We have ordered dinner from here several times now and it’s always delicious! Definitely one of our go to restaurants when we don’t feel like cooking. My favourite is the red chili oil rice bowl with chicken. We also love the red chili oil to use at home!

Food is just awesome, love it. Would be nice if they had beers there, but tea is also good, so it is fine

Amazing and attentive service. Gave great recommendations and attended to all our needs. The server about allergies beforehand. Tasty menu and great portions. The wontons are delish!

I was cooking up some frozen dumplings I bought last week and noticed the smell of boar taint. Now the stink stuck in my pot even after I washed it multiple times.

I can not say enough good things about this place! Amazing service, beautiful setting with such a delicious assortment of dishes.

First time there today, and it was a smaller sized restaurant, but the food and friendly staff was almost perfect. The food portions was on point, myself and friends all stuffed. The only thing, that wasn't a big deal, my dish came out a few moments later, when everyone else was served. But overall it gets a 4 start from me. Will be coming back sooner than later.

Cozy atmosphere combined with simple foods like soups and appetizers also combo dishes. Great service and friendly staff. All in one place so come over and see for yourself.

Great food and great service. We have been following Aroma since the beginning and through the pandemic. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up that it isn't as accessible as it once used to be. $17 per udon soup seems quite a bit considering the ingredients are mostly corn, cabbage, and the meat. A regular udon soup now no longer is enough for a dinner meal where an appetizer of $11-15 will be added on. But now to spend about $80-90 for couple bowls of udon is a bit much.

Great food, even greater people. Food is delicious, especially if you love asian cuisine. Always fresh and perfectly prepared and cooked. People are always friendly and accommodating even when they are very busy. These are among many reasons why we are regulars here.

Tried it for the first time after reading the article in the Free Press. Absolutely the most favourable food I have had in a long time. Wonderful waitress who patiently explained everything to us. We will be back. We want to try more items

Honestly one of our favourite take out spots. A very tasty menu of items with unique flavours. Items always managed to be delivered hot. Great service too. I still remember the first time we ordered we got a call some time later from the restaurant asking if we enjoyed our dinner.the answer is still a resounding yes!

Try the Kimchi pork rice bowls. Big portions and wonderful flavors. You won't be disappointed. Also, the staff here is amazing. Go a few times and they'll know who you are and treat you kindly right from the start.

I had the spicy chicken udon soup and it was incredible! Full of great quality ingredients. The best part was the chili oil soup broth! The atmosphere and music were charming!

Their chili oil wontons really do live up to the hype. Generous amounts of filling and the sauce is so, so good. Nine pieces is enough to be a meal if you have a smaller appetite.

The pork udon is also really good. The noodles are bouncy and satisfying. The soup is creamy and delicious.

Also really appreciate that the cashier/server was attentive without being too much. I was able to enjoy my meal without the feeling of getting disturbed.

Some friends introduced me to this true gem today - wow! The food and atmosphere are excellent. The menu is dynamic and exciting - the flavours will amaze you! Wishing Louie and his team continued success. It's exciting restaurants like this that make Winnipeg awesome.

First time for us yesterday, as soon as you enter, the smell is so good! And the food does not disappoint. The chili wantons and the soups, udon noodle bowls were so flavorful and yummy. Staff was so welcoming, we even met chef Louis, who came put to chat with guests. We'll go again.

Always get the aroma Lala chicken it slaps! Just got to try the gochujang wonton and it is delicious a must try! The staff are always friendly and easy to understand. The food is always on time and easy to pick up. Hidden gem of winnipeg.

I ordered the Spicy Snow Beef Udon and it was amazing. Good portion size and the broth was flavorful and spicy. The chilli wontons are a must order as well.

I've been ordering from Aroma Bistro since they opened.
Although it's been a while since I've dined in (they've expanded to have a bigger dining area), ordering for pick-up/delivery serves no problem.

I've always tried to stir away from delivery because some restaurants and how they prepare and package their food can make the food less appetizing. Aroma Bistro always does it well and the food always arrives fresh, hot and delicious.

Food wise now, the ingredients work well together. Not one ingredient feels like it over powers another, they just compliment each other.
The meat to carb and vegetables ratio is great, even the portion all together makes the meal you paid for (in my opinion) valuable.

Regardless of the risen prices of the menu items (at least $1 or $2 from the very first time I've ordered) the pricing and portion is still a vaue.
Overall, i highly recommend.

Aroma Bistro is a tiny restaurant with BIG flavours. (Seriously, there's only one table currently so you might want to call ahead if you're planning to dine-in!) The Red Chili Oil Wontons are made in-house and are one of those dishes that you're going to want to order every single time. I even got a couple bags of frozen wontons to go! LaLa Chicken and Spicy Snow Beef Udon were delicious. I really enjoyed their chili oil chicken broth with the soup. Owner/Chef Louie and his team went above and beyond to make our meal unforgettable. Aroma Bistro will be a regular stop whenever we're in Winnipeg!

UPDATE: I simply cannot express how much I love Aroma Bistro and how appreciative I am of the team for not only creating exceptionally delicious and creative dishes but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu has been expanded a bit and the dining room has been nicely renovated to include four tables that are comfortably spaced. The Spicy Snow Beef Rice Noodles Soup and Aroma LaLa Chicken are extremely flavourful and my current favourites. The Fruit Teas balance out the richness of the meal well; I had Lychee Green Tea but I bet they're all delicious. Our server was friendly and the food came out quick. Staff were wearing masks. I continue to stock up on frozen Aroma Red Chili Oil Wontons every time we're in Winnipeg and recommend that everyone do the same! This restaurant is absolutely worth the drive from Brandon; just be sure to reserve a table in advance!

I used to love the snow beef udon noodles. Recently, they raised the price by $3 and the quality of the dish decreased. They also stopped adding in enoki mushrooms, corn, and enough vegetable. For a price increase, I would expect maintained quality so I am disappointed.

Red chili dumplings are great. Noodles are a nice consistency. The shrimp in my friend's dish had a lovely light and crunchy fry.

Aroma Bistro was great, I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was hot, tasty, and actually spicy. There didn't seem to be a lot of room in there so I'm not sure how they'd handle large groups, but it's definitely worth giving them a call. I'll definitely be going back. I had the Udon stir-fry and while it was great, I think I'd try something else next time.

10/10, great place for lunch and dinner.

Aroma Bistro quickly became one of my top 5 favourite restaurants after my visit. Their Aroma LaLa Chicken is some of the best-tasting chicken I’ve had in the city. Not only is their food great but the staff are always so nice and accommodating it makes it easy to come back.

Chef louie and his team know whats up. And winnipeg should know it too.

A truly gem of a place with their fusian asian cooking. On popular opinion I did go for the chili oil wontons and they didnot disappoint. Got their chili oil and I may use it on anything I can put them on. Also their honkong style french toast beef shank soup and fried pork udon should make it a complete course meal.

This should be a must stop place for everyone in winnipeg and anyone that is visiting you in winnipeg.

I wish to see them do some classic honkong dishes like the claypot rice and pineapple bun in the near future.

The food was absolutely wonderful, and the staff were happy to explain what things were, so that we could get exactly what we wanted!

It's so nice their dining area is open again, but honestly, I just got takeout and are in the parking lot instead of waiting for a table. YUM!

We have waited with anticipation for Aroma to reopen after renovations. Previously we have eaten in at the one table plus had take out and delivery. We love anything with the chili oil and wontons. We were disappointed when we dropped in last night and they were full. When we asked how many they now have now they said two tables. We were hopeful there may be a handful of tables in their expansion to enjoy the food pipping hot! Guess we have to book well in advance in the future.

Chef Loui is the best! Ate in a couple of weeks ago with my best friend, the staff treated us like royalty, waiting on our every need. Chef even made us shrimp spring rolls that weren't even on the menu yet and the most delicious red chilli oil wontons. Every bite was delicious! If you're craving pho, the pork belly noodle bowl is a must try! My new spot for pho, everywhere else cannot compare!

I had called the restaurant asking many questions of what they recommend and they were more than happy to give me recommendations. The guy on the phone was so polite and helpful. Once I got there everyone was so welcoming and so sweet. I had tried the food and it was the best food I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended. THE friendliest staff Ive ever encountered! Was greeted by a really nice lady, she asked if it was our first time there- it was, and she explained the menu and told us about their most popular item- the chili oil wontons. We ordered those, along with 2 other item and OMG. No wonder those wontons are their most popular dish, they are the BEST wontons Ive ever had. They are handmade and their chili oil is made in-house as well. The chef even came out to thank us for supporting and gave us 2 drinks on the house. It was such a lovely experience. Wont be my last time!

Aroma Bistro is your best option for Ramen in the city. Period. I have tried all of them around the city, and Aroma Bistro is the one with the greatest broth flavour, noodles and food proportions. Every time I drive down St Marys I make sure I pick up the best ramen in the city. They are always eager to provide with great service and quality, well packaged food!

One of the best fusion restaurants in the city! The food tastes amazing and if you love spicy food, this is it. My fave is the Kimchi pork rice, highly recommended! The staff were so nice and friendly, I’m sure you’ll love talking to them. We ordered some takeout and it was nicely packaged. I’ll definitely come back for more! ️

Walked in off the street last night. Was greeted by friendly staff and the chef as well! The red chili wonton are amazing. Went back tonight for more and was again greeted by the chef and cashier (I think he even remembered my order from the night before)! Pleasant experience and great food. Thanks guys!

The reviews were right all along. The food here is very, very good. I was a bit skeptical and I did not want to be disappointed because of how my friends hyped this place up. We could have ordered via Door Dash or Skip but we made sure we booked a dine in experience. Sure there was one table for four and the restaurant was small. But the food really made it up. My expectations were shattered in a good way. I loved the LALA CHICKEN, the deep fried wonton, chili oil wonton, the stir fried beef udon. Chef Louie even went out of the kitchen to greet us and check on us and asked us how was the food. Best part of all of this was that they were sold out of the French toast. But he made some for us just because we asked for it really bad.lol We live north of the city and this place is quite far from us but we wont mind the drive because the food is so worth it.
