I really enjoyed this salon was my go too! I’ve been taking my daughter here for many times she always gets a kids manicure and they would charge me 15 with nail art and she loved it. I expected the same but today they charged me 25$ for her and gave a full manicure without asking. (this was unnecessary she is only 8 no cuticle work really needed) disappointing as We really enjoyed this salon. Will go back though!

I have been a regular at this place for a bit now, and it honestly really depends on who is doing your nails. My recent acrylic set I was really disappointed with. Two of my nails are crooked, a bristle from the brush got into my nail and she didn’t bother to take it out and when I told my esthetician friend this, she said thats a big no no. Also i showed her a picture of the shape and color, asked her opinion, and felt like she shrugged me off and didn’t care to help. I am considering taking my business somewhere else unfortunately. Which is sad because i liked it here.

Loved my nails and appreciated the quick walk in service. Rose was also very friendly. We chatted a few times nothing too overwhelming. It was perfect. Came with an arm massage and soak.

Excellent service. I came in as a walk in for a pedicure and to have my acrylics taken off. Yen and another lady took really good care of me. This place is my favorite for pedicures in Winnipeg. They do try to upsell but they don't pressure you to buy it.

The ladies are absolutely wonderful my girl Merryn and I couldn't ask for anyone better. Yen is amazing also and Rose just wonderful.

Honestly I don't know why it's called Awesome nails. I work close by and decided to go and check this place for my gel nails refill. The woman who did my nails was soo in rush, answering calls during the job and in a big hurry. She put tge machine on high speed and I ended up with lots of cuts until it was super bad when she inserted the machine under nail and pushed it too deep. It was bleeding a lot, it took a lots of time until the fingers healed. I told her that it is painful but she didn't really care. She charged me the full price and I run away from there and would never come back, and I do not recommend this place!

Yes, the place is well kept and clean.
The lady is experienced and was able to fulfill my nail art request.

However, it was a holiday so I called ahead of time to ask if they're busy. They said they're not so I came in. Rude introduction, rushing me to choose a colour. When I showed the design that I want they didn't even listen and said this is Photoshop we can't do that. All I wanted was chrome and matte nails. After talking through this with the lady, she agreed to do it. Asked to put on new full set, didn't even acknowledge it. Promised to make 1 finger longer, instead she filed down all the nails.kept being rude. Cut 2 of my fingers with the filer because she was so rough. One started bleeding and she didn't treat it. Now both of them are swollen. After which she finally broke a smile. I looked around at other ladies, they were somehow nice to the customers. One especially, I assume she is the manager.

So please ensure to train all of your staff. I paid $70 and left a tip. But the experience is definitely unpleasant, I won't come back for sure.

I don’t get the chance to come here often because I live far from Winnipeg, but anytime I am down in the city I make sure to find time to come here. Fantastic service at a great price. Only wish I lived closer so I could treat myself to time at Awesome Nails more often.

Don’t come here! I went there originally for acrylic nails, last visit and they charged me and gave me shellac knowing that I probably wouldn’t know the difference. I figured I would give them another chance as I got a 5 dollar gift certicificate from Christmas time.

I came back to get my nails removed today. They kept trying to upsell me to get acrylics or polish.

But the WORST is how they removed my shellac nails.they just took a fake acrylic nail and basically ripped off the nail. I could of done that at home? Was the most painful experience ever. So unprofessional. Sad they couldn’t have the decency to soak my nails in acetone first.

Went in with an appointment and got the best set of gel nails I’ve ever seen. The lady was extremely sweet, she was a perfectionist and made sure each nail was perfect. I will definitely make this place my new go-to. Also there are pretty great prices for the amazing quality of the nails!
