Aspen Ridge Resort

This has to be one of the best places to relax and enjoy Wasagaming. Scott and Charlene work tirelessly to offer clean, functional and comfortable cabins (even offering dishwashers in some). The pool is always so clean and there is ample space to toss the football or have a game of bocce ball in the green spaces.
Highly recommend.

We booked a cabin here for 7 nights. The cabin was nice, bathroom was nice with great tub and shower. For price, location it is definitely worth it. Some notes: no ac, but trees kept cabin cool even on warm days, there is TV but little channels, little cutlery and dishware but enough for a family, big area in middle where kids can play, or other types of games. Right near pool. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would go back

We stayed in cabin 8. It cabin was super old and ugly! It was in bad shape, the walls were all scratched up. The windows were dirty and thin. You could hear people talking in the cabin next to you. The smoke alarm went off at least 10 times during breakfast in the cabin next to us and we could clearly hear it from our cabin! The wifi was SUPER bad! It was bad enough that it would be better to pretend that there was no wifi so you don't get so frustrated! The pool was cold and a bit dirty. We will never ever come back!

I've been staying at Aspen Ridge Resort for several years now. The cabins are so beautiful, clean and well-maintained! It always feels like a home away from home. Scott, the owner, is always very welcoming! Highly recommend the resort for price, comfort, friendliness and cleanliness!

My only complaint was no fire pits! Great location! Clean and more than adequate for a family of 4

Cabins were comfortable, clean, stocked with what was needed (washcloths, dish soap, fresh white towels, etc.). Social distancing and Covid considerations were evident in office and during other interactions with employees. Walkability to sites was great. Staff even boosted our vehicle when our battery died. Great stay, will be sure to visit again.

We have been staying in Scott's cabins here for over 20 years! And every year, we wait all year to come back! It is always an incredible experience. We have gotten to know Scott and his family by seeing them around the office or the pool, and we are always greeted like friends. The cabins are always clean and homey, and we are always well taken care of. There are large areas of grass and trees, sand boxes and of course a huge pool that is always clean and well maintained, that make these cabins so wonderful for kids and families. We always enjoy the use of the barbecues that are provided! Cabins are fully stocked with clean towels, pots & pans, cups, plates, etc. These cabins are situated on the edge of the park, which offer a little more privacy and quiet, and yet is only a 5 minute walk from all the shops downtown. Staying in these cabins has always made our stay here stress free, relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you Scott and family!

We've been coming to Aspen Ridge Resort almost every year for our family vacation for well over 20 years! The cabins (we've stayed in numerous different cabins over the years) have always been great.very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Scott and his family have always gone out of their way to show us the different cabins available as our needs changed and helped us find the perfect one for us each year.

We are always treated with the utmost respect and made to feel like friends, not just clients. Our kids and grandkids love the pool and the well-maintained green space.

We can't imagine every staying anywhere else! We absolutely LOVE Clear Lake and Scott and his family are a big part of the reason that we return year after year!

Got charged a 500.00 cleaning fee for having a couple dirty dish towels.before we had left we swept, mopped, and did all the dishes but still got UNKNOWINGLY charged. Owner did not mention anything about a cleaning fee, only way I knew was when I checked credit card bill a week later.

Cabin was alright not what I was expecting, also was told their was a pool but however their was no water in it. Customer service was fairly bitter towards my concerns not a great experience.

This place deserves a 5 star rating. The cabins are perfect. So well appointed with everything you would ever need. Very clean and tidy. The grounds are well kept. I can't say enough about Scott and his family. They are perfect hosts. I would highly recommend Aspen Ridge Resort to be your go to vacation spot.

We had a very poor experience with the management, a group of 5 of us rented a cabin and they charged us $500 dollars extra for a cleaning charge, and we cleaned the cabin just as well as I had at previous resorts and have never been charged, their was no damage to the cabin or it contents besides a face towel that was dirty she said she had to throw it out, while talking to them on the phone about it she hung up very disappointed hope this review helps.

We did tons of research before coming here, the reviews we read seemed to make it a nice place to stay. There must be someone else who has taken over since then because When we got there we had to wait 45 minutes for the guy named Scott to come to the office in order for us to get our keys, when we got in the place was not very clean there was garbage left from the previous people that were there, the cabin smelt musty and like moth balls, when inquiring about it Scott would not answer anything and after we left I had a $300 cleaning charge on my credit card and when I tried to call about it (we cleaned up) he hung up on us, was just trying to have an affordable weekend with my children. Would never go back

We stayed in a quaint little cabin at the beautiful Aspen Ridge Resort at Clear Lake. The cabin was fresh and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary amenities for our week-long stay.
When we encountered a minor problem with our wifi connection, we contacted the owner, Scott, who immediately fixed the problem. We found the owners to be very friendly and obliging.
We loved the pool area at this resort. Around the large swimming pool is a beautiful wooden pool deck that is fully equipped with many lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas. It was a popular gathering place.
We had a wonderful stay, and we will definitely stay at Aspen Ridge Resort again in the future.

Stayed there for the weekend of the 22nd, when we arrived there was food left in the fridge from the previous people who were there, the cabin smelt like marijuana and cigarette smoke. There was obvious vomit on the wall behind the toilet which was disgusting. The landlord was incredibly hard to contact, and when we did talk to him he tried telling us he cleaned it and then blamed us for the mess which resulted in him CHARGING US a $500 cleaning fee! I tried calling him multiple times and when he finally answered he hung up and I haven’t been able to contact him since. Please beware after reading a few other reviews I can see this becoming a trend with the resort. BEWARE EVERYONE

Owners are welcoming. Beautiful cabins and right in town. Close to the beach and hiking trails. Unfortunately no AC.
