My home insurance has gone up steeply over the last few years. I recently got a quote from CAA and it is $600 less with the same coverage. Needless to say I’m switching. I should have done this years ago.

It's not so much of an insurance company as it is a group of lying thieves

I called to cancel my insurance two months ago because it was too expensive and I found a more affordable plan with someone else. I called to cancel my insurance two months ago because it was too expensive and I found a more affordable plan with someone else and was told that everything was in order. Now I got a piece of paper in the mail that says if don’t pay within the next two weeks my account won’t be canceled and I’ll be forced to pay over two grand. I tried to call My broker back and have not been able to get in reach with her about this matter. So disappointed.

I am not happy with the service received from them. I started a claim over 4 months a go addressing that this claim needed to be be dealt with quite quickly. We addressed the need that as each week passed more damages would be incurred on the house structurally. They sent people who were not even local to address things and never heard back from them. They assigned me a senior claims specialist Bob Walsh who was no help to anything I have addressed. Fast forward 4 months later the house has significant damages to the house on the main and second level and from what I read in their policy if they actually ever get to that point they will not cover any damages incurred ton the original claim I submitted. What's the purpose of these people if they don't address any of the claims submitted.
