Assiniboine Gordon Inn on the Park

Not a 5 star hotel, but a half decent place to rest for the night. Rooms are somewhat up to date. A tad dated, but very clean. I liked the location on Portage. Very close to everything you need. I loved the free continental breakfast provided across the street. They also give you 2 water bottles and Dove care products in your room. Nice TV and I had a table with fridge and microwave. I would stay here again. The restaurant and lounge across the street apart of the hotel is very cozy with nice staff. The only drawback is you have to walk across the street in the winter time.

Was on a long trip to Ontario and this was my first rest stop. It was the 3rd best.out of 4. The beds were decent but the food. I could make better and I suck at cooking. I fell asleep eventually. Still needed a cup of coffee in the morning though. I can function without coffee just as well as I can with coffee, but after sleeping here I needed a cup. It wasn't as bad as the last one I was at.

My niece had her wedding reception at the Assiniboine Gordon Inn on the Park's banquet hall back in 2000. It was nice.

Poor service, the bathroom is noisy. And the terrible treatment of the reception boy, at no time was kind, it was rude and even the lighting is not good

Location wise right on portage Ave. I went to the bar and was greeted by friendly staff and a good bartender that made me feel welcomed and the atmosphere was nice

Motel was like 32 C got a total of 3hrs sleep was told to open window they couldn't control temperature because of central heating

Stunk of cigarette smoke in our " non smoking" hotel. Far from most things.
