We got to explore three trails and spent some time at the concession and mini-golf, which were great. Nice playground by the concession as well.

Two downsides: the beach isn’t great, and I don’t think many people swim there because the water is gross and has some runoff slime if some kind. Secondly, the park definitely needs some updates and care in places, and it seems funding for staff, etc.is short (which is the province’s doing)

Nice park, definitely worth a visit though.

Campground very far from water. Large lake with good fishing. Not really for canoes/ kayaks. Trails are good. Very unique.

The Yurts are great, very comfortable size for 4 people. The landscape is gorgeous with green hills all around. The beach is not as great as the water was dirty.

Great camping sites, very private and large amount of space for large camper and more. Bit of a walk to park store, beach or dock. Take bikes. Decent trail system cut thru bushes everywhere. Store sold hot, cold food, ice cream snacks, minor fishing tackle, worms and frozen minnows. Free firewood which was great. Bears, deer, fishing, campsite gophers and squirels. Overall an above average park to enjoy.

We have been here in 2018 and we stayed in a Yurt and it was a very good experience. I have shared some images and the camp ground was well maintained and good for kids.

The best downhill skiing in Manitoba, perfect for a yearly trip, which me and my family try to do annually. Bundle lift tickets with a room at the Russel Inn to make it extra worth it

This is a pretty nice park. The campsites are well treed and private (there are group use areas as well that are open). There is a convenience store at the top of the hill to the beach that sells ice cream and the like as well as a playground for the kids (there are also playgrounds, in various states of repair) in the centre of each bay of the campground.

There is a small boat launch (and marina) inside the park and another larger one by the dam.

The beach is a bit rocky and there isn't much of a swimming area because it is on the river.

Some nice views from the top of the valley and lots of berries when they are in season.
