hookah bars in my past, most of them in the Middle East. I found Arabesque to be as close as possible and as authentic as possible to the ones I've been to in the past.
There's wide array of flavours top choose for the hookah (shisha), the hookahs themselves are made with quality and are visibly clean and well maintained.
The Arabic music (from 5-7pm) adds to the authentic feeling.
The food may be small portioned but is delicious, albeit a bit too much garlic was added to the hummus.
The staff is really friendly and knows "how to hookah" such that even costumers who never used one before could enjoy themselves.

Would definitely recommend going.

Nice little hole in the wall. Great atmosphere, great price, staff is always nice. Always recommend this place!
